Went out of Business & Didn't Notified to Cancel
I showed up at the hotel to check in and was told they canceled all reservations and all guest had to leave, they were shutting down and there were moving trucks out front taking the furniture away. I was not contacted by anyone to cancel my reservation.

There was only decaffeinated coffee in our room and none available downstairs in the lobby. Last year when we stayed for a dance competition, breakfast was available well before 7am on a Saturday. Being there were several dancers from around the state staying I was shocked that I couldn’t get my daughter something to eat for breakfast before we had to leave at 6:45am. The staff are very friendly here and I love that we can walk to the river center from the hotel on these early morning call times.

Le personnel du petit déjeuné était négligent quant à la propreté : tables non nettoyées, sol sali et nettoyé longtemps après. L’appareil à pancakes n’était pas en marche…car c’est trop long à nettoyer après ? Dans les chambres je me suis demandée si les draps du précédent client avaient bien été changés ? Par contre hôtel bien situé avec des restaurants autour et les monuments à voir à proximité

The staff was nice. The parking was horrible and my room had mold, the bathroom was peeling and was not very clean. The hotel was full so I couldn’t change rooms. The money paid was not worth.

I stayed there because I was running a half marathon. In fact the start line was right outside the front door. I asked the front desk what time was breakfast he said 7 am. I asked if I would be able to get a bagel around 5:30. He said no. The next morning I asked the two lady workers as they were preparing the breakfast if I could have a bagel. It was 5:30 am. They said no they would get in trouble. There were no snacks that I could purchase. They only had skittles 2 bags of Cheetos and a cookie. The snack bar was not stocked at all

There is no parking. You will have to park on the street. There are a lot of evening venues surrounding this hotel so you will be fighting the crowd for one of the very limited parking spots. The room was nice and they have a free breakfast in the morning.

Not my pee, not my problem
We arrived at midnight, I called in advance to make sure our room would be ready and pre-paid. Despite this, the front desk attendant did not let us have a room for 30 minutes. Despite THREE different cards being charged, which I showed them, they insisted that we could not have a room because my cards were all declined. Then, we get into the room, and after reading all about the HG cleanliness guarantee, we found hairs in and around the bed, multiple suspicious stains, etc. it was terrible. We were given a new room, which had a terrible bathroom. The shower was “peeling”, as the house-keeping supervisor told me, and was stained with urine. Truly disgusting and I will not be returning. For $200+ a night, I would not recommend.

Great stay!
This was a wonderful hotel! Staff was super courteous, room and facility extra clean, and very quiet in our room even though it was a busy night. Parking was right behind the building and it was an easy walk to all downtown activities. Definitely 5 stars!
