We made a 6 hr drive from Missouri to enjoy the water Park with our kids and apon arrival was told water Park would be shut down early both days and completely closed the last day of our trip then while in the water Park day one they shut it down due to it needing multiple repairs we were just told to call Expedia and ask for a refund and that was it and still didn't get to utilize the water Park which was the full reason we came

This "resort" is not worth the cost, at least for what you are going to have to pay for a weekend rate. The hotel staff is fine but was not at all welcoming or friendly. The waterpark had a an entire pool and a section of the kids area shut down for repairs. The arcade only had about half the games working, the rest were out of order. The room, for the rate we paid, was lackluster. Bathroom amenities just include a small bottle of shampoo, bath bar, and lotion. Conditioner and body wash would have gone a long way and I've gotten both at much less expensive hotels. The food was not good. Breakfast had four hot items, eggs, sausage, tator tots, biscuits and gravy. I had eggs and biscuits and gravy, both somehow tasted strongly of chicken broth and were very unappetizing. The kids chowed down on some donuts holes. The coffee, and I'm not picky about coffee, but I'll be honest, this was coffee-flavored water, at best. Nothing was terrible or ruined our trip, it just wasn't worth the weekend rate and I would recommend others to find an alternative hotel where you'll likely get a much better value. At this resort your kids might have fun if you've got easy going, young kids but your wallet will not.

Was not worth the money. No toilet paper in room, blow dryer did not work, concession stand at pool was to open at 4...did not open until 6pm! I expected better

A great place for families. We loved the water park and also the river walk just outside the hotel. We will be back for another stay!

This hotel was dated but relatively clean, the beds were comfortable. The water park was a nice break for my 11-year old. Once again the water park was dated but maintained.

I didnt the fact the water park wasnt open until 4pm the 2nd day of my stay specially since is advertised as a water park that is open daily .i enjoy the arcade the room and food the parking and the view of the Mississippi River

It is a decent property. It is clean , had free breakfast ( although was the same two days on a row), sell discounted tickets to the Mississippi River museum, the Lazer maze is fun and the Skittles dispensing machine is something we've never seen before. Also the Riverwalk was a very nice bonus. And most staff we ran into was friendly, especially the front desk staff. We had an issue since waterpark was not open the whole time, which we didn't know at the time of booking ( you really have to dig in the website to find that info, should be on the home page). And there is no regular pool or hot tub on premise while the water part is not open. Half or the games in the arcade were not working and the front desk staff was not able to do any refunds if your credit were taken off your card. The prizes machine is pretty lame, only a few items are available. They were testing the firealarm system , which is understandable, but the staff in our floor told us it was not a drill, so we had to get her our kids and valuables and run down the stairs to evacuate ( would be nice to know it was just testing ). The restaurant was also closed on Monday, when we were going to just relax and stay at the property to eat. And the last thing. What is up with all the signs, the ones printed out on white paper and taped all over the place. One was even in a poster paper written out with a stencil. Overall an ok hotel if you do your digging to check out the operating hours of amenities.

I had a gift card given to me for use at the Hotel, I asked the front desk if I could redeem the cash value for play time in the arcade, or if I could simply buy a "players card" to be used for games. The answer was no, I was told the only places I could use the gift card was either to buy merchandise or snacks at the front desk, buying snacks or drinks at the "bait shack" or use it at Tony Roma's restaurant...tried to buy some chips and drinks by the pool at the Bait Shack...guy said he couldn't accept it there.

Found old popcorn behind the nightstand. Door was hard to secure. Breakfast was over crowded, maybe extend breakfast to 10.

The resort worked for my visit Overall a very good facility It is starting to get a bit long in the tooth… Room furniture is worn, edges worn and wobbly. Bar chairs similar. Complimentary breakfast a bit on the lean side. What was offered was good, but lack of items was noted. No fruit, yogurt and even waffle maker was surprising.

Loved the water park and the game room. Lots of room and the life guards were nice to have. Great parking and walking down the sidewalk along the Mississippi was beautiful! Walked to the casino too! Great place!

Bed was not comfortable at all. We arrived late after a long day of travel and got "scolded" by front desk for not calling to let them know we were going to be late. Older lady, not friendly. She acted like we were lucky we still had a room.

Wasn't told upon booking on Expedia that the indoor water park closes at 4 pm (same time as our check in) nor that it would be closed on Monday. Kind of a bummer. Otherwise, things were clean and accommodating. There was a large crack in our door in the room and the TV could be updated (had no way to cast to it from our devices.) The shampoo was really bad. The view was incredible tho!

Furniture in roomnwas old and dirty, finish on wood table and dresser scratch and beat up. Bed had some sort of white paint stain on box spring. Toliet was not working. Plumber came up at 10:30pm, plunged it , said it worked, it wouldnt drain. Tried calling desk in morning a few times no answer to have someone come back up to try to replunge

We really enjoyed the stay. It was afordable and fun for our kids. Some downsides are the rooms are on the dirtier side. There eas stuff all over the walls and the remote was filthy. The daytime staff were great. They did have breakfast but it was pretty poor quality with no real utensils. Thr waterpark is aged but alot of fun.

My grandson and I frequent the waterpark almost every Thursday due to the discount. This XMas vacation me and all the grandkids went and stayed the night. It was all I expected, they allowed us to swim 3 hrs past checkout which rocked. The woman that checked us in was fantastic, said she had only been there 3 months but she was so helpful for a Grandma with 3 excited children. Thanks for the great relaxing time away.
