We stayed in a port view room for only one night, as we decided last minute to spend 3 nights rather than 2 in Cannes. It was a great, I wish we had stayed here the whole time. It is a classic, older hotel. Even though it's right on one of the main dining streets, there was minimal noise through the windows. Our terrace on the 2nd floor had a small table, chairs, and view of the port. The airconditioning worked extremely well. The room is small but reasonable, with bedside tables on both sides, and a chair. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and large, but the only thing slightly out of date with a shower/tub combo that could have been a little more modern.
But overall, great. I prefer this end of Cannes for access to the Plage du Midi over Plage Croisette, also more restaurants are on this side of the center too. Free towel service for the beach.
