단풍 성수기 시즌이어서 인지 객실이 만석에 가까웠고 배정받은 객실 상태도 좋지 않았습니다. 호텔 정문 근처러 담배 피우는 사람들도 많고 아이들과 함께하는 가족여행 투숙으로는 적절하지 않았던 것 같습니다.

We were given a room outside of the main building. I guess a cottage room. The room had a smell, the bathtub was clogged when you took a shower, the water was not hot and the ceiling looked liked it had been patched and painted over ten thousand times. The blinds were torn and there were no curtains at the windows. Our room was horrible and we will never stay there again!

We did not realize the Hotel was right at the entrance to the gorge. It was very convenient. We were there off season, but staff and dining was taken care of

It's a lovely hotel. Showing its age a little. For older and/or infirm guests, an elevator would be helpful, or at least a bellhop to carry one's bags. But the staff are great, the location is fantastic, the restaurant/pub serves good meals, the rooms are comfortable (windows that actually open!). It's a 4/5 for me.

I traveled with my husband and 2 kids. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, although it is clearly an older building it was still very cozy amd quiet during our stay. Our room offered amazing views of the mountains and was conveniently located within walking distance of the natural bridge. The staff was also very friendly during our stay. I wouldnt recommend the breakfast buffet, as it is expensive for what it is.

We were looking forward to our stay however when it was time to rest my wife noticed an odd smell on our bed and pillows, but we were sto that we didn’t check what it was until the morning, came to find out, our sheets were dirty and pillow cases had not been changed. I politely reported to the hotel staff and requested new sheets and pillows. I was told no problem, we will take care of it. came back to the rolm that afternoon to find out no one had been in our room so I called and asked again and got the same response that someone would take care of it. We went out for dinner and when we came back to our room, nothing again. At this point I was upset however I called the front desk again and was told house keeping staff is gone for the day but they would do what they could to get us some new sheets and pillows. Got a call back and was told all they had was clean pillow cases because hotel was full. I do appreciate what the night agent did but we had to sleep on dirty sheets. WhenI checked out the hotel gave me about $60.00 credit which I didn’t ask and don’t think it was enough for making someone sleep in a dirty bed. I felt ignored and would not return again nor recommend.

Two people at front desk when we checked in, man was on the phone, lady didn't even acknowledge us. Hotel is really old, not updated, food in the restaurant was absolutely terrible. Our steaks and mashed potatoes must have been microwaved because they were inedible.

This was our first time here. We visited the natural bridge caverns, and the park across the way. It was very close to both places. The staff was friendly, attentive and gave great recommendations for places to visit and eat close by. The bar staff was friendly and made great cocktails as well. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I forgot my hairdryer but they had one in the room and also had extra amenities at the desk that we forgot like toothpaste. We will definitely book this place again for a weekend getaway.

We stopped here overnight on our way to FL. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were extremely friendly. We appreciated being able to eat on the property and the hotel’s access to Natural Bridge State Park.

The staff were very professional and helpful. The room was spacious. Great location lots to see. Highly recommend for a weekend visit. The Natural Bridge was beautiful. We went on a couple of hikes including Blue Ridge trail.

Hotel was historic, but still more run down than expected. Cable was out in room, and you could not regulate room temperature. It was uncomfortably hot and windows couldnt be opened. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very nice, especially front desk.

Most of the hotel did not have heat. Our room was 55 degrees and they gave us a space heater. The phones didn't work in our room and we had to keep going downstairs to try and sort through this issue. We finally moved late at night. Poorly managed. Very unhappy staff, just unfortunate. Cannot recommend.

This property was great but the rooms need updating and the heat cooling units need updating. But it’s clean. The lobby the restaurant and tavern were beautiful and nice and food was good. Will come back

Beautiful area, despite the coldn rain. Perfect place to stay when the Natural Bridge was the purpose of the visit. The annex area hadburt out bulbs making check in after dark a bit uncomfortable. The drain in the tub was very slow. The breakfast option at booking was uncear. I would. not recommend adding as you can purchase breakfast from the restaurant.

This was just a overnight stay while traveling. The hotel is quiet majestic when you drive up to it. The reception desk area as well as the restaurant and tavern also impressive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. No issues there. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was very good. Ordered drinks from the bar and they were terrific. My reason for lower rating was the room. While neat and clean it needs a major make over. The bathroom was small and quiet frankly looked like it was from the 1940's! Very dated. The tub/shower had been in so long that there was no finish left to it. Very little places to put your bathroom items. The toilet was the type I used many years ago in basic training while in the military. But like I said, was neat and clean. The bed was mostly comfortable, but the pillows were like small hard boards. Very hard to sleep on. Also were no curtains on the windows, just venetian blinds. So at night all the outside light streamed into the room making it so bright you didnt need a light to see. Black out cutrains would be in order for that room! Really the room we stayed in was basically a old fashioned motel. Definitely not worth the $160 we spent there. We did have a complimentary breakfast in the morning which was good. I do not recommend the coffee though!

Stay for the Park
Stayed at Natural Bridge Hotel because of the location to the Park which was literally across the street. But after visiting the Park we drove a lot to other area activities. We didn't get the room we reserved but we were compensated for the inconvenience (the room also had some issues with the bathroom). If we had to do it again we would stay in Lexington (15 minutes away) because of the access to dining opportunities Natural Bridge doesn't have - we found ourselves driving back and forth many times during the weekend for coffee or dining out.

Clean ac wasnt working that time but its okay no need ac. Heater is fine. Stuff friendly. Food is good. I will stay there again. By the way, loved the bread pudding. 😍
