Third time, first time disappointed..
My first time stay here and first time i got disappointed. The pool area (bathroom as well) not well maintened as it used to be. Got the seaview villa for one night with the idea of extend my stay after breakfast and that was the biggest disappointment. Breakfast is not a buffet anymore and that's understandable.. Arrived at 9:30.. Made a order.. Went to take coffee for me and my gf but the machine had no water.. Had to wait 5 min for the refill and that's ok.. Went to get coffee once ready but at the same time we got the food so i got mine first because my gf got a soup and wanted to eat that first.. When she went to get coffee, they already cleaned the machine and took away the yogourt area (10:04!!!)..the staff was just playing phone and after we could get attention they just say "cannot, machine clean already".. Well advise before ? Just 10:04.. We were the only table for breakfast.. Unacceptable.. Moved in another place for the remaining 5 nights.. For the price paid i expected a better treatment.. A bit disappointed about the room and beach condition as well.. I hope they will be back how they used to be

Great value for money
We had a great stay also this second time we booked a villa on this hotel. The staff is very friendly and assist you as best they can. They are Quick and respinsive, always with a smile. Would also reccommend their great restaurant and roof top for the sunsets..

Bra hotell! Gratis hämtning och lämning till piren! Fina rum, fin strand, bra frukost! Öl och mat lite billigare än resorterna i närheten! Negativt var att baren var stängd första kvällen så då kunde man inte någon drink på hotellet! Stannade två nätter, rekommenderas!

Struttura bella con bungalows sulla spiaggia e camere sulla piscina.camere molto grandi con aria condizionata. La spiaggia potrebbe essere tenuta meglio, effettuando maggior pulizia. Colazione varia e ottima. Bella piscina. Unico neo il riordino delle camere:o ti alzi all'alba perche' le fanno entro le 9 o non riposi il pomeriggio perche' le fanno dalle 14 in poi, e con quel caldo dalle 14 alle 16, a meno che non sei in escursione, puoi solo stare in camera con l'aria condizionata accesa. Ottima la cena con barbecue sulla spiaggia a prezzi bassi. Molto gentile il ragazzo alla reception e tutto il personale in generale.Comodo il molo di attracco da dove partono le barche ve!oci per la terra ferma. In generale esperienza positiva e koh mak e' fantastica un vero paradiso!

ส่วนตัวชอบ ร.ร. นี้คับ อยู่ที่ท่าเรือเลย เราไปเรือลีลาวดี จะลงที่ท่าเรือของ ร.ร. สะดวกไม่ต้องเดินทางต่อ ร.ร. ดูแลเราดี การบริการดี สระว่ายน้ำโอเค แต่ตอนลงเล่นทะเล ในทะเลมีแตนทะเลมาก ทีแรกไม่รู้ไม่ไเ้ทาน้ำมันมะพร้าวเลยเจ็บตัวกัน บบรยากาศดี อาหารไม่แพง แถมถูกกว่าร้านข้างนอกด้วย เราไปตอนสงกรานต์ มีปัญหาภัยแล้ง น้ำไม่ไหลเป็นระยะ กับ ทีวีไม่มีสัญญาณดูอะไรไม่ได้เลย ก็อเข้าใจครับว่าเป็นเกาะ เราเช่ามอเตอไซด์ของรีสอร์ทขี่รอบเกาะวันละ200 พนักงานและเจ้าของ ร.ร. ต้อนรับดีครับ โดยรวมชอบที่นี่ครับ

พนักงานสุภาพ ขออะไรก็คอยจัดให้ ยกเว้นเรื่องน้ำใช้ เพราะเข้าพักช่วงหน้าแล้ง ทางที่พักจัดหาให้ไม่ทัน แต่ก็ไม่ได้แจ้งลูกค้าว่าจะช่วยแก้ปัญหา เรื่องไม่มีน้ำอาบอย่างไร ไปดำน้ำกลับมาบ่ายสองโมงกว่า ดองเค็มจนเกือบ 3 ทุ่ม เดินทางถามที่ lobby 3 รอบก็บอกว่ารออีก 30 นาทีทุกครั้งจนหงุดหงิด จึงหาทางแก้ไขด้วยการให้เข้าไปอาบน้ำในบ้านพักที่ว่าง และมีน้ำไหล

The location was great , right on the main strip with lots of shops and restaurants. All staff were fantastic and very helpful. Scooters on site to rent was convenient and we could explore whole island, which is amazing rooms were very clean and nice. All and all we really enjoyed our stay with them.

Nice place good location
It’s a nice hotel, next to the pier and close to some bars and restaurants. Friendly staff. There’s a rooftop bar with a sunset view. Can’t go wrong staying here. Clean, spacious rooms.

Great hotel with friendly staff in a good location
Very nice and helpful staff. They did accommodate all our request. The hotel is situated at the best Beach. A small local street behind the hotel with also good restaurants. We are in the hotel every day, and the food was very good and cheap. Would stay here again for sure!!

Hotelli on paikoin hieman ikääntynyt, esimerkiksi rantavillat (jotka kuitenkin varsin mukavia!) Uuttakin hotellissa on, kuten kattobaari, ja ilmeisesti varsinaisen hotellin puolen huoneet on uusittu hiljan. Sijaitsee keskellä ok rantaa, joka hotellista länteen päin on tosin varsin roskainen. Hotellin edessä on venelaituri, jolta saa kyydin mantereelle - mutta ei esim. Koh Changille. Miinusta aamiaisesta, joka oli aika luokaton.

Stay was ok room nice except no water pressure and lighting poor no tv channels except few Thai. Breakfast same each day no variety but sufficient. Restaurant mediocre. Will try different resort next time and shorter stay. Beaches lots of plastic rubbish washed up each day which is a shame.

The beautiful island of Ko Mak
We really enjoyed our relaxing beach holiday on the beautiful island of Ko Mak. Of the three hotels on our trip this was our favourite. (Other hotels were the 4* Awa Resort on Ko Chang and Choaloa Tosang Beach Resort on Choa load beach on the mainland). We stayed in a beach front bungalow (S6) which had stunning views across the bay, and open onto an immaculately maintain lawn leading directly onto the beach. Rooms are a bit dated but spacious and well laid out, generous size bathroom with perfectly adequate shower. Hint - the room safe is in the little cupboard underneath the bedside table. Best point is location, location, location. Stunning setting, restaurants and shops , even a coin operated laundrette just outside the entrance. The restaurants just outside the hotel served the best Thai food compared to Ko Chang and Choa Loa.. Do note - the island only has approx. 1000 residents. There are no banks., ATM's or currency exchange on the island. There are no cars - only mopeds and bikes and the pickup truck taxis which charge you 50 Baht per person to go anywhere on the island This hotel also had the best WiFi of the three hotels. Getting there - the Ko Chang and Ko Mak websites have up to date information. We were able to book the ferries on-line back here in the UK and "Live Chat" with our questions. Transfers all arranged online with Ko Chang Transfers who we would recommend.

Great family stay on Koh Mak
Very clean large family room with beautiful sea view that you can choose to have cleaned if required. But it is not done if you don't leave your key with them. They explain this on check.in. Free shuttle service to and from the boat pier. Food pretty good overall and breakfast was great. They have a beach BBQ in the evenings which was quite nice. Beach generally lovely but lots of debris washed up on certain parts. Makes you realise how much waste we tourists generate and that we should be better at tidying up after ourselves. Free wifi was overall good but a bit patchy in the room on occasion. Staff generally friendly and nice. Would recommend if you plan to visit Koh Mak.

Riktigt fint hotell med bra placering. De kom och hämtade oss från piren som vi blev avsläppta på. God mat och frukost. Personalens Engelska är inte super men efter en stunds förklarande förstog de det mästa. Rekomenderas starkt

Gut gelegen,in die Jahre gekommen,schlecht geführt
Altes Hotel, das leider schlecht geführt wird und immer weiter herunter kommt. Die Zimmer sind OK, halbwegs sauber und groß. Der Roomservice unter aller Sau und nur auf Anforderung vorhanden, ansonsten passiert NICHTS. Der Pool ist enttäuschend klein und so stark gechlort, dass mir die Augen brannten, ohne drin gewesen zu sein. Das Frühstück ist, abgesehen von netten Eiern und Eierspeisen, eine Katastrophe. Die Lage ist allerdings gut, wenn der Strand auch widerlich verdreckt ist (wofür das Hotel nichts kann, obwohl das Personal zur Strandsäuberung nicht das Attribut "Reinigungs-" sondern eher "Ich-kratz-mal-ein-bisschen-rum-" Service verdient hat.

เป็นโรงแรมที่มีท่าเรือ ทุกๆคนจะต้องมาลงที่นี่ ไม่ว่าจะอยู่โรงแรมอื่นๆในเกาะก็ตาม สภาพชายหาดรอบๆดูไม่น่าเล่นน้ำ มีเศษขยะตามทราย แต่วิวรอบๆสวยเหมาะที่จะถ่ายรูปพนักงานต้อนรับให้การต้อนรับและคำแนะนำดีมาก สถานที่ดูเก่าและมีคราบดินติดอยู่บ้าง แต่ในห้องพักสะอาดดี

Personal bol maximalne neochotny, pri kazdej poziadavke sa tvarili ako by sme ich obtazovali. Nespravali sa priatelsky. Izby boli ciste, avsak hotel bol dost zanedbany, taktiez jeho okolie (vela odpadkov na plazi). Ranajky boli skromne a nie vzdy doplnili jedlo pre dalsich hosti ked sa nieco zjedlo. Poloha hotela bola dobra, nachadzal sa hned na plazi. Prve dva dni bola voda v bazene zelena, takze sa nedal vyuzivat. Bolo by taktiez vhodne upozornit hosti na Vasej stranke ze v mori sa neda bezpecne kupat nakolko je tam problem so sasankami. Moje hodnotenie co sa tyka tohoto hotela... zle, nikdy by som sa tam nevratila.
