Great stay at Coconuts Beach Resort
We had a wonderful four days at Coconuts Beach Resort. Beautiful sunsets as we were on the second floor and got some amazing pictures. Very nice pool area. I highly recommend this property and think you would enjoy your stay there as much as we did. We plan on going back next year. Also located close to everything you need. Did not want to leave!!

We were late arriving and the manager made sure we were able to get in our room and everything was ready. The beach was right outside our door and we had everything we needed.

We had a nice time, the weather was mostly good, my only complaint is the condo could use a good cleaning, I had to clean other guests sticky counters and tables, the dust on the lamps had to be a built up of a year or more, the old furniture should be replaced as it was stained, dirty and uncomfortable, I did cut my trip short because the beds were really uncomfortable. But besides all that, I didn't allow it to ruin my trip because the 3 day drive it took to arrive, it just wouldn't have been worth being unhappy. If it was updated and most of all clean for the over $3,000 CAN it cost for 10 days, it would have been appropriated.

Great Beachfront location
Beautiful location beachfront condo. Great stay except for bed sagged, shower grout needed cleaning. A rental should have beds is good condition.

I loved sitting on the balcony and watch the beautiful sunsets. The pool was a delightful temperature and well maintained. The resort itself is located on beautiful Holmes Beach and near great restaurants, shopping centers and museums. Joyce and Karen were great and helpful

Location was amazing!
Waking up right on the beach and the view was amazing! The downside was the bedroom was very uncomfortable and hot! The living room was cool and thermostat was set on 70. Should have been fine but air did not find its way to bedroom. Beds were really hard and uncomfortable.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. During your stay I did have the air conditioner repairman check the system. It is difficult to get the temperature in the unit below 70 with out causing the system to freeze up. Sorry about the beds being uncomfortable. I am glad you made the best of your vacation under the circumstances and hope you will return.

Right on the beach
Step out the patio door and you're right on the beach. Very nice beach; great sunsets; nice for shell hunters; dolphin watching. We will stay at this place again, but not in room 105. Beds were very hard and creaky. Too warm in the living room in the evening. But we spent very little time in the room. Mostly stayed outside. The rest of the place was very nice and had everything we needed for the week.

Perfect Accommodations
The Coconuts Resort is the perfect beach getaway! This is a condo, not a hotel room and it is amazing. You can walk out the screened lanai to the beach. Trust me, it's worth the extra money to stay in the Gulf view, ground floor condo if you want a fabulous view and easy beach access. I will definitely book here again!!

Great spot. Would recommend to anyone. Lot's of beach stuff to do. Also great restaurants. Great for the family or just couples.

Ok apartment close to the beach!
Do not call it a hotel! This is an apartment not managed very well, not a hotel, no amenities, you have to go to an office to get toilet paper, no room clean up daily. Terrible

STAY AWAY: DIRTY
Our room was beyond filthy, so dirty that the toilet seat had brown dirty poop stuck to the hinges that you could tell had never been cleaned, urine stains on the seat. There were dead bugs in the kitchen, a chunk of long blonde hair stuck to the outside of the microwave with what I hope was old pancake batter. The room had coke splatters on the floor. One night my daughter dropped the remote under the bed, so I went with a flashlight to get it...oh my, there was an inch of thick dust completely covering under the bed. We arrived at night, later after check in and after all the staff had gone home so we had no where to go on the island and no one to complain to. We had taken Clorox wipes and were able to clean. There was no broom and the vacuum was covered in cobwebs. The chairs were all stained. The outside patio had black gunk all over them. The grounds were never taken care of, we would throw away our large kitchen garbage bags in the same trash bin every night and the bag from the night before was still there. No one changed or emptied the bin during our 4 day stay! All the public tables where filthy! One by the pool had the same fork on it for 4 days. There's also a huge sign next to the air that u must keep it at 80 or they'll bill u for excess electricity. And under the rules it says that if they have to do excess cleaning they'll charge u extra!!!! The nerve!!!!! The sheets were clean and we had disinfected everything after the first night so we decided to stay

I appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. Again I apologize for the cleanliness of the unit upon arrival. There were contact numbers in your information packet when you arrived after hours. We would have relocated you to a different room, but your right the unit should have been inspected before your arrival. The issue with the housekeeper being fired was during your stay. You may have misunderstood the sign for the air conditioner the central air conditioning in the units only gets to about 20 degrees less then the temperature outside is why it said to keep the temperature at 76 to 80 the 80 being in the winter for the heat not the air conditioning. You would be surprised how many guest leave the windows and doors open while the air condition is on making the system freeze up and not work. The trash bins located on the property are not for the room trash and are checked a few days a week not everyday. There is a trash area by the parking that says trash. The cleaning fee is a standard statement in the information sheet, we do have guest that leave the units in undesirable condition. I am sorry it offended you. Again I apologize. I completely understand and would be very upset. Thank You Coconuts Joyce

Weathet was hit and miss as Emily came through during our stay, view was awesome from room. that was the best out of entire stay.

Relaxed "Old Florida" beach condo w/ pool...
Clean. No busy streets to cross for beach. Heated pool. Well-stocked kitchen. Great location. Quiet & safe. My family and I found this unit to be simple and comfortable. We also especially loved that we did not have to cross a busy street with our kids in order to get to the beach. Even though the unit is not specifically a beachfront unit in this condo complex, it is a very short and easy walk to get to the beach. The laundry facilities use quarters, so bring plenty of change if you're planning on washing clothes . All in all, we loved our stay at Coconuts. If you're looking for a simple and budget-friendly vacation rental on Anna Maria Island, we highly recommend Coconuts!

Can't Beat the Beach Front Location
Older, slightly dated property on a beautiful beach location. Comfortable room with well stocked kitchen. Our room even came with beach chairs and umbrella. This was a life-saver because we flew in. Well kept grounds. Beautiful pool.

seriously dated rooms over priced never saw anybody cleaning the pool for 5 days you pay for the view and location nothing more they still have VHS movie library have not moved on its tired needs overhaul

Veraltete und schmutzige Zimmer
Wir buchten für das Memorial-Day Weekend das Unit 109. Das Zimmer war an diesem Weekend sehr teuer (245 $ pro Nacht ohne Taxe). Der Ausblick vom Balkon auf den Strand war wirklich schön...leider war dies auch schon das einzige positive. Unser Unit war wie erwartet etwas veraltet...alte Möbel, teils auch defekt. Der Zustand der Möbel hat uns aber nicht weiters gestört. Was uns überaus gestört hat war die Sauberkeit im ganzen Unit! Schon beim betretten des Units bemerkten wir den fleckigen Plattenboden. Auch der Boden in der Küche und im Wohnzimmer waren voller Schmutz. Sogar auf dem Sofa und Wohnzimmerteppich waren noch Essensreste zu sehen. Und in den Ecken Haare, tote Insekten, usw. lm Bad fanden wir noch Haare von den Vormietern. Das Unit wurde vor unserer Anreise offensichtich nicht gereinigt. Im Schlafzimmer unter den Betten fanden wir schliesslich noch einen dicken Staubteppich - hier wurde scheinbar schon seit Wochen nicht mehr gesaugt. Auch die Möbel voller Staub. Das ganze Unit war einfach nur eckelhaft! Und dies zu diesem Preis. Wir können auf Grund dessen dieses Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen. Auch mit der schönen Lage darf sich ein Hotel so etwas einfach nicht erlauben. Nie wieder!!!

Dated unit, needed more cleaning than provided. Linen service was very good. Beds however were terrible, hard and made noises every time you moved. Blinds broken so people could see in bedroom area. Living room furniture in need of cleaning and couch groaned every time you sat down or moved. The curtains were very dirty. The pool area and beach were good. it was nice and quiet. This could be a great place with a few changes. I fully understand it is a rental and that not everyone cares for things the way they should, which is really sad.

Nice heated pool and beautiful beach.
This older hotel/condo comes with basic needs with a kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the decor pleasing with a beach theme. Clean and simple, balcony overlooking the beach to watch the sunset and enjoy breakfast outside. Walk to the popular Sandbar Restaurant. Get around the island with the free Monkey Bus. A nice place for a Girls' Weekend.

Local excelente. Não é um hotel, é um condomínio.
Adorei a localização do condomínio. Ao chegar no local, tive a maior decepção quando soube que não era um hotel, mas um condomínio. Não havia carregador, não tinha limpeza diária no apartamento e a recepção só funcionava até às 17:00h. Quando fiz a reserva, achava que era um resort, pois o nome é Coconut Beach Resort. O colchão dos três apartamentos que fiquei eram horríveis. Estendi minha estada, pois o lugar é lindo, uma praia paradisíaca e os apartamentos bons, com uma vista espetacular.
