Dear Guest, Thank you for leaving a review of your stay with us. I am sorry to hear that your stay was soured by external noise disturbance. Unfortunately having centrally located apartments, the surrounding noise can be an issue at times, which is something that is out of our control. The toilet macerator in the apartment does make a noise when flushing, and i can confirm that this is normal for a macerator. We are required by building regulations to have these systems in certain apartments. Please accept our apologies for the disturbance this may have caused. In regards to your request for a quite room, we are only able to accommodate such request as long as availability permits. Hi Sean, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback following your recent stay with us. I am glad to see that on the whole you had a positive experience, we are proud to boast centrally located properties close to local amenities so are glad you appreciated that & of course your comfort is also key. Although Central House does not have a reception we do have a 24/7 hour Guest Services team who are happy to help at any time. Lastly, the apartments do have macerator pumps but the noise that they make should not cause any disruption - I will have this checked in the apartment you stayed in to make sure it is operating correctly. Dear Mr Karl, Than you for taking the time and writing this review. I have looked into your situation to find out what has happened. We were trying to contact you in order to make sure that you are aware of our booking procedure/terms and conditions which are also displayed on the booking site. We do require a copy of an ID from all guests staying and a security deposit prior check in, due to the fact that you have a booked a self check in property which has no front desk, so the above can only be done remotely by email. Regarding the amount not being refunded, as you have booked this trough a 3rd party website in this case Hotels.com, we were unable to cancel the booking for you, as only the guest who booked it is able to do such thing. We have encouraged you to do this. We have contacted Hotels.com in the morning following your booking, however they confirmed that they did not had any communication from your side and this has been charged as a no show.
