The parking was terrible due to there restaurant sharkys! No lights on the back side of the hotel so it was dark even with a balcony. And no hair dryer in the room and it was hard to even get clean towels had to use our beach towels to shower!

The 5 year old said he gives this place a 10 out of 10 and 20 stars! ;) we will definitely be back! Staff was great, the view is amazing and you literally walk right onto the beach. Plenty to do around the hotel and close by.

No complaints honestly, on the beach, on site restaurants, water activities, less than a 5 min walk to carts & slingshot rentals. The resort itself has coupons for nearby activities. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

I HAVE NEVER LEFT SUCH A BAD REVIEW! Nothing is perfect & I go with the flow. Until this place….. No hot water our whole stay, the place is filthy, the microwave sounded like it was going to explode, refrigerator wouldn’t stay closed, any good sized creature could’ve gotten under the front door, both doors were poorly secured, the opening in the ceiling was cracked open, etc… this was all reported. We were told numerous times the hot water was working. Never did we have hot water!! The guy at the front desk acted like he had never ever been there, got very rude with my friend. We can hear everything from our room, our neighbors weren’t even loud but we could hear everything they said clearly. Everyone who walked by. Everything needs to be replaced. Toliet ran all the time, very difficult to flush & the shower was peeling off in huge spots. The A/C constantly made a noise, level 5 when not running & level 12 when on. Unfortunately due to storms on our route home, we have to stay an extra night. Worst place EVER!!!!!!!!! This place should be condemned! The only 2 decent things were the beds weren’t terrible & a woman named Angela was very professional & sweet.

The fact that Sharky’s shares the small parking lot made parking a nightmare. We never wanted to venture out due to not being able to park on return. Slamming doors heard all hours of day and night. The bed frame was broken and bed sunk completely in half. We actually cut our trip short. Will not be returning.

I actually booked this hotel last minute online through Expedia for one night! The picture online of room that I booked was nothing even close to what I walked into! Bathroom/tub was disgusting, floors were pealing up, a/c didn’t work, window were cracked,black mold growing on ceiling, it smelt awful, door didn’t shut securely and it was completely different than advertised online! In the parking lot we watch drug deals happening and women selling themselves! I would not recommend anyone stay here it is unsafe and horrible! Thankful Expedia refunded our money!

There were cockroaches in our room and mold on the shower curtain but when I went to the office they did apologize and give us another room but with a different layout than the one we had purchased. In our new room their were spiders that came out of the faucet in the shower, at this point I didn’t want to bother them anymore and I told them I was only gonna stay that one night and go somewhere else the 2nd night because of all the cockroaches after we checked out I was notified that I was charged another night on another card that I did not use to pay for the first night and haven’t gotten my refund I was told I would get immediately

I truly enjoyed my stay The bed was extremely comfy… great view.. staff was super friendly and personable… The only negative thing was a stain on one of the chairs in the room… Other than that it was superb… I definitely won’t be coming back

The property was conveniently located to Sharky’s. We didn’t actually stay at The Reef because it was closed. We were moved to Seahaven’s neighboring property, and although in a great location need attention.

Hotel from hell!
I would NEVER recommend this hotel and I promise I will never stay again. Pictures on the Hotels.com site certainly do NOT match actual location. No hand towels, no washcloths, only two towels, DIRTY FLOORS. Tv picked up several channels, however, the “snow” (lack of proper connection), you couldn’t see anything. Mold under the open sink, bathroom door didn’t close or lock. Main door came open somehow while we were not in the room. Staff at check-in was RUDE. Had a staff member not even waiting on me tell me to calm down and I had not gotten out of shape. I was having a conversation with the lady checking me in. No check in on site, you have to go down the street. HORRIBLE!!!!

Seahaven Resort One of Those Quite Hideaways
Nice hotel directly on the beach. You can tell the hotel was slightly impacted by a few hurricanes. The couch and chairs have seen better days, but the mattress are new. Overall its a decent place to stay with a beautiful pool and relaxation area. I would return and spend longer than a night if the opportunity for a vacation came about versus a business trip.

You get what you pay for I guess. Never in my life have I stayed someplace so awful. Words can’t really explain how awful this place is. If your 21 and on Spring Break than I guess this is your spot. I actually bought bed sheets at Walmart. That’s how dirty this place seemed. Glad to be gone!

Amazing place to stay!! Sharky’s is right next door so you never have to worry about finding a good meal or delicious drink……Aside from the very minor parking issues I encountered which this was all during biker week. I have absolutely no complaints. Clean rooms Very helping and friendly staff at every place you visit. Beautiful and clean beaches with incredible views!!! The Reef will be my number one go-to place to stay every time I visit

The reef was a great place to stay at a great price point and super convenient! Definitely needs attention to some of the finer details like the air conditioner housings and the elevator floor, but overall, it was well worth the money! The view from my room was absolutely spectacular!
