Had to take my own luggage to the front desk as no one was available to assist, had to wait for a bit as only one person at the front desk, was not offered a welcome drink and was told I would get a ticket later and never did, no offer to upgrade, pool very small, pool bar closes at 7 pm which is very early, beach across the hotel was dirty despite it being Copacabana. Would prefer to stay somewhere else in Rio next time.

The reception staff, housekeeper, and servers at breakfast were very customer focused, friendly, and welcoming. For an older building it is well maintained and has all amenities necessary to be comfortable. The location essentially at the juncture of two famous beaches is excellent.

Wonderful property with panoramic rooftop pool and sunbathing area. Nice breakfast is available for fee each morning. Very helpful staff. Walk across the street to the beach and also near restaurants and shopping. Great value.

Orla and its staff are simply amazing. Our international flight landed in Rio early in the morning, so stopping at the hotel we figured we would have to wait until 3pm to check in. The staff found an empty room for us to temporarily stay in until our room was ready. I know that this probably was a unique situation but it shows how eager they are to serve you. Joseph the lobby bartender was very friendly and informative. He was able to give us suggestions and advice on destinations. Breakfast was a buffet of fruits, cheese, meat slices, eggs, bacon and multiple fresh squeezed juices. It is located sandwiched between two great neighborhoods making exploring easy. The room was cleaned daily, and the AC was able to get cooooold. Our favorite part of the room was the amazing shower head and water pressure, it was like being in a waterfall.

Fabulous location across the street from the Copacabana Beach and close to Copacabana Fort and a short walk to Ipanema Beach. The staff was excellent. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Fruit was plentiful. Especially loved the bowl of fresh fruit. Best I have seen at any hotel. Breakfast staff were attentive in greeting you at the entrance, handling out juice, pouring coffee and refilling the food. Other hotel staff were great too. The rooftop area had excellent views of the area. Highly recommend staying here.

We were only at Orla for our first night in Rio, but i would definitely recommend. It's clean, well located and the staff are very friendly. I would also suggest trying the buffet breakfast - it was great quality for the price!

The property was across the street from the beach. The room was very small but nice. There were tiny bugs on the dresser and I called and was given bug spray. I saw a few homeless people nearby but didn’t feel threatened at all. The staff was very friendly except the lady at the front desk with red hair. I took Uber everywhere and it wasn’t expensive.

I’ve stayed at the Orla multiple times and love it. The hotel staff courteous and professional. The rooms are nice, and the location of the hotel is on the border of Copacabana and Ipanema which makes it super convenient.

Birthday celebrations (I would stay here again)
Overall I enjoyed my stay in Rio. Intially, we were put in the smallest rooms ever. My brother and his wife room had to be switch after the first night because it was next to maintenance/housekeeping closet. The night front desk staff was great (brown complexion male-name begins with a J and female front desk clerk, thin stature I can't recall her name either but the only female I saw). The beach is across from this hotel, close to pop-up vendor like flea market in the evenings, grocery store and coffee shop.There are many homeless people and individuals with dogs (dog poop/smell) close to this property/this area in general. Learn some Portuguese, very little English spoken by the locals. P.S. the worst towels ever in the room, I swear my husband use better towels to wash his car.

Definitivamente elegiria de nuevo esta propiedad, me encanto! Al inicio tuvimos unos detalles con los beneficios del programa VIP ACCESS (que seria importante que los conozcan por parte de la propiedad), por lo que al dia siguiente de nuestro check-in el General Manager se acerco a nosotras pidiendonos una disculpa por el inconveniente, situacion que me gusto, porque indica que el GM esta al pendiente de sus huespedes, asi como de su experiencia. El staff marvilloso, siempre con una sonrisa y saludando todo el tiempo. El desayuno bastante bien. La habitacion bien, limpia, los blancos bien, las camas comodas y el baño limpio; solo la regadera un poco pequeña. Tiene una excelente ubicacion para poder moverte entre ipanema y copacabana, me encanto que en el roof top tienen su alberca con vista a la "orla" bello paisaje! Un hotel que tiene excelente relacion precio-calidad, definitivamente lo recomiendo.
