We got in late and left early for skiing. We paid a modest premium for a “superior “ room, which I think included a hutch with drawers. Had a fridge, microwave, place was clean, beds comfy, warm, and tons of hot water. The following was expected, because it’s a “motel”. The wall HVAC is WAY overdue for replacement, I prefer a freight train to its condenser kicking on. And when you see popcorn ceiling, you know there’s no sound proofing. When the neighbor showers, the pipes trump a blow torch. TV remote was beyond worn, wouldn’t shift up, only down and required 2 fingers to muscle down. My bad, didn’t report it, but neither did previous occupant. But for a village that’s kept franchising out, it was a “fair” value and I’d stay again.

It was a large room with a little kitchenette which was nice. Very dated, but also, if they could only pull the rugs, it could be really nice! Major gap under door with cold breeze flowing through. Overall, it was good. The cost were high for the conditions, but it's Stowe and everything is costly!

A very nice, reasonably priced motel room with a stocked kitchenette having all the necessary pans and appliances for a simple meal. Even a good coffee maker with coffee filters and coffee in the cabinets. My only minor issue is that the road is a little bumpy because it's not paved.

Im sorry you found your stay not what you expected. We have a variety of rooms at the motel and our housekeeping staff takes great pride in their cleaning. I wish we would have known this during your stay as we would have been able to move your room and look into the situation. All of our guests are important to us.. .

This is our third stay in the last two years. New owners seemed very attentive and nice at check in. We stayed in the back location and noticed two issues: the toilet needs to be upgraded - the plunger in the bathroom was convenient and needed. The TV only had one station and none of the remotes worked... we took to the office and they gave new batteries but didn't seem to do the trick. The DVD collection in the Office was vast and we watched a movie instead. Overall, the location is key for easy access to ski Stowe and for getting into town. It is a motel and we knew that going in and would go back for sure.

Front desk allowed me for an early check in and late check out. Very nice front desk receptionist. Rooms are dated but cozy. It’s a good location to Stowe ski resort. Shuttle pick up to go to mountain or town is across the street by blue donkey.

We have stayed at the Stowe Motel a few times now. Cute rooms ours had a fireplace which was very nice. Great location near all of the nice restaurants.

Not Much to do around and very isolated area I’m from CT so I’m use to my Dunkin Donuts and I had to travel a good 30 min to get one so not for me at all

We are sorry you chose to stay in Stowe during the quiet time. Stowe Motel is situated between the Village of Stowe and Stowe Mountain Resort. There is so much to do in Stowe.There is also a Dunkin Donuts located 3 miles from our establishment. But even better are the local-owned coffee shops.

It’s an older motel. So, it is a little dated. But, the rooms are clean. The beds were comfortable. We stayed in one of their efficiency rooms in 2021 for a week. If/when we return to Stowe, I will certainly book here again.

Absolutely the best motel we have ever stayed in from cleanliness to comfort! Staff is extremely friendly, and very pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable beds, and very spacious! The area is cute with a lot of choices for dinning, tourists interests, and peaceful surroundings! Rating a 10 out of 10! Will definitely stay again when up in that area again!

The staff is quite friendly and overall they ensure that you have a pleasant experience. The property is well kept and easily accessible. Small touches like DVD options, bikes and children’s games add up to the good experience.

Property was dimly lit at nights. Cleaning crew didn't clean room or provide fresh towels, even though we requested them. Night staff had to bring them.

We have stayed here numerous times but were always in the front section with the larger rooms. These are awesome. This time we were put in the back section that is in dire need of upgrades and remodeling. The rooms are ok but the bathroom door did not close, shelving was falling off the wall, The heating unit did not go below 82 which made it tough to sleep. This is an awesome place to stay and very convenient to everything in Stowe, but the older section of rooms leave something to be desired. Just sayin’…………

This property is a gem, perfectly located near downtown Stowe, excellent restaurants, and area attractions. Our room appeared to have new carpet, new bed linen, and new towels. We enjoyed our stay!

I don’t know how this property got such a high rating. The room we were in was definitely not excellent in any way. The carpet in the room was very old and had a rip through the middle of it. There were roach traps in every corner. We did not see any bugs but there must be an issue or why the traps. In the bathroom there was a cabinet just above the toilet that would hit you in the back if you didn’t lean forward while sitting and it was very close to the sink cabinet so we had to be careful not to hit it. The room was never serviced while we were there for three days. I have no problem with beds being used without service, but the floor needed vacuuming due to leaves and pine needles being tracked in, as well as towels being replaced. We called to ask for towels and they brought some, but nothing else was done even though we requested it. I will say that when we checked in the lady at the front desk was very nice and helped me change from a queen room to a two queen bed room. I paid almost $200 dollars for that upgrade in addition to what I had already paid when booked. Beware that there are 2 or 3 different properties under the same name. We were in the Snowdrift Inn portion. I have never been this disappointed in a booking before. I would have moved to a different property if that had been possible.

Sorry that you found your stay with us so disappointing. We have never had roaches. It was probably some ant traps as we had a very wet summer and for precaution we wanted to make sure we did not get ants. It says on the confirmation that you receive that we do not do a daily housekeeping service ,however, if you asked and it was not done we do apologize. We are in the process of improvements. All of our guest comments are important to us so we appreciate the feedback. Thank you.
