We love this place! The view from your breakfast table of the lake can't be beat. Lots of interesting birds. Saw 2 lifers just sitting on our back patio.

Muy lindas las habitaciones solo recomendaría poner cedazo en las ventanas porque es muy caliente adentro y no se pueden abrir por los bichos. Además deberían de tener a alguien que responda mensajes o llamadas en caso de que los hospedados necesiten algo. Pero por lo demás muy bien

Family trip
A one night stop with my my family at La Casona was a pleasant surprise. The cabins were extremely clean, spacious, nice and well maintained. The surroundings were pretty and enjoyed walking around, watching birds and nature. Restaurant and service top. Definitely hope to stay again at this place.

Quite and very peaceful Hotel. The perfect place to get in touch with nature and ground. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable with cable Tv. (in case that matters to you). Oh and you really don’t need a/c here in case you worry as I did. I actually had to turned off the ceiling fan because the nice cool temperature at night. The staff was super nice from check in to check out. However, I will recommend to arrive before the sun sets if you are planning on having diner as their restaurant closes at 7:00 pm. and there aren’t many choices around the area. Breakfast in the morning with the lake view was so good, I got the “desayuno típico” but they also have a couple other options. We will definitely stay here again!

Service und Freundlichkeit und Bedienung hat noch oben
Das check-in ging sehr schnell und wir mussten gleich bezahlen.Der Service beim Abendessen war etwas langsam un wir mussten nachfragen wo der Wein bleibt bevor wir mit dem Essen fertig waren. Beim Frühstück wartetenwir auch lang auf das Kaffeewasser. Ich denke, das junge Personal war ziemlich unerfahren.

This was just a stop over for us. Room was spacious and very clean. Little kitchen area was a bonus. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was awful. Everything was over cooked and microwaved, including the white rice. So bad, we didn’t even stay for the free breakfast. But otherwise a beautiful quick place to lay our heads.

The property, hotel and restaurant was amazing. The staff was pertcfect. The Turkish watch was not working and there was not a pool but other than that, amazing. The food was extremely good and would rival any 5 start restaurant.

The lake's view from the restaurant at breakfast time is unique in the area. Also you can easily watch and hear birds on the property. A very nice get away option near San Jose to stay and enjoy the valley.

Nos hospedamos aquí para celebrar nuestro 20 aniversario. La habitación muy amplia y cómoda, la cual incluía una pequeña terraza al aire libre y caja de seguridad. Excelente limpieza. La atención en el restaurante por parte de Carlos y el chef fue espectacular, con precios muy accesibles. Recibimos una botella de vino espumante de cortesía por nuestro aniversario y nos permitieron un late check out. Personal sumamente amable y muy dispuesto a complacer a su cliente. Definitivamente volveremos.

The house was nice, big washroom, very quiet spot. There were lots of small ants inside, but that's common in Costa Rica. The lake doesn't look so good, vegetation is way overgrown, so don't expect to swim in it. The breakfast was good. So overall it was alright, just that I expected more for that price.

Un lieu calme et charmant. Service discret et courtois. Terrasse du resto entourée de végétation et avec une vue sur le lac. Chambre spacieuse, propre, bien équipée et tranquille. Repas copieux et délicieux! Pour nous: un petit coup de cœur! Merci à nos hôtes!

Es war alles soweit gut. Wir sind 3 Nächte dort gewesen. Als noch genügend andere Gäste da waren, funktionierte das Internet auf der ganzen Anlage. An unserem letzten Tag wurde dies eingeschränkt, so dass nur noch die Zimmer weiter vorne Internet hatten. Wir nicht mehr. Eigentlich kein Problem, aber wir mussten für den Rückflug Einreiseunterlagen hochladen und ausfüllen etc. Das war dann schon ein Problem.

The hotel has very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The property is surrounded with coffee plantations and has a great view of the lagoon. Breakfast is good with a couple of options to choose from. Service is a little bit slow at the restaurant but there is no big deal if you are on vacations.

The place was peaceful, beautiful location! The lake the flowers the mountains were all amazing! The room was large and well decorated! Bathroom was Hugh along with a large bar area! Great food in the restaurant!
