The hallways and stairwells smelled like someone had been smoking weed in there. There was a dog barking all hours of the night, that was coming from within the hotel. The key cards didn't work half of the time and staff had to open the doors for us.

It has bed bugs and the manager refused to give refund even tho we didn't stay the night.. DO NOT GO, AVIOD AT ALL COST

Well, it's Bellefontaine. The side door didn't always lock, place smelled like pot, homeless sleeping in the lobby, bugs in the room, and safety hazards throughout.

Stay away until they get a cleaning staff
Our room was filthy, hair all over the bathroom and I don’t think the hotel owns a vacuum. Not a good experience

The door to room doesn’t fit the frame. You literally can see the outside hall while standing in the room. Arms to chair are ripped and chair itself is overwhelmingly filthy. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned before we arrived and we didn’t have enough towels. The water in the shower will not go down.

Spent two nights, overall was good, originally the tub drain was stopped up with unknown goop and created a 2-in backwash during my shower. I complained to the front desk and it was fixed within a few hours. I liked the television channels and those selections, but the remote did not match the TV and was extremely difficult to navigate the channels. I eventually gave up.

The room was dirty, it seems like carpet hasn't be vacuumed for months. The were noises during the night. Stairs were very very dirty. A/C was turned off for long period of time.

Overall we had a great stay. Excellent breakfast and good wifi. The lobby was very clean and modern. Unfortunately, our bathroom was obviously not thoroughly cleaned as there were hairs on the floor and in the tub when we arrived, and the inside of the toilet bowl we not cleaned properly. But the room itself was very clean, the bed was comfortable, all sheets and towels were clean.

My stay was good until i experienced something in my bed that needs a exterminator. I will not say on here. This is the motel i always stay at n probably from here on out i will stay at some other hotel until further notice.

Rooms were okay, not real clean, so you can tell house keeping only has so much time in each room between check out/in to do the necessary needs, the trash out side has not been taken away the whole week. But for being short staffed they try to make you stay as comfortable as possible, The girls really go above and beyond to help when and where they can. Over all if you’re looking for a place to relax and get some shut eye it’s perfect, if you’re looking for the 4/5 star experience/expectation..you’ll only disappoint yourself.

Overall it was a good stay, I can’t complain. Does the place need fixed up a bit, yes. BUT I honestly believe they are short staffed and as a former supervisor for housekeeping it takes more than just one person to get the rooms to societies current expectations of the world. It’s also not fair to blame the staff for previous occupants that do not know how to follow rules and burn stuff (in a non smoking hotel) or break things just cause it does not belong to them. So over all I think this place is a good place to stay. The staff that is here is super friendly and they do try to help the best that they can!

Super 8 is a Super NO
The 2 staff persons I saw for check in and out were very pleasant. It is an older property with the usual run down appearance. The cleanliness could have been improved. However, the beds are what brings my review rock bottom. It was without a doubt the WORST night I have ever had in a hotel. Mattresses were hard and strangely loud, I don’t know what they were filled with but I would guess newspapers. It was impossible to sleep and we were stiff and sore the next morning. I spent part of the night in the chair which was also not comfortable. The wifi would not connect and the tv was slow. Breakfast? I don’t know, it ends early. Bottom line: Absolutely no more Super 8 stays for me and I will be very cautious about Wyndham hotels in general.

The hotel was not very clean. The hallways were dingy and smelled like smoke. There were very shady guys lurking around the parking lot. The guy who checked us in wouldn’t look up from his phone while he played video games. The room was ok (not what I requested)… the beds were super squeaky and old feeling. The worst part was having three single pillows for each bed… the pillows were the size of couch pillows and not comfortable.
