그냥 무난하지만 가격대비 권장하지 않음
가족여행으로 선택한 호텔이었으며 호텔 가격에 비해 시설은 오래 됐습니다. 기차역에서 가깝다고 생각됐으나 짐이 없는 경우만 가깝고 짐이 있는 경우는 얕은 언덕길을 오르기에 조금은 부담 스럽습니다. 에어콘과 엘리베이터가 없으며.. 호텔은 저녁8시30분 정도이후에는 주문을 받지 않습니다. 주변에 늦게까지 문을 여는 식당이 라우터브루넨 기차역 앞에 스테인바흐 호텔밖에 없으나 이 호텔의 음식 맛이 영 꽝입니다.. 기차역 앞에 coop은 7시에 문을 닫기 때문에 식사가 늦을 경우에는 꼭 바깥에서 마치시고 호텔에 들어오셔야 굶지 않습니다. 종합해서 말하면 가격대비 권장하지 않고.. 조용한 것을 원하시면 한번 생각해 보시고 예약하시기 바랍니다.

라우터부르넨의 멋진 경험~^^
호텔은 라우터부르넨 역앞에 안내판이 있고 그냥 큰길따라 조금만가면 보인다. 찾기 아주 쉽다~ 스위스의 딴 호텔처럼 방은 좁으나 일단 뷰가 넘 좋다~^^ 폭포가 보인다. 폭포보며 맥주한잔하기 좋다. 발코니 앞 자그마한 정원도 예뻤고~ 그린덴발트보다 조용한 느낌을 바란다면 라우터부르넨 오벌란트를 추천한다 저녁에 산책을 하는데 조용하고 너무 좋았다 가격도 그린덴발트보다 저렴하고.. 호텔 밑에 레스토랑이 있어 저녁을 먹기도 편리하다 조식도 채소도 있고 빵도 다양하고 만족스러웠다 무엇보다 주인부부가 너무 친절했다 추천한다~♡

라우터브루넨에 있는 호텔로 저희가 투숙한 트리플룸의 전망은 정말 좋았습니다. 특히 밤 11시까지 폭포에 조명이 비추어 주어서 별빛과 함께 장관을 이루었습니다. 단지 인터넷이 포함된 방이었으나 연결이 잘 되지 않아서 불편했습니다. 투숙을 추전드리며, 투숙하신다면 호텔 주변 45분짜리 산책 코스를 거닐어보시기를 추천드립니다. 정말 멋진 풍경을 감상하실 수 있습니다.

좋은 호텔입니다.
호텔방에서 융프라우 산과 폭포가 동시에 보이는 멋진 풍경이었습니다. 스위스라서 서비스업 종사자들이 겉으로는 무뚝뚝하고 요구사항을 들어주긴 하나 좀 사무적입니다. 요금 할인 방법도 알려주고 여행 일정 상담도 해주고 전문적인 서비스 응대는 훌륭합니다. 정이 없어 보여서 그렇지. Wifi가 되기는 하는데 접속이 잘 안되기도 하고 속도는 별로입니다. 저녁식사를 하시려면 꼭 예약하세요.

Very central location. Helpful staff. Very friendly attendant at the breakfast service. Note: If you do have gluten intolerances you need to ask for cereal or bread. They do have it, just not posted anywhere.

Understanding the wonderful and unique location it is ok to charge a bit more, but honestly the price was very high. The hotel should offer better room facilities and service. The carpet and bathroom smelled old or humid. The restaurant was close so dinner options were limited. Parking in site for an extra fee was a plus.

Great location. Family owned who work very hard to please everyone. Our room was big, quiet and had a terrific view. Bathroom was dated but everything worked well. Free breakfast was very nice. Good food and bar.

Overall, we had a delightful stay at the Hotel Oberland. The staff was partichlarly friendly and helpful and the restaurant was so good, we ate there twice.

The property was very nice and clean..location was perfect..the view from our room was absolutely stunning. The front desk ladies were amazingly kind and helpful and very patient and friendly answered any questions about the area a food recommendation.

Perfect location, but property needs updating
You're in Lauterbrunnen for the scenic views and the hiking, and if you're doing it right - you shouldn't be hanging around in your room too much! That being said, this hotel is extremely outdated. I was a little taken aback at how old the carpet, bathroom fittings and furnishings are. I paid $350 CHF (close to $700 AUD) for one night, and to be honest, I expected more. This is bare bones, no-frills accommodation. The room was musty, so I left the balcony doors open all night (and I'm not usually sensitive to smells). The bathroom is insanely tiny, you can't open the door more than halfway before it hits the toilet. The shower was straight-up 1970s. There is no lift (understandable, this is an old property in a little Swiss mountain town!), but after long travel days - pulling my 30kg suitcase up 4 flights of stairs was a complete struggle. All in all, I had a good stay, I slept well, and I appreciated the location and beautiful view - but I would pick a different property for next time unless they commit to a serious renovation.

And you're absolutely right, upgrades are due.We only purchased the hotel in February 2020, a few weeks before the pandemic and lockdowns, so we've had 3 years of financial losses to endure. 2020 was an absolute financial disaster, just being very honest with you.Once we return to a consistent and reasonable profit we will begin the upgrades we had planned to do in 2020, before the collapse of world tourism.But rest assured these plans are in place.In the meantime, we provide a very welcoming and clean hotel with a popular restaurant in one of the most beautiful locations on earth and we hope to welcome you again in future.DankeStephenco-owner

I am very happy we chose to stay at Hotel Oberland. It is just 5 minutes walk from the train station, has beautiful views and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Food from the restaurant was great and the room vas very comfortable.

We stayed for 2 nights in October. Hotel is a short walk from train and is centrally located. Our room was a corner room with a balcony overlooking the street, and the waterfalls were literally a stone's throw away. The view over the countryside was lovely. The room was a bit dated, and on the small side, but the washroom - I laughed out loud at how small it was. You could barely get inside the room and close the door behind yourself. Not a deal-breaker, but be warned. For the price that we paid to stay here, I honestly did expect a bit better of a room, but in all honesty, I'm not in Switzerland to stay in my room.

As a solo traveler, I always look for an inexpensive and minimalistic place to stay. Hotel Oberland was ideal for cost and had just enough for the room, without all the frills! I didn't expect a terrace and I was even happier when I got one with this place! I guess it's all about the simple things for me! :)

You can’t really beat the location of this hotel. It’s very close to the train station and there is a bus stop right outside that can take you further into the valley. There are 2 buildings and some rooms have a view of the valley and Wengen, while others have a view of the iconic waterfall. Maybe request if you have a preference. The restaurant was good- make a reservation with them when you check in during peak season as it gets very busy. Helpful enough staff. No early check in. The “luggage storage” is really just leaving it in the lobby. I’m happy to hear that the property is being renovated, as it is much needed (the bathroom was updated, but the rest of the room’s decor as well as the mattress need it.)

No view at all was not stated. Also no internet and the guest service didn’t even care at all. And also mold in washroom false advertising! Washroom was the worst! Very loud noises in the morning they should be ashamed renting out something like that!

Hotel's location was good. Room was neat and spacious. However, the hotel does not provide hot water kettle! The junior staff was nice and friendly but the senior staff was arrogant.
