The Sixmiles Guesthouse was very thorough in making sure you know where to go and how to get to the hotel. Peter was very welcoming and the room was spacious with a double bed and everything needed to have a comfortable stay. There are two bathrooms with toilets, access to kitchen and appliances as well as individual locks on each room. Down the street was The Mall of Berlin as well as many restaurants just around the corner.

hote très agréable et accueillant. Très discret pour le reste du séjour. Je ne l'ai croisé qu'à mon arrivée. Logement très propre et spacieux. Vraiment parfait. Mieux qu'un hotel car on a le confort d'un appartement avec accès à la cuisine.

72hrs in Berlin
I only stayed 72hrs in Berlin but it was Love at first sight. I fell in love with the city and Sixmiles was the perfect place to recover after long days of sightseeing. The guesthouse is located in the city centre few hundreds meters from the Branderburg Gate and connections are good to the rest of the city. The place is clean with all the necessities someone need and Peter is a really helpful host. The guesthouse is not a 5* Hotel but for the value it is more than perfect.

Hotel direkt in der Innenstadt
Ich war sehr begeistert - perfekte Location in Stadtmitte, sehr netter Empfang, tolle Küche (falls man selbst kochen möchte), alles sehr sauber, gemütliches Bett. 2 Toiletten für 5 Gäste; nicht perfekt aber war für mich kein Problem, da nie besetzt. Ich würde dieses Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen.

einfach und empfehlenswert - wenn jemand da ist
Das Guesthouse ist gut gelegen, gleich in der Nähe einer U-Bahn Station und in Gehdistanz zum Brandenburger Tor. Der generelle Eindruck ist gut, obwohl es mit dem Einchecken nicht geklappt hat. Der Betreiber täte gut daran, wenigstens seine Mobilnummer zu publizieren, wenn er schon nicht präsent ist. Sonst ist die Unterkunft einfach und empfehlenswert.

Sehr zentral und alles vorhanden.
Tolle Unterkunft. Großes gemütliches Bett. Ruhig und sehr zentral. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, falls man mal was vergessen hat.

Comoda posizione, confortevole, pulito.
Posizione comoda al collegamento con aeroporto e metropolitana. A due passi dalla porta di brandemburgo. Struttura pulita e confortevole , costituita da cinque camere e due bagni puliti. Ci ritornerei.

Todo estuvo perfecto, el dueño del apartamento súper amable, el lugar tiene excelente ubicación puedes caminar hacia muchos lugares importantes para visitar. El apartamento súper completo, limpio y muy cómodo.

BEAWARE
I do NOT recommend anyone stay at this place. The guy would NOT be flexible when my flight changed and I ended up getting in after check out time. He sent a passive aggressive email saying that I would have to find another place to stay and he would not refund me. It ended up costing me an additional $49 x2 for both tickets I had to change and $25 x2 for transport to a near by airport (overall cost me 150 USD additional). That's not all... 5 double rooms had to share 1 - YES ONE - bathroom. It was expensive to book hotels when I looked at booking this place. Honestly, for the price I would have been more comfortable in a hostel. He has random notes posted all over the apartment and other guests staying are loud. It's not worth the value. He also has a 3 page manual posted on his website (which was NOT emailed to me). If I would have had that emailed to me within 24 hours of the booking I would have canceled this reservation. He also will not respond to phone calls or text messages. So you if you need to reach him you'll have to go search all over the internet for his email address and HOPE that he responds.

Hyggeligt og intimt guesthouse, rent og ordentligt. Behjælpelig vært. Der er 2 badeværelser, så det er ingen problem at dele med de øvrige gæster. Vi vil klart anbefale det til andre.

Pas un hotel!
Beaucoup trop cher pour la prestation!! Sixmiles n'est pas un hôtel mais simplement dans des chambres dans un appartement. Aucune signalisation de la guesthouse à l'extérieur et à l'intérieur du bâtiment, donc si on ne va pas chercher les instructions pour trouver l'appartement sur le site de Sixmiles, on est dans l'incapacité de trouver l'appartement. Lorsque les 5 chambres sont occupées, cela doit poser des problèmes d'occupation des 2 douches et WC non séparés.

Very well located, quiet, and clean.
This a very conveniently located guest house in Berlin for anyone who wishes to explore important tourist sights. The site of the hotel in built on top of where the former Reich's Chancellery was located! I stayed there for 7 days in September, 2015. The rooms and common areas were tidy and clean. My room was quite large. There is a spacious well stocked kitchen. The shared bathrooms were modern, sanitary, and I didn't have to compete for access. The furnishings are basic, with ample use of the IKEA aesthetic. This gave the place an efficient proletarian look, reminiscent of the former East Germany, where in fact the place is located. Overall, it was a decent value and I would possibly stay there again. This is not a place where you would want to spend your honeymoon. :)

Great location, clear instructions to the hotel, reasonable laundry services, self-serve kitchen, fast wifi. Although only 2 bathrooms with 5 guest rooms, there was no problem using bathroom when needed.

Could be friendlier and less noisy
A remarkable location. The only thing is that throughout correspndence and then the stay I didn't get a sense of friendliness, especially the notes left around. The room was spacious and served its purpose. The thing with the rooms was the spaces below the doors and the thickness of the walls meant you could hear everything. This was an issue for trying to sleep and relax, and privacy, you wondered if others could hear your conversations, not that ours were very interesting.

Great Location, No private bath
The house located in heart of Berlin, near to subway, mall and tourist places. But the Guest house is a apartment actually and you need share the bathroom/hall/kitchen with other guests, I am still a hotel guy want a private bath so I would not prefer such kind of guest house in future

Geheimtipp für alle, die ein Zimmer in zentraler, zugleich aber ruhiger Lage suchen. Das Ganze gleicht eher einer Studenten-WG oder Pension. Man teilt sich Bad und Küche, hat aber ansonsten sein "eigenes Reich" mit freiem WLAN. Die Vermieter sind im Gespräch sehr nett, halten sich sonst aber dezent im Hintergrund. Klasse die zentrale Lage in Berlin-Mitte nicht weit vom Tiergarten, wo man/frau wunderbar joggen kann. :)

Nice guesthouse in Berlin
This was a nice place to stay in a convenient location. It was very clean, tidy and contained everything I needed during my stay. Peter (the host) was friendly and helpful, however, be sure to note that it is a guesthouse (read details carefully before booking so there are no surprises), it is not a hotel. As such, there are some rules of engagement that you'll need to follow to ensure smooth arrival; for example, your check-in time must be arranged in advance. All of that is clearly explained on their website which will be emailed to you in advance of arrival. Be sure to print out and read the arrival instructions before arriving in Berlin, it will make everything easier. Overall happy with my choice, would stay here again.

Room was big and very clean. Has everything you need. Very quite at night. Felt like home. Owner Peter was very nice and helpful. I was unable to arrive in Berlin on time due to train strike in Germany but Peter compensated me and allowed me to stay one extra night even though it's not his fault.

Loved it. Great place, great location.
Guesthouse is very clean, there was never a problem with the shared toilet or shower, they were always clean and mostly available. Loved the way it is decorated, really made me feel compatible. Location is great, 5 minute walk from lots of Berlin's attractions, lots of places to see in any direction you choose to go.

見つけにくいホテルです。
とても便利な場所にあるホテルです！ 中央駅へのアクセスも楽でした。 部屋も広く快適です。　アパートをリフォームしてホテルにしているイメージです。 ホテルを見つけるのに苦労しました。 入口などに目印がなく、どこにホテルがあるかわからなかったです・・・・ たまたま、スタッフの人がウロウロさがしている私に声をかけてくれたので見つけることができましたが 本当にわかりませんでした。。。。 事前に確認をしたほうがいいかと思います。 ただし、そこ以外はとても楽でのんびりすごせました。 部屋にはテレビがないのです。 無料Wifiも快適でした。 また、タオルも用意されていました。使用後、変えてほしい場合はスタッフに伝えると変えてくれるそうです。 スタッフの人が常時いるわけではないので、何かあった時の連絡の取り方も事前に確認を★

5 stars for 6 miles
Perfect location, close to everything, the room was large, clean, comfortable. The kitchen area was fine, you can help yourself to coffee and tea. The two bathrooms mean that there is never a problem. Very quite area despite being centrally located. Plus bike hire just across the road. It is the perfect place to explore Berlin on a budget.

立地がとても良いゲストハウスです。 場所が分かりにくいのが難点ですが、説明をよく読めば大丈夫でした。 バスルームは供用ですが、バスタブ付きなので良かったです。 供用キッチンでは、コーヒー、紅茶は自由に飲めて、助かりました。 いわゆる「ホテル」ではありませんが、立地を考えれば、かなりリーズナブルだと思います。

Vi havde et udmærket ophold på Sixmiles Guesthouse, men vi synes ikke, at servicen står mål med prisen på ca. 650 kr. per nat. Guesthouset ligger centralt i Berlin tæt på mange af de store seværdigheder i byen (Brandenburger Tor, Rigsdagen, Checkpoint Charlie, mm.), og det var meget rart som førstegangsbesøgende til Berlin. Værelserne var helt fine - rene og rummelige. Til gengæld var de uden eget bad og toilet, morgenmad var ikke inkluderet, check in begrænset til tidrummet 9:00 til 21:00 (omend vi fik lavet en aftale om sent check in, da vores fly først landede kl. 22:30) og bagageopbevaring ikke en mulighed. Set i det lys synes vi, at prisen er en smule pebret.

Hej Stig, Vi er ikke et hotel, men et guesthouse. Dvs. familievirksomhed og vi skal også have fri en gang i mellem. Vi er meget klare omkring de fælles badeværelser og ingen morgenmad. Til gengæld er der et godt køkken og kaffe/the. Jeres weekend i Berlin var samtidigt med Berlin Marathon og mit guesthouse ligger 500 meter derfra - det betyder at priserne ligger anderledes højere. Men for jer som ikke deltog, kan det virke ulogisk. For de øvrige gæster i lejligheden gav det nok bedre mening, når man har løbet 42 kilometer og bare gerne vil hjem og i bad. God dag til jer og tak fordi i tog jer tiden til at anmelde.

Absolutely wonderful stay!
Peter is a really friendly and helpful host. My partner and i felt right at home from the start. He was very welcoming and the apartment was spotless. Very pleased with the booking. Will stay at the same place again and recommend it to our friends!
