Upon check in we experienced a nightmare. With the help of the manager she was able to fix everything and it turned out to be a wonderful family vacation for my family of 5.

The nicest staff I have ever encountered. They welcomed me and my dog like family, and continued to make us feel that way our entire stay. Perfect beach access, and a super clean property. Looking forward to our next visit there.

The property was dated but very clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were there for a family emergency so we did not spend much time there. The location I imagine would be ideal for tourists.

Awesome- start to finish
So great, wonderful view and sunrise - the room had a separate sitting room which allowed for a second door to close to protect noise from the hall. My dog was happy too! Liz at the bar helped me get a healthy salmon dinner and salad to keep to my diet! Easy access to the beach and there was a Saturday market next door. Great all around!

We loved the ocean view enjoyed every moment of it. What we didn’t like was how the city decided to wake everyone up early morning doing construction work. And I don’t know if the hotel is understaff but I requested for breakfast to be brought to our room and it showed up late.

Hotel Nice but Way Overpriced for What You Get
This a very nice hotel and the staff is outstanding. The pillows are awful (making sleep almost impossible). They are way too thin and worn out. The breakfast "buffet" staff is wonderful but the "buffet" is way overpriced and is offered as a complimentary perk at most hotels in this chain's lower tier properties. I realize this is a beach destination but the price is too high for what you get. I expected much more.

Service was great, and everyone was very friendly. Beds were comfortable, and location was great. Rooms could use a little updating as the carpets and furniture appeared old and dirty.

ADA rooms need renovations!
Stayed for 5 days and enjoyed very much. Super friendly staff and very helpful. Lovely facility. Will come back. This is not a complaint , but a suggestion. The room I requested was a ADA room. Got it but found it to be lacking in disability easy access. The Bed is WAY to high. no chair in room to sit and do shoes. Bathtub not wheel in shower. Hall to narrow to manuver wheelchair into bathroom. Again, enjoyed stay but feel it was a misrepresentation of ADA specifications.

Not our 1st stay here and won't be our last. We like this hotel and book it whenever we are driving through the state,dropping our son off at college or for a family vacation. I have no complaints, front staff is always friendly, hotel is clean, and quiet.

Our stay was very nice. It was quiet and convenient. The only issue we had, which I understand about the shortage of employees in my area so I assuming it's the same for Jacksonville, we never had our room cleaned. We had to go get our towels, get rid of our trash and get toilet paper. Toilet paper was a touchy one, we didn't know there wasn't any more until it was too late. We usually reuse our towels but had to use them to dry up the floor after our shower because the shower curtain did do its job very well. This is the reason for "Good" for property condition and faculties. Other than that, all went very well and would return if we decide to visit Jax in the future.
