Wir waren mit zwei Kleinkindern dort (2 und 0 Jahre) und hatten vier wunderbare Tage hier. Das Frühstück ist grandios. Die Umgebung fantastisch. Das Personal aufmerksam und zuvorkommend - insbesondere auch zu Kindern. Die Ausstattung des Hotels mit Pools (innen und außen) und den weiteren Angeboten sind super. Wir kommen gern wieder und empfehlen vorbehaltlos weiter! :-)

Beautiful hotel and super friendly staff! Only down side is our room had no AC and had no hot water in the shower. But overall, it was a nice stay!

The hotel is situated in the country, near tall trees and grape vines, convenient to hiking in that part of Madeira. The views were lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. For the 3 of us, the room was a bit crowded, but okay.

Service et accompagnement client irréprochable!
Nous avons adoré cet hôtel! Le personnel a été très avenant, gentil et compétent. Nous avons été surclassé avec une belle chambre supérieure avec vue sur mer dans la partie plus récente de l'hôtel. L'endroit était calme et la vue superbe. Nous avons bénéficié de plusieurs petites attentions personnalisées. Le petit-déjeuner était bon et complet et le restaurant était sympa aussi.

Sensationelle Lage, tolles Haus mit allem, was man sich für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub vorstellt. Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Die Zimmer mit Terrasse sind am schönsten, haben aber ab 13 Uhr nicht mehr allzu viel Sonne. Tolles Frühstück und ein super Restaurant (auch für Vegetarier/Veganer) nebenan.

Outdated 4 star hotel but beautiful setting
Beautiful setting and nice rooms. Reception staff could be friendlier and more professional. For example, there is a difference between “take a seat” and “please have a seat” (during check in). Indoor pool is quite small. Outdoor was not working. Sauna is outdated and mouldy. Nice breakfast and breakfast staff.

A great hideaway
Santana is on the North Coast of Madeira, and the Quinta do Furao stands on a cliff, in beautiful surroundings (great view for breakfast with the rising sun). The hotel is well located if you want to take walks in the mountains or on the seaside. Rooms are spacious and comfortable (try to get one with a view). Small indoor and outdoor (unfortunately not heated) swimming pools to relax.

Excelente escolha!
Gostamos muito da Experiência! Vista esplêndida, hotel lindíssimo! O atendimento era 5 estrelas: funcionários sempre muito prestativos, deixavam sempre um mimo no quarto (vinho da madeira, chocolates…). A piscina era aquecida, a temperatura da água era perfeita! O café da manhã tinha de tudo (sumos naturais, eggs Benedict, omeletes, panquecas, waffle, frutas, iogurte, diversos bolos, chás incríveis). As medidas do covid eram perfeitamente atendidas, sentimos totalmente seguros nesse sentido. Recomendo vivamente!

Just what we needed
A very relaxing break in a superb location. Unfortunately there was a rather loud wedding party which made conversation in the dinning room difficult but it got quieter as the evening progressed.

Stunning views over Rocha do Navio and picturesque surrounding gardens and vines. Sleeping to the sound of the waves in our sea-view room. Generous breakfast buffet & restaurant with more wonderful views from the terrace. Clear efforts to make the hotel covid-safe throughout. Plenty of hikes in the surrounding area for the more active. Highly recommended.

Loved everything! It was an amazing surprise. The gym space needs a bit more investment on it but the rest is perfect. The location is absolutely stunning.

à ne pas louper sur l'île !!
Fantastique hotel, très confortable et parfaitement situé ! L'accueil est formidable, vraiment très convivial et aidant. Mention spéciale pour le restaurant, qui est tout simplement le meilleur que nous ayons connu sur l'île : des entrées très goûteuses (l'os à moelle est incroyable !), les espetadas (brochettes suspendues) absolument délicieuses, et le cheesecake de patate douce bluffant... Les vues, de l'hotel, de la piscine, du restaurant, sont toutes à couper le souffle : il ne faut pas louper un passage dans cet hotel !
