Unfortunately, I book and stay with you so that I can relax all my energy while I work, but unfortunately, at exactly 7 a.m., your maintenance work began on my room. Is this consistent with the name of the Novotel hotel in the world? I am very disturbed by your poor arrangement. If you have maintenance in a building, you do not have the right to provide it. Rooms near the maintenance area, which caused me inconvenience, and I will inform everyone of this misfortune that befell me.

Poor service. Cost cutting affects quality.
I have stayed in the Novotel Al Dana, Bahrain several times over the last 18 year's of visiting Bahrain. The last time was 7 year's ago and there have certainly been changes since then, not for the better. The service around the beach bar area was terrible, with the bar being unmanned much of the time. Cleaning of the room was also an issue. Apparently now you have to book a time if you want your room cleaned. This wasn't explained at check-in and in my opinion should be automatic and not require a booking. I complained to the duty manager who explained there had been cut backs since Covid-19. I have stayed in other hotels in Bahrain and their service is much better and hasn't had these cuts. I would recommend staying elsewhere if you want a drink and if you require daily room cleaning. Very sad as used to be a great hotel.

We had a great sty with the kids. Imane was really helpful and arranged an upgrade as it was the children’s birthdays this weekend. Catered to all our needs. The hotel is nice, if dated but staff in general were approachable and helpful. Have stayed here before as the pool and beach area are good especially for the kids. Breakfast has improved from the last time I stayed which is good.

Unprofessional front desk supervisor. Reservations was for a supervisor room but he gave me a standard room and his justification was the hotel is fully booked eventhough my reservation was confirmed and refused to credit the deference in mt account and had to accept or find others hotels thats is totally Unprofessional way to treat a paying customer

unprofessional reception supervisor
my reservation was for a superiore room and when i checked in the supervisor gave me standard room, without consulting me actually he laid to me stating that is very good room. i checked the room out and it was so small and not balacony. i compained to the supervisor and his answer was we are sorry we are fully booked even though i has a reservation and it was confrimed for a ssuperiore room and worse then that he tryied to sell me and upgarde for extra 20BD. which is crezy becase i have already paid. room did not have any toothbrush and shivers. one more thing my booking was though hotel.com and when i complain to them they called the hotel and the same supervisor laid to them and stated that we were check in a superiore room. this is my experience with the hotel 18/05/2023.

I booked an ocean view suite and instead was given a pool view. I was overcharged by 40%, many different items in the room didn’t work including the phone, the sliding door was broken and made noise all night and the water that came out of the bath tub was brown

The hotel dates back to the 80's. They haven't invested a dime since. The staff do not seem to have been trained on customer service. There's no way I'm ever staying there again.

Very good
Hotel was in a great location with good facilities. We selected the half board option and the food was great both at breakfast and dinner. A few suggestions of improvement would be that the lady who worked in the kids club was asleep at times whilst I was looking after my daughter in there. Also for the half board dinner option it would be nice to be offered something to drink other than water.

The property has very dated decor - needs a fresh coat of paint, proper switches for lighting, and a USB charging point (as most modern facilities). In addition it had a very dated TVset with poor picture quality. Toilet paper and soap ran out on the 2 nd day and took some time to get replaced - not really acceptable given the rates that were charged.

تجربه كانت ممتعه لكن للاسف كانت بجانب الغرف اعمال بناء وكانت مزعجه نوعا ما،،، ملاحظتي على الافطار يعتبر اقل من المتوسط بكثير خيارات محدوده جدا ولا يوجد تنوع لا يستحق المبلغ المدفوع. عموما الاقامه كانت ممتازه وممتعه

One never had to leave the property, in fact, we only left the property twice in our 4 day stay. Once to shop and another to try a restaurant my wife wanted to try. Pool and swim up bar was fun. Met a lot people and made new friends there.

The Novotel Al Dana Resort is a Perfect Place for Families (we have Kids aged 6&8). A beautiful and well mantained oasis with great views from every corner of the Resort. We enjoyed the spacious room with the balcony, the Pool and private beach Most. The breakfast is great with a lot of fresh fruits and good pastry. The hotel is very family friendly and Kids weren‘t charged for the room and for breakfast. Everybody was so friendly and I think european families would feel very Safe and wellcomed. Thanks everybody for a perfect week!

one thing disturbed what could've been perfect
Very good hotel, very pleasing, good service, I've got a very friendly reception on check-in with a kind voluntary upgrade from beach side to sea side room. The only thing that disturbed this pleasing stay and forced me to take one point out of my rating was at check-out. I asked for a late check out at 2 pm, and they very kindly agreed, however, just before that time was up I received repetitive calls at my room to remind me to check out .. that was totally uncalled for and unnecessary. I would understand that if I was late to check out, however I was not. That was the only negative side on that stay, otherwise it was a good hotel to stay at.

Very nice place!
A lovely feel to this place. Very friendly staff. Although a bit under-staffed, especially in reception. Otherwise really liked it. Low-rise and relaxed holiday feel.
