The hotel is old. We had to have someone come up and get our tv working. And when it DID work, we couldn't change channels! As long as the price is VERY reasonable, a syay here is worth it. It was clean and the beds were comfortable.

We just needed a one night stay to not drive all the way back to waco and i think this was pretty good. Not luxurious if thats what you are looking for. But Just comfortable enough and nice enough :)

Pricing and advertising was very poor. I don’t think some of the photos were even of this bldg. I can ignore some things. Like, it looked very much like the building was in some sort of flood. I paid a lot of money for a suite with an extra living area and what we got was a regular suite with. Couch. That’s it. I’ve seen far better accommodations for less money. Truly, disappointed. I don’t know if I will ever stay at another holiday inn or it’s family like holiday inn express. My son did say the bed was very comfortable. Unknowingly the refrigerator was off. I put left over food and it was too warm and wet to be kept the next day. Overall….. horrible stay 😣

Expensive with average quality. Language barrier. Breakfast was average. Asked for the cheese Danish but the kitchen staff didn't know what i meant. I showed her a picture and she looked in the freezer. Then she comes out with a tray of them. They were cold and half frozen. Room was dirty. Couch sleeper was dirty and mattress stained. This is a very big chain of hotels. I think management should offer English language course Free. For all non English employees. They should know how to communicate with customers

My stay was terrible. I paid for two rooms. Checked in at 330. Went to the casino until 11. When we got back and tried to go to our room there was a man and dog in my room. He was so sketchy. He didn’t have any luggage but said he was given that room. I went down stairs freaked out and all they wanted to say is they could give me another room. I felt so unsafe!! They did not care. I still have not recieved a refund.

There is so much road construction that its a challenge to get to the property at this time. I was surprised the night clerk had no restaurant recommendations, especially to the restaurant right next door to the south, only recommended IHOP to the north which was terrible. He also did not ask if i was a Priority Club member or even offer anything about it, luckily I am a member & gave him my card which he seemed confused about. The morning check out clerk also had little to say about anything. I also asked for a receipt, she said since I booked through Expedia that they would have to give me a receipt - this is odd because prior stays at other hotels booked through Expedia were able to provide a receipt. I'd love to know where the bedding for Holiday Inn Express is purchased because the comforter was simply amazing!! The morning clerk said she didnt know when I asked her.

The hotel was old and rundown. Our TV did not work. We even change the batteries in the remote to no avail. There was no ice in the ice machine. In the beds are extremely uncomfortable. We would’ve been better of sleeping on a cot.

The lock on pool was broken & couldn’t access pool. Kids were disappointed they couldn’t swim. Front desk wouldn’t open the door for us. Carpets were dirty. Couldn’t walk bare footed on carpet without having to wash feet before getting in bed.
