The room was underwhelming and not the cleanest there was coffee all over the coffee machine and there was a tray that was stuck to the table from the lack of cleaning that is done to the rooms.Nice view and area

We have been staying here for years. The restaurant is just terrific and so convenient. There seems to be a fair amount of deferred maintenance that needs attention. Some cosmetic but other areas truly in need. Floors need a good cleaning at least twice a year. hooks missing in bathroom. The outdoor dining area cover wood needs attention...some pieces are rotting. keep the outdoor dining...it's wonderful.

This property is in a beautiful location but in bad need of some upgrades. Not clean and run down

Our room was at the top of a long flight of stairs which could be an problem for people with mobility issues. If so ask for a room on the lower floor. It was winter when we stayed so the grounds were snow covered. The room was clean and warm and great for the price.

It’s an older property and therefore you can’t expect modern fit and finish. What we found was a dirty, forgotten room that will keep us from ever returning. The bath drain was plugged and by the end of a shower you were ankle deep in water.

It was a very relaxing time although some fine details of cleanliness are at fault heat pump.so dirty woukdnt turn on and dusty around edges of room not professional tv very frustrating but staff excellent in office and dining room

This was suppose to be a deluxe room. It had small spaces,one double bed.For $310 for 2 nights,way too expensive with the mattress not comfortable.Also,stuffing came out of my pillow. Only 2 creamers,one per cup,,2 coffeepods and no stirsticks.Cheap,cheap,cheap for a hefty price.

Old and sad
We stayed at the Inn five years ago. It’s an historic building and has a certain charm about it. Unfortunately, over the last five years, they have done no upgrading, and the cleanliness was far less than desirable. Even though it’s an old building, there are some very simple things they could do to make it better. We will not be staying here again.

The room was cute however it was filthy, the coffe pot had an old coffee pod in it and the base was gross, the floors were so dirty that you made the sheets dirty when you got into bed, the tile backsplash was covered with toothpaste spray and the sheets had what appeared to be a poop stain on them which we didn’t notice until after we slept in them. We let them know when we left and no one really cared, so I’d suggest somewhere else if you can😉

The Inn was very convenient but it’s run down. The outside needs a paint job, the bathroom has black mold around tub, light bulbs burnt. The beds are older and linen is as well. I’d spend more to stay somewhere else. We had stayed here a couple of years ago and it was lovely. Not so much this time.

Not very clean in hallways, carpets and bedroom. Needs updating badly. There was a boil water advisory posted in hallway but staff did not mention it upon checking or offer water. Another person staying there happened to mention I could get bottled water at desk!

Property doesn’t recognize allergies to scents. First room was so strong, I had to leave door open to release smell. Didn’t work after 1 hour. Asked front desk for a pillow and blanket to sleep in the car. They believe heavy scents are good for business. Front desk staff offered me a refund-I said no, I would sleep in my car. Front desk got 2 other rooms for me to try. Second scented, but less. Third room fine. They helped me move my luggage. Overall, I believe the concept of scent free is foreign to management, but if Expedia approached them, they would make significant changes.

The inn is old, and we were expecting that, but the room and hallways were filthy. A thick layer of dust, cobwebs, tub that didnt drain, dirty bathroom walls, thread bare sheets, and air conditioning that didnt cool (only fan working) made this stay worse than many third world countries that we have travelled to.

Our room was nothing like the picture on the booking site. Dirty bathroom/toilet, toilet seat broken. Light burned out in bathroom, 2 lamps in main room one unplugged with no outlet in reach, additional desk lamp would not turn on & broken. Clogged bathtub drain, mold on shower edges. Floors dirty, tile around bathroom sink had not been cleaned. The property is not maintained. Entry dark and dirty, stains on inside doormat. decking on landing leading to rooms is in disrepair. Dim lighting, not at all welcoming. Used to be a nice place years ago. Would never go back.

Wasn’t impressed with anything about the property. The rooms definitely need a makeover. Floors are wood and so scratched and dirty. Spilled water and wiped up with paper towel and it was filthy. Quickly put shoes on. Would not recommend.

Disappointing
The inn is falling apart. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The floors are filthy, the hook on the bathroom door fell off, the sink doesn’t drain, the shower curtain has mild on it. We were booked for 3 nights and on day 2 we came back to the room and they didn’t make the bed or give us fresh towels. We didn’t stay the third night because of hurricane Lee we flew home, they wouldn’t refund us. You should not recommend them. Scale of 1-10 I won’t give the more than 3. I wish I took photos of the pipes on the ceiling and the filth.

Looks not bad from outside. Room not so good. Very poor wifi. Bedding was too small and cheap sheets. Kept coming off mattress. Good water pressure but very basic rooms. Not too much available in Liverpool.

Room was clean when I arrived. However, during my 5-day stay no one came to change towels or tidy up room. Breakfast was offered only on weekends. Fortunately, the Memories cafe was within walking distance and opened at 9 a.m. The hotel didn't quite deliver what the website conveyed.

The rooms were not clean. Was under water restrictions, was no one at the desk in the morning to get bottled water from for brushing your teeth or making coffee. Rooms and furniture was very dated and banged up. Building needs a major cleaning and renovation.

A pleasant old style Inn on the water. Chairs placed on the lawn to enjoy the peaceful setting. Good quality lunch in the dining room.

5 wifi networks and they all are spotty at best
The wifi is terrible. Do not stay here if travelling on business and it is required. Also the mattress was hard. Other cheap and convenient to downtown.

The property had a stunning view of the bay, with chairs overlooking the water. The bed was comfortable and having a restaurant on site was a huge plus as it was pouring rain when I came to stay. I would definitely return.

Waterfront. Room are spacious and clean. Bathtub drainage during shower, however, was slow to clogged! Everything else is very comfortable in the room.
