As per Spanish legislation, smoking is permitted in outdoor spaces. There are no smoking and non smoking areas at the Africano Bar or pool for the reasons you mentioned- outdoors you are allowed to smoke as per the spanish legislation.The exception is the kids pool area – which is non smoking (law) and also the sunbed area in the sand in front of the gym and sauna area is also non smoking.
