The hotel was old, but it was the worst.I thought you were at the club. It was so loud until ten o'clock. The walls vibrate. Don't take guests at the wedding.It's not a basic manner.

Beautiful historic building ! Not a mega hotel which is my preference! Beach front, great access Restaurant and bar on site Coffee pot in room Quaint rooms!

There is no onsite parking. When checking in we were told that we have to fine a spot across the street in the strip mall. This was a Sunday and everyone was at the beach. It took us 3 hours to find a parking. Then was told there was wedding and that it should be over by 11. We were given the room right where the music was set up. It’s so loud we can not hear the tv. This should have been told to us before coming. Will ever stay here again

Great location, room was very nice, super close to the beach and I love how old the building is. I hate mentioning how long it took for the shower water to get hot but it took almost 10 minutes and the shower fixtures were falling off. I would definitely stay again.

Overall, for an oceanfront resort you couldn’t beat the price. The hotel needs updating. It definitely has an old historic charm to it. We would definitely stay again. For the price and location it’s a great place to stay.

Charming historic property that has not remodeled the "quaintness" away. Breakfast OK. Beds were comfortable. Suite is spacious. Plumbing needs to be updated.

We love the Casa Marina. It is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely be staying there again.

This property is very old but pretty! The main down fall was the rooms don’t have curtains and when the sun comes up it’s bright! They had construction going on while we were there and were unaware so it was noisy but the staff is very friendly and the breakfast was good.

Place has a great location and the outside looks pretty nice but once we got into the room you can tell that it needs bathroom upgrades, faucets and fans were loud, hot shower took awhile to warm up. Anyway, so excited that it was supposed to be a ‘European hotel boutique’ but wasn’t what we got unfortunately.

This was a very quaint, historical hotel. Very clean, and very comfortable. Near the pier, and within walking distance of alot of the bars and shop's...so long as there is availability we will be staying here when we come to Jacksonville in the future.

I tried putting in a request when booking for a room with an “ocean view” as was advertised as an ‘option’ on the website for my same room type. Since I did not hear back from the property, I called them when a few hours out to see if this could be confirmed, and I was told by the front desk person that it was, in fact, an’ovean-view room” on the second floor of the property. When I arrived a few hours later, it turned out that not only was this untrue, but the room reserved from me was right outside the front desk with a view of the nerving beach parking lot, and also across the hall from a very smelly “liquor room” and near maintenance. I also asked for a room with a bathtub which I was told I would have, as I had a bad back. Coming off my long trip. Not only was there no “stopper” on my tub, but the shower also didn’t work in that the turnstile only worked “half for shower, and the rest bled out into the bathtub.” So disappointing! A few people on staff tried to help me with other needs, including Jeff, but I had already been so disappointed by my experience by then for the untruths I’d been told, and the La luster room accommodations. Also - when I first checked in, my $122 room was charged instead as a $688 room which flagged my credit card company and they shut down my card. What is happening here that we can’t have simple needs met? Hoping the hotel comes through with a better resolve prior to my checking out tomorrow.

This is a beautiful property inside and out. It's located on a beach front near bars and restaurants. The rooftop bar at Casa Marina, called Penthouse Lounge, is romantic and offers great cocktails along with astonishing views of Jacksonville Beach. The room was clean and functional. Loved the minimalist decor with a sense of history. Two areas of improvement in the room include the bed mattress sunk in the middle and the newly installed window shades had no way of closing - there were no other curtains.

Morgan and Kailie at the front desk were very helpfu,l accommodating and pleasant. We had to change rooms on the 2nd floor because the penthouse on the third floor was very loud.

I really enjoyed the rooftop bar and happy hour specials. The rooms however need desperate updating. There was a party and the music was sooooooo loud that our floor was vibrating and it was impossible to sleep. Breakfast was good.

We loved the interior with its trubutes to old Jacksonville, both in decor & structure. Unfortunately, we were unable to get the hot water to work in our shower after running it for over 10 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at the Casa Marine! Loved being right on the beach and how much there was to do within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to visit again!

I love staying here when I come home to visit. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is awesome. It's right on the beach and near the pier. Thank you Jeff for helping me book for an additional night for my daughter and I on our last trip. We will see you again.

It was a great feeling of being in a hotel with such historical story. Also on YouTube found out that ghosts exist on property around room 104. We enjoyed the entire experience.

I love the history of the Casa Marina and the rooms were very clean. I also love the view of the beach and pier from our rooms. My only dislike was on the last morning of our stay we were downstairs eating breakfast and while I was eating at the bar a roach crawled on the bar.

Quaint hotel, great location for walking around. Rooms nice, bathrooms great. Only problem was the bed - very poor condition of the mattress and linens; the pillowcases smelled like they had been allowed to sit in the washer for several days. Staff great other than the surly woman working in the morning on Wednesday, who is more interested in her phone than in your guests.
