Terrific place
The Coral Sands is definitely one of our favorite places. Always immaculately clean and comfortable, it’s a few steps away from the boardwalk and beach. Greta is always available to help with any needs we may have during our stay. We will return next year!

Short walk to boardwalk was great. Staff person was very friendly and accommodating. Only dislike was walls are thin, loud group somewhere in the vicinity, but it was a short length of time an to be fair it was pretty early for a Saturday night in OC. We had to go to bed early to get up at 4am for the MS bike ride, hopefully we didn't disturb anyone at that time! :)

Check in was easy and awesome. Property Manager Jeanie is GRRRRRREAT!!! Gave me a first floor room because I had knee replacement -101. Parking can be a challenge but there is an overflow parking area close by. They allowed our dog to stay. Everything is fresh and clean inside. New flooring and bathroom. I would stay here again and would recommend it to everyone.

Ok but wouldn’t go back.
Good location. But a bit outdated in main area. Not great beds and shower was very small. Could be neater in room. A but dinged up. Not crazy bout parking up against someone’s room and have then leaning in my car. Just not as well maintained as I expected for the costly price. Definitely not worth $200 night!

The Coral Sands motel is a nice lodging option within easy walking distance of the OC boardwalk. The room we got had no frills, but was clean and livable. The value for money was good compared to other motel/hotel options in this area.

The location of this property is Outstanding! The room was clean, and the bathroom was clean and had a good shower with very hot water. The room was not large or fancy, but nice enough for sleeping as we hardly spent any time there. So close to the beach and boardwalk, bike rentals and many restaurants. Downtown shopping is also close by.

Absolutely outstanding!! I’ve been coming for about 10 years. It’s so convenient. Boardwalk and beach just a block away. Room always clean and employees always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend. See you next year!!!

I stayed here years ago and it was nice which is why I booked with my children this past week. The location is great! This time, I am not having the same experience. The check in woman was very hospitable however the room is disgusting. There was some sort of substance on two of the pillows and the beds are sandy. The door is unsecured. The dead bolt does not work and the chain lock is literally out of the wall. During the day, you can see between the doorframe and door. I had to buy pillow cases to cover our pillows. Quite frankly, I am not sure what gets clean around here. There was 1/2 a roll of toilet paper so I went to the desk to ask for more. She was very kind and gave me 3 rolls. I told her I would put any excess under the sink and she told me not to because it could leak. Who knows what else I should have been expecting during our stay This place is also missing necessary outlets and is not up to code. I felt unsafe and was just appalled. In addition the wifi was so bad we were unable to use it therefore not having complete access to our phones. I did not want to worry my children so we stayed as it was only two nights and had no where else to go.

Great location with clean rooms. Two fridges!!! Nice place to stay if you want a 30 second walk to boardwalk and beach. Its a very busy area so not good if you want quiet.

Don’t stay here
This motel is not a great motel to stay at. The motel needs to be renovated badly, the laminate flooring was peeling up, there were holes in the ceiling, there was dirt in the corners, and there was about a half inch gap under the front door that leads right to the outside. What looked like black mold was in the ceiling corner in the bathroom and the AC filter needed replacement. If you are able to, please pay a little more money and stay somewhere else.

Booked last minute for one nifht. Front desk person was very nice. Room was clean and wifi connection good, was able to stream Netflix on our tablet. Would recommend and look forward to visiting again sometime this summer.

The property is very, very outdated. Parking is extremely limited and tight. As for the rooms, there are no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, which is unpleasant for a number of reasons. The mattresses on the beds are old, worm out, lumpy and incredibly uncomfortable.
