If you like eclectic, this is the place for you! The entrance to the hotel could be easily overlooked from the street and we got lost trying to find it at night. A doorway with a tiny sign fixed flat to the wall.
There is a lift from the lobby to our 3rd floor unit, but there are changes in grade between the lift and the room requiring stairs. So good luck with your luggage. And the staircases are outdoors, i.e. open to the sky!
The unit has three rooms: toilet, bedroom and shower/washbasin, so after using the toilet one must pass through the bedroom to use the washbasin. That seems odd for a renovated hotel that the toilet and washbasin would not at least be in adjoining rooms. The shower room has no door so no privacy from the bedroom and cools to common room temperature.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
