They say they have a heated pool but its not heated and its unclean. Our rooms floor was sandy n dirty, our shower wouldnt get hot. I askd for new towels twice and they didnt bring any.

Mold in the shower, smelt gross. I heard other guests talking about being overcharged on their deposits. There was a party in one of the rooms happening and staff did nothing to stop it.

Checked in just before midnight and intend to be out by 0700ish… had to pay a parking fee for that period of time even though there is ample parking. I can understand 24 or more stays but to be charged this is irritating. The deposit should be charged at time of booking… or offer a reduced based upon the guest’s period of staying. Especially when it’s a 3-5 day wait for a refund when we are in essence only staying 7 hours

Only downside was that we were first given room that was dirty and had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. But the guy was kind enough to give us another room that was closer to elevator for convenience. Hotel looked clean and relatively safe. It was close to Universal studios which is where my family and I were going. Overall 4/5. Cleanliness 3/5, definitely a lot of potential with proper accountability towards cleaners.

A lot of things in the room didnt work, very loud in the king suite, can hear EVERYTHING from outside noise to hearing into other peoples rooms. Floors felt sticky on my bare feet and there was a very strong chemical smell in the room

This hotel overall was very clean and the rooms were comfy. When I first arrived I was a little surprised and upset about the parking fee but it turned out great because the next day the gentleman at the front desk was quite nice when I asked him about how long I could park there after checkout since we were already checking out and since we had arrived the previous night we were going to visit the park, one last time. I won’t say how long he stated because it might be different for everyone else but trust me, it was worth it. Parking at Hollywood is $30 per day before 5PM but this hotel is walking distance from there so you can do the math.

Property is clean and beds are comfortable but they charge 27 a night to park in their lot ( unusual for a motel with no amenities and no alternative options for parking near by) and the heater in my room was broken. My room was 63 all night. Thankfully the front desk staff was friendly and brought me blankets. For the price, it was under standards.

The property is close to Universal, but more of a short Uber ride instead of walking. The staff were really accommodating. There is a heavy scent by the elevator (peppermint?) that might annoy people that don’t like strong scents. Overall, the front staff, location, and price would be the reason I return.
