Do not stay here
Dirty and disgusting. Think there was blood on the walls and the shower was too dirty to shower in. Don't know how this place is still operating.

Hotel was dirty and had bugs
I reserved this hotel for a group of student musicians who were scheduled to play at a church on Sunday. The feedback they gave me was that the lobby was full of cigarette smoke, the sheets on the beds had stains on them, the door didn't even have a door handle or a proper lock, they had to go buy bug spray before they could stay in the rooms, the bath tub had hairs in it, etc. etc. You should take this hotel off your list of offerings. It was just awful.

Only if you need a bed to sleep in
The entire place looks run down, but looks don't matter, it's on the inside, right? Well the inside is also somewhat run down, but not terribly so. This place could really shine with some renovations, but if you're the kind of person who needs everything to be aesthetically pleasing, this is not your place. If you're the kind of person who just needs a bed to sleep and don't want to be bothered you're entire stay this is it. What turned this place off for me entirely was that they gave another guest the same key to our room and they almost got it in. The hotel staff look nice though and seemed kind, although they all looked like they came to work in their pajamas.

Worst hotel stay ever
This was a last resort and it was horrible. Filthy, no hot water in shower, only two English TV channels, owner rude, noise very early (blower) dangerous area, I do not recommend.

Dirty run down hotel. Broken furniture. Seven TV channels including three Chinese and one Russian plus CNN and two Disney. Rude staff. Green algae covering the bottom of both pools

This hotel has fallen on hard times
I can't tell whether the people running it are trying to fix it up or responsible for it's sad state. They don't seem very professional at all, so I am guessing the latter. The first room I was take to had a big visible hole in the window. When I pointed it out the woman seemed surprised like "oh is that a problem" Hot water and water pressure were a luxury not to be found and one of the towels smelled like it was dipped in a chemical solution.

Zero star hotel
Worst hotel ever. Nothing looked like the pictures. Reception had no idea I had reserved a room. No internet. Cockroaches in room. Very dirty. Game me keys to occupied room twice. Not recommended to anyone.

Good and bad but I liked it
Not the fanciest place. Not the most modern. But the place has rustic character. If you are used to the Hilton then go somewhere else. There are multiple mineral pools and several hot tubs. The facility is pretty good sized and has interesting amenities that you really need to explore on your own

Lovely pools.
The pools and the grounds were lovely, But rooms were very basic and spare. Lots of things in disrepair.

The motel is like an abandoned place, dirty, trash everywhere. It was a really bad experience for us.

horrible stay
Front desk was very unorganized, I booked a king size room bed and she gave us to queen bed rooms and charge us another $30 dollars extra on top of what ever we payed Expedia. We got into the room around 11pm the room was still getting clean and not ready! They did not gave as any towel or anything at all thank god we do have our own towels the room was smelling like bleach and beds are dirty. I will never recommend this hotel! !!!!!

The staff dos not speak English , everything was so dirty, if you need something, there is no one answers the phone. I wouldn't recommend enyone to stay there. I never had this kinde of horrible experiance.

It was gross. The toilet didn't flush bathroom light didn't work. I paid for a night and ended up leaving 20 minutes after I checked in

Not a good experience
Got there place was creepy. Charged extra for the kids. Ran credit card after I told her not to. We didn't even stay there and we're out $150. I wish I had read the reviews first they seem spot on. Don't know why expedia calls it two star. Should be no star. Hope this was helpfully.

Big Disappointment! Not a place I would recommend
There was trash everywhere. The hotel was under construction and not fully functional. The pools were not clean. There was gross smells like sewage. The doors to the rooms did not close properly. The furniture was old, in bad shape and upholstery stained & gross.

Intro to property = welcoming flowering plants. Interior of lobby/reception = messy, unkempt and off-putting -- most especially front desk which was chaotic, strewn with keys, paper, and, in short, totally unbusiness like. My Expedia hotel reservation was NOT honored. After driving for several hours and looking forward to checking in, instead I had to spend my own dime in contacting Expedia and getting the situation resolved. Hotel staff at this place did nothing but say they kept telling Expedia not to book people there.

Customer service was horrible. We are prepaid for the room but when we arrive we were shocked , our room was already sold to someone else... You can feel smell of cats are animals within the lobby . Old surrounding were very dirty and we would like and it was sold to someone else

Pull up at 2 AM no staff on hand walked around for a half hour nobody there place was filthy full of cats had to find another hotel there was none available in the whole area drove 27 miles found one paid $400 for six hours had two kids in the car 15 years old they were scared and upset i'm so ashamed that I booked through your staff that I may never book again I called from 6 PM on nobody ever answered the end was never occupied I believe drug use is going on with the staffthat's it I'm not writing any more now anymore

As soon as we arrived the lady at the desk was complaining of how much we paid, she said we should've been charged more. I told her we booked through expedia and she commented " oh they still get 20 %" that was very unprofessional, we only booked because it was a sale through expedia.

Wereally enjoyed the stay but the service could be better. The owners daughter that runs it is kind of rude to the guest and the help. I didn't like that. But the Mom was very sweet and the only reason id go back..

nightmare on 5th street...
The room was terrible. Broken window, mold in bathroom, ten channels on a tiny tv, stinky fridge, gap in wall by ac unit, no kitchen or internet as promised, shopping carts by entrance and we had to wait for the room over an hour after check in.

I wouldn't if I were you
Unbelievably poor customer service experience to begin with.....The owner ignored us in the lobby for 10 minutes talking on the phone with a vendor. No organizational skills observed. Slips with "reservations" including credit card numbers all over the counter for anyone to observe. No computer that I could see. She took us to our room....it smelled like a port-o-let, and the "kitchen" was more poorly equipped than most homeless settlements under bridges, and the refrigerator, as well as the air conditioning, simply didn't work. It was FILTHY.....we just glanced at the bathroom.....I didn't care to do any microbiological spelunking. Upon seeing the room, we told her it just wasn't acceptable and that we would be unable to stay. She refused to reverse the charges to our credit card, so while we were still on site, we called our bank to dispute the charges, which is still under "investigation". The property looked NOTHING like the photos on Expedia, though they might have been taken here in an earlier incarnation. Luckily, we found another really pleasant place to stay quickly. I think most people would agree this is a tenement, and I think I'd rather sleep in the back of a Volkswagen.

Was unable to keep reservation, and even though the stayed fee was to be equal to 1 night's stay, they billed me for every night! When I contacted them about the overcharging they yelled at me, told me "too bad" and hung up on me.

Go elsewhere. Couldn't find manager; walked around 5 min's trying to find the office (labeled in Korean). Office was a mess; dog from their adjoined apt yapped at us. When the manager came, she argued & complained how she hated it when people use Hotels.com, because she said she never got paid, & wanted us to pay her again, even though we showed her the email/receipt of pd in full. The key to our room wouldn't open the door where; room # was taped on. Got another key. The next room had a barking dog, which shut up after we reported it to the manager. Microwave's on-off switch didn't work; only way to turn it on/off was to plug it in/unplug it. There were only a few TV channels; all but a couple were in Korean. Bathroom didn’t have washcloths or hand towels, but only 2 small bath towels that were so rough I resorted to sharing the pool towel that my husband used.At least it was soft and usable.The "face soap" was gritty like Lava.Happily, the bed sheets were clean and crisp.Outdoors, cats roamed with the associated cat urine smell. Poolside furniture had bare wood and threadbare padding that looked like a health hazard. There were no less than 3 grocery carts parked around the place, adding to the spa-like ambiance. I can’t imagine why anyone would return there. I certainly won’t.Consider yourself warned.I’m also disappointed that Hotels.com would rate this even as a 2. The pictures posted do not at all match what we found when we arrived.

Nightmare at the Sahara in Desert Hot Springs
We went to check in and they could not find reservations - the owners did not have computers. The grounds were not maintained and deplorable with trash and animals around. The hotel is not smoking but the staff and guests were smoking in the entrance and lobby. After seeing a room that was available we felt it was not sanitary or safe to stay at the motel. Grounds horrible, swimming pool dirty and room very unclean. Expedia has always been my go to travel resource and they were great dealing with this horrible experience-they offered to find other lodging for us.

Don't go there.
The place is run-down, old, lack of maintenance. It is the worst place I've ever stayed at and they charged me the price similar to a 3 star hotel. Suppose to have free WiFi but it's not working..room is small and filthy. I would never go back and do not recommend this place for anybody.

Run, Run, Run, This place is a nightmare. There are animals running everywhere. The rooms are in terrible shape. We got room 12 but key 9, because key 9 opens 12? The lobby area stinks. We checked in went to the room and then drove away. She charged my card for the full price even after we had already paid at hotels.com when I explained that she still refused to take it off. I chose to sleep in my car rather than this place.!!!

we could not stay there
WE COULD NOT STAY THERE!! It was not anything like what we expected for $150 in this area. It was run down and the room I looked in was small, old, and did not look clean. Families were bringing in their own food and barbecuing all over the place creating lots of chaos and unpleasant odors. We told the lady at the front desk that we could not stay there. She was nice but said we had to contact Expedia about the refund. I could not find a way to do that plus we had to find another place to stay immediately. SO we did not stay there. Can I get a refund?

Extremely unorganized
Upon check in ,the lady was trying to charge us again,even if she knew that we booked through Expedia( where you always pay ) there was a very poor air conditioning,Internet was disrupted continuously .it stated continental breakfast,but nowhere to be seen. The TV (OLD!) had the poorest connection I have seen in ages,and only Korean Chanels.

Worst ever!
First, I spend 2hour to check in. they offer 1st floor and change to 2nd floor which don't have electrocity then, they give us far away room where don't have full kitchen.(I reserved 1bed with full kitchen). Second, there's only 3 towel and when i ask them for new, they said they will give new one when i bring back the used ones. so, i have walk back to room and had to bring back the used towel. Third, since they took us room without stove, I ask them for TWO instant stove (one for soup one for bbq) but they said they can lend me only ONE because that is rule. hahaha.. Forth, the Continental breakfast... there's 2box of donut with one small coffee pot for entire hotel guest. ARE YOU KIDDING?? .. Conclusion, I'll never ever go back to Saharan and I'll never use HOTELS.COM. I'm so much frustrate that I believed in Hotel.com review and ad.
