Don’t believe the pictures
Don’t believe the pictures. First, no instructions were given on which rooms or how to get in. All the furnishings are about 40 years old, including the towels. The pots and pans were black, old and smelly. The apartment smelled like a restaurant of fried food. Garage was stacked outside. Patio furniture was old, broken, and dirty. The contact was not accommodating. Prices were inflated on hotels.com over other hotel sights.

Einfaches Gästehaus mit Küche und Schlafzimmer. Möbel und Ausstattung sehr einfach aber sauber, Kaffee, Tee und Zucker war vorhanden; Vorort zunächst nur telefonischer Kontakt, dann mit einem Hausmeister der weder englisch noch deutsch kannte. Erst bei Abreise ein kurzer Besuch des Verwalters zwecks Personalien. Ein ruhiges Plätzchen zum Übernachten ohne hohe Ansprüche.

Good for a night, not for a long stay.
The mini apartments aren't what you can expect, the kitchen isnt usable, the rest of the furnitures are dirty and old. Good wifi and free parking though.

L’hotel est loin de tout, et il n’y a personne que parle ou anglais ou français, que hebreu ou russe! Pas de supermarché dans le coin.. pas de restaurant. En plus, la rue qu’amene à l’hotel Est en morceaux et celle qu’amene N’a pas de panneau pour l’indique ! Si on sait tout ça.... après l’hotel En soit n’est pas mal!!! Climatisation, cuisine..

Ok place where you need a car to get around
This place needs more properly installed power points, including near a mirror. The owner sent a nice lady for checkin, but she did not speak english. If a property is on hotels.com there needs to be advice as to what language is spoken.

Gute Ferienwohng in abseits gelegenem Ort amTotenM
Neve Zehar ist etwas abgelegen am Toten Meer gelegen, die Fereienwohnung Zimmer Dora befindet sich in einer Reihenhaussiedlung am Ortsrand. Mit dem Auto ist man in 5 Minuten in En Bokek mit schönen Stränden, Gaststätten und Geschäften. Von der Vermieterin bekommt man sogar Gutscheine für Strandstühle. In der Fereinwohnung selbst war alles in Ordnung (Klimaanlage, Fernseher, Kühlschrank, WLAN vorhanden). Auto ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Horriblement cher pour une prestation médiocre
Guest house au confort plus que sommaire. Prix réellement surévalué Peinture et mobilier à rénover, pas de rideaux ni de volets au fenêtres. Personnel d’accueil parlant un anglais approximatif. Heureusement la beauté du site de la Mer Morte compense cet établissement médiocre. La plage privée est une fable, zone en travaux.

If you go by yourself or two, you would not feel safe because it is too far from normal Dead Sea resort area

Go somewhere else!
We arrived at night and no one met us. A neighbor called owner to ask what we should do. Mattress on bed was terrible and my husband slept on couch. Go somewhere else. Overpriced and no service.

Very nice place, the best value for money
Stayed 1 night, three persons. The place is very quiet and relaxing. The owner was very friendly and helpful, offered several rooms to choose, and accommodated all our requests. The rooms are spacious and clean. Great patio with barbeque. Close to beaches. Strongly recommend to everyone.

Det var smutsigt och inte städat med kladd på bord golv och fjärrkontroll, mm. Oerhört lyhört med ljudliga grannar. En extrasäng som var som en hängmatta. Tråkig omgivning.

Appartement vieillissant et pas forcément entretenu. A 5 minutes en voiture des commerces et de la plus belle plage de la Mer morte. Bien pour une nuit mais chère par rapport aux prestations (proximité de la mer morte oblige!)

Petit hotel dans le village de Neve Zohar sur la mer Morte. Propriétaire accueillant et sympathique. Chambre de base sans autre intérêt que la proximité de la mer. Le village est typique mais n'offre aucun resto ou bars pour se divertir, il faut aller à Ein Bokek tout près. Un peu cher comme rapport qualité /prix.

Het hotel is geen hotel maar een appartementje. Erg klein en basic, maar okay. Er zijn bijna geen voorzieningen dus je zult zelf voor je eten en drinken moeten zorgen. Prima voor een nachtje te verblijven om te kunnen 'zwemmen' in de dode zee. Dat kan alleen echter 5kilometer verderop dus je zult zelf vervoer moeten hebben. Achter hotel leonardo ligt de public beach met een openbare parkeerplaats. Vergeet niet te betalen in de parkeer automaat. Eventuele inkopen kunnen even verderop in een klein winkelcentrum gedaan worden, maar let op het is er erg duur (alles is gericht op de toeristen).

Nice alternative to the very expensive resort options in Ein Bokek. We wanted just a place to sleep before early departure to climb the Snake Trail at Masada. Didn't realize that check-in needed to be done by a certain time, so we had to call the number to find that our room was ready and the key was left in the door. Room overall clean, but very basic and had little tiny ants on the tile floor.

Appartement agréable et bien organisé. Quartier calme et climatisation optimale. Check In aisé, mais check out un peu militaire si on dépasse de quelques minutes 11h du matin. Bon rapport qualité/prix si l'on dispose d'un véhicule. A proscrire si l'on est piéton.

Zimmer Dora n'est pas une chambre d'hôtes. Le propriétaire habite à Arad et a visiblement beaucoup de choses à faire (à commencer par s'occuper d'autres locations) avant de s'occuper de ses voyageurs. Quand nous avons compris dans notre bus (nous venions d'Eilat) que notre chauffeur nous arrêterais (dans la nuit, sous la pluie avec nos deux enfants) à environ 5 km de Zimmer Dora nous lui avons téléphoné. Réponse, sèche et courte : "Vous n'aurez qu'à prendre un taxi, rappelez-moi quand vous y serez." Une fois sur place, nous sonnons. Personne. 10 bonnes minutes passent. Il finit par nous répondre, toujours aussi sèchement, qu'il n'est pas là parce que le check-in se termine à 18.00 (ceci n'était noté nul part) et qu'il lui faut au moins 20 minutes pour arriver (avec son terminal de paiement CB, il est vrai...)Je passe sur la coupure d'électricité dont nous nous sommes débrouillé tout seul et les conditions (toujours aussi aimables) dans lesquelles nous avons, le lendemain, récupéré nos bagages avant de partir... Bref, la maison est plutôt sympathique et la mer Morte un endroit à voir mais le propriétaire est un commerçant sans états d'âme, pas un hôte.

Convenient option for the budget conscious.
Once again me being cheap I decided to take a risk and picked this place. So here we go. I drove my rented car there, the address is not accurate, I had to call the hotel phone number and a person gave me directions once in Neve Zehar. These are efficiency apartments being rented for the night. They are located in an alley, but there is a parking lot very close. The tiny room manages to have a sink, electric stove, a mini fridge, and it is a air conditioned. The room was recently renovated using nice materials and finishes. There is an outdoor sitting area outside the apartment shared with the next door room. The public beach was a short 5 min drive north, next to big hotels, parking with a fee, showers, restaurants, etc. Everything would have been perfect if it wasn't because our next door neighbor smokes and had to leave the room every 10 mins at 7am and slammed the door every time. We only stayed one night so I cannot speak for room service. There is no front desk, no lobby, I didn't got to see the person I spoke with over the phone. I must say they sent me an email to confirm I was going to check in that night, because I arrived very late at night.

Low budget apartment at Dead Sea
A small apartment with basic amenities only, but clean. Friendly service. Relatively low price for Dead Sea region - that is why we booked it. Perfect for those traveling on low budget. Not advisable for those expecting a Western style hotel...

Good cheap option instead of chain hotels
Good cheap accommodation at Dead Sea for those that don't want to stay in a big hotel. Room is very basic but everything worked well and Roni who let us in and gave u advice in the area was very welcoming. Added touch of Dead Sea mud package gift was nice and was put to good use.
