The location is good. Right on the edge of Chinatown, within blocks of good coffee, good donuts and yummy bagels. You can walk to the Brooklyn Bridge, downtown or Battery Park within 30 minutes.
The view is spectacular, the Manhattan Bridge lets out right in front of the hotel and there is a gorgeous arch that the traffic come through.
However, the hotel is dirty. They try to cover up the fact that it isn't very clean with air freshners. The AC smelled like cigarettes, I wore shoes in the room because the carpet was dirty. The bed was OK. The bathroom was passable, though the little shelf above the toilet was about to fall down the entire time.
My biggest issue was the door lock (not the deadbolt). We told them it wasn't all the way screwed to the door and they didn’t take care of it while we were there.
This isn't a "good" tier hotel, it's passable and that, simply because of the location. Please see the pictures.
