Be aware!! Their system has been down for about 6 weeks. What this means: check in took forever, cash only at the bar, restaurants on the property. We stayed for a total of 4 nights, and while the property was beautiful, we were inconvenienced by their system being “down”. A few other things that we noticed; if you’re an early riser, beach chairs or umbrellas will not be set up by the time you get to the beach. Beach access is limited and be aware, it is not a private beach!! You will have people not staying at the hotel setting up right next to you. If you happen to be there on the weekend, prepare to be on a packed beach. Going back to the cash only situation - this was not mentioned during check in. We tried to order drinks at the pool bar and were told cash only. Bartender failed to mention there’s an ATM inside the restaurant, so not knowing, my fiance had to leave the resort to find an ATM outside. Service could definitely have been better and again, staff could’ve tried harder to accommodate guests. Next time we’re in Key West, we’ll be staying at the Hilton next door. Never again…
