The hotel is very good - clean, friendly and helpful staff, well cooked food which delivers a fairly basic menu with imagination and skilful cooking.
The leisure complex is likewise clean and well appointed (although the changing rooms were a bit confusing for me as without my specs I'm very short-sighted ,- bigger more prominent signage please)
The only criticism is that the restaurant, which is part of the bar, has nothing in it to absorb sound. Consisting entirely of hard surfaces, it was so noisy as to be quite uncomfortable in the evening when people had been drinking - breakfast wasn't so bad. Adding some soft furnishings: carpeting, curtains, cushioned chairs, would make a big difference.
