Stayed here with friends for a concert at the arena. We did uber there but walked back. The walk is a half mile on a busy street and then up a hill to the hotel. There were traffic directors most of the way after the concert.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No safe in the room. The room does seem a little small the way the couch was situated. The staff was friendly, a little frazzled at check in as their computers were acting up. They resolved the issue quickly. There is a “bar” in the lobby which opened at 5pm. Limited selection and the desk girl was the bartender. Still very pleasant service, it just was not the typical hotel bar. There was a large variety of snacks and drinks, frozen meals in the lobby for purchase. We were able to order delivery after the concert. There is ample comfortable seating in the lobby and out back for hanging with friends.
The room had a tiny refrigerator, and a microwave. The tv was nice and swiveled towards the bed or the couch. I unfortunately was not impressed with the gym/pool area. It was small and stuffy. The gym looked clean but tight and very limited equipment, even for a hotel. The pool was small and very uninviting, did not look like the picture. This was disappointing as I wanted to get in a workout and swim in the AM, but decided to skip it.
Overall a decent one night stay. I would consider staying again for an event at the arena. There are 10 hotels close by which have competitive rates.
