The outside of the property was terrible. It didn't even look open, because no one was at the office. The management was in a neighboring property. The room was old but clean. The management on staff at check-in was great. She even offered me a refund because of the situation. I decided to stay due to her kindness.

HORRIBLE
I was waiting to post this in hopes that I would get my deposit back but since I haven’t received my money back yet, I do have to write this review. This was the most rundown disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was a bullet casing on the stairs. When I got there the baseboards and door frames were missing. There was a hole from the air conditioner to outside. The TV was broken. The headboard fell down the wall as we were sleeping, and it felt like the floor was gonna fall out from underneath you. I’m actually going to be looking into getting my money back because it was so disgusting. The towels were dirty there was dust and drink spills on closet shelf because there was no table or counter. We didn’t even have a nightstand. We had a chair and a mini fridge and the light switches didn’t even work . run far away from this place.

WOULD AVOID BOOKING HERE AT ALL COSTS!!!! We booked and got put in the back building which looks like it could fall down at any moment. The room was absolutely DISGUSTING! The sheets had stains all over them, there were cob webs EVERYWHERE, dirt all over the walls, ceiling had dirty hand prints on it and the walls were cracked. The pictures on the add through expedia are of the other hotel that these people own The Alpine Inn right next door. We asked to move to the other hotel and they tried to tack on another $25 when we paid almost double than what one of the rooms at the Alpine were going for that night. It was absolutely horrid and a terrible experience.

Avoid if at all possible
This facility is pathetic. My guess is that they are just getting what they can until the property is torn down and redeveloped. Clearly there is no interest in spending any money on maintenance.

While. It a terrible place to stay it was not worth what I paid for it. But I guess that’s what happens when staying in Tahoe during the summer. It was a great location. Walking distance to the casinos. But it was not very clean. A coat of fresh paint and a set of new sheets would have gone a long way. Definitely not worth the midweek rate of $260 I paid.

Mediocre on a good day
Very confrontational at the check in, tried charging for a service dog. Rooms were meh at best, tv wasn't even hooked up.

Do not stay here. This place is disgusting and unkempt. Bed was made but there was hair in the "clean" bed sheets. Mattress had stains of unknown origins. There was trash and cleaning supplies left outside of rooms. This place looks like it's a halfway house.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. The walls had holes in it and wires coming out. The stairs were falling apart and a worker walked in on my naked. Not even a knock before. Worst place ever.

This place is pretty bad. Old and dirty. It blocks the entrance with a truck and only leave a tiny opening. The snow was not cleaned, more than foot deep to enter the stairway. Inside the room, a tiny light only cover a small area of the room. No clothes hanger, TV not work. Refrigerator is dirty. Toilet cover is loose and make huge noise. Beatifull location, excelent atention, but really bad clean room and they doesnt removed the snow earlier or the parking when i been here!!!
