No housekeeping provided. We were told if we needed toiletries, towels or trash removal we had to come to the front desk and bring the trash or leave in the rooms. Because there was no housekeeping services we asked for a discount on our rooms for the 3 days. The answer was no. We have made the baronne a frequent stay in New Orleans when we come for family trips and cruises, and never experienced this issue. The hotel use to have a little coffee shop, seats and tv to get a snack or something, but it’s been closed for awhile now. We dealt with it, but when no housekeeping wasn’t available and no discount, that was not ok. The explanation for no housekeeping was due to their Covid protocols which none of our family members at other hotels experienced. We were given the info upon check in with the opportunity to stay or not, and for this late change, the price and availability would be an expensive last minute gamble of not having any reasonable accommodations. So we stayed, and made the best of it, and for that we were very disappointed.

Very very loud. We were awoken every evening with extremely loud partying guest’s despite signs being posted regarding quiet hours. Could also hear baby screaming in room next door one night. Hotel did not seem full, could have spaced guests better. I would go on but I’m exhausted

Away from craziness of french quarter but close enough tonwalkntonit, just crossnover Canal street and you are in french quarter. Staff helped reserve a taxi pickup at 2am for us. I didn't see anynofnthere restrictionsnopen though. Plenty of places to eat when you walk out.

The bathroom tub was dirty. The towels were hard and rough. Had bugs in the bathroom. No microwave in the room when advertisement said fridge and microwave. Door had big gap from the floor, literally someone could lay on the floor and see in our room if they wanted too.

Hotel was very nice in an old world kind of way. I found it stange they still had not resumed daily housekeeping. If you needed towels you would need to get them from front desk.

The location of the property was perfect for our needs. However, I had to return to the desk twice because the key card did not unlock the door to the room. Also, the room smelled like an ungodly combination of boiled cabbage and flatulence.

Room was dirty and smelly. Fridge in restroom. The bed was stained. Bedbugs. The minute we got there we checked in using a card we only use for travel and it was hacked within 5 minutes with three unauthorized purchases. We suspect the lady at the counter. Nobody else around. We had to cancel our card. It was the worst experience. I should have paid a bit more for a better hotel. Homeless sleeping at entrance of hotel. Ver disappointed.

This is hands down the worst place I have ever stayed. I was robbed by hotel staff. I left my Patagonia winter jacket and Nike sneakers in the closet after check out and once I realized I left my items I circled back. I was rudely told by both staff and management that my items were not recovered. The front desk staff didn’t have access and told me that the manager would be the one to help me the following day (after my departure) but instead the manager tried to gaslight my experience and tell me that I left my items in an Uber and proceeded to hang up on me twice. The whole interaction was bizarre. In addition to this the hotel lobby reeks of musty scents. The room is no better. The walls are paper thin… you can hear everyone and EVERYTHING. The bathroom walls aren’t ventilated well so there’s mold on the walls. This is a HORRIBLE hotel with HORRIBLE service. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere you will not be robbed and ultimately spend 3x the cost of your stay to rebuy your stolen items. There is no accountability and even Expedia is completely useless in helping me “recover” my items.

This is an old and dark hotel. My room was small and had no windows. There were no services in the hotel- no bar, restaurant, store and the gym is very small and poorly equipped.

We arrived early due to coming from the carnival cruise. I called months in advance and the week prior to our arrival to request an early check in, which they approved over the phone. Upon our arrival they were very rude, did not have a room available until 2:45 pm. We waited over 8hrs for a room to be available. They also were not very polite with us leaving our luggage. They did take down other’s information to contact them if a room became available but did not ask me at all or gave me that option. The location is about 2 blocks from bourbon street, there’s a restaurant and subway nearby. It’s a nice location but note that you will be able to hear anything and everything in your room from other guests when they are heading to there room and from the lobby.

Staff was super nice. We got there early and the guy checking us in let me park and stored our luggage. We went and had lunch and he called me an hour later to tell me my room was ready, still 1.5 hours before we were supposed to check in.

Lots of maintenance was required, the interior color and set up was so scary, cold and deathly. I was so uncomfortable staying in a room like torture rooms in movies. Also the cleaning was not done from the previous guest.

First time staying here. The walls in my room were paper thin unfortunately we could hear every word to ladies were saying from 6:30-9:30am when we were trying to sleep. When I called the front desk they couldn’t help me because there was no other staff person there and she couldn’t leave the desk. I would not stay there again.

Location was perfect for walking and exploring the city . It’s close to canal (main strip ) and Boutbon . Room is perfect for what we needed . They were able to let us check in early and hold our luggage until they could .

The staff was very friendlt and greetable, upon entering my room 428 the floor had not been swept or mopped , there was dust behind the beds. The sheets had not been changed you could see spots on the sheets along with someone hair. The comfirter nearest the window had dried blood on it. The bath tub was dirty in which I cleaned myself. The ceiling had mold on it. I have stayed at anotger wyndham before and it was much more cleaner than this one. Also people staying at this one should be told if they are traveling in a big suv that they will have to park in the parking garage and pay. I had no problems parking there with the exception on the day I was leaving a car was broken into. I never saw security sitting or on the site the enture time I was there. The money you pay fir parking people need to feel that their vehicle is secure and safe.

Overall, it was below average. Duvet insert discolored. Phone and charging ports not plugged in but plugs were nailed to wall in position that made it impossible to plug in so unable to use either during stay. One elevator out of order during week-long stay and the other elevator was dirty for 3 days.

I love the hotel! I was able to check-in earlier than planned, so that worked out well for me. The room were cleaned and comfortable. Unfortunately it seem like part of it is under construction, but a very beautiful hotel. I definitely enjoyed my stay!!!!

The hotel was in a great location and was only a couple minute walk to both Canal and Bourbon St. Security was also great and they did not let random people not staying in the hotel wonder around. The only compliant is the room was a little dirty. The first thing I noticed when walking in was like the floor looked like it had not been swept at all. I went down the next morning to let them know and was told that they would send housekeeping. We came back from being out all day for our room to be exactly as we left it. During the stay they didn’t have any housekeeping at all, so I guess that’s something you need to request.
