Lovely, relaxing place
Really lovely place. Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast supplies. Good location for national parks and short drive into Kenilworth. Very relaxing.

What an amazing few days away. We loved the quiet, pristine and isolated location. Be aware there is no phone reception, and no wifi - but this ended up being exactly what we needed.

Barb and Lloyd's property is amazing. My wife and I enjoyed their hospitality and time off to recharge batteries. The cabins are very modern and all we needed was available to us. Great place to go away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend it :-)

Bush retreat
Our second trip in a few weeks,plenty food for breakfast,wine and cheese platter fresh fruit and walks galore. Plus no coverage so not disturbed

The perfect getaway for a relaxing couple of days. Totally clean, beautifully appointed, perfect views and peace, peace, peace. Our host Barb was friendly and very generous in providing absolutely we could wish for including a great breakfast. We loved it and will be back?

Welcoming hosts, negligible internet, quiet, magnificent views, excellent well appointed cottage, welcoming wine and cheese, quality ingredients for a cook yourself at your leisure breakfast, personally delivered morning croissants!

A tranquil couples retreat on a hill, almost 360 degree views, a large spa bath with candles and a view, a spacious kitchen, large bathroom, King bed and verandah. Turn off your phone (no coverage in this valley) and enjoy a quiet break with a book, music or DVDs while sheep, cattle, and goats graze nearby. Surprisingly close to Brisbane. The scenic drive to get there has great scenery with some steep, rural roads. 10-minute drive to shops.

Great Aussie Eco Getaway !
Yabbaloumba Retreat was unexpectedly enjoyable......abit off the beaten track but very worthwhile. One is treated to spectacular Australian panoramic views and nature (bird watching) at it's best. WIFI and cellphone availability would have been good to have and also alternate days house cleaning. There is no restaurant at the retreat, so visitors will need to bring their own food, altho we were presented with a lovely Xmas hamper, with wine. The nearest town is Kenilworth, about 5 kms away, where there are restaurants & cafes. Otherwise, it was a great "chill" stay and we came away fully re-charged and rested !

Thank you for the feedback. Our Christmas Package did not include breakfast or dinner hampers but with prior notice, hampers could have been provided at an additional cost. The Santa Hamper included included an array of local produce, snack items and keep sakes. The views and access to nature as well as farmed animals are without a doubt magic and we are pleased to read you were well rested and comfortable.

Perfect get away with no technology
Relaxing trip away with no distractions from anyone. Beautiful little cheese plate and wine on arrival. Barb is a lovely lady. All you can hear is cows mooing and birds whistling. Will be back again.

Perfect room, nicely appointed! Wine and cheese platter on arrival was brilliant! Would stay again in a heartbeat!!! It might be time to replace the mattress, you could feel the base through the mattress.

Relaxing, peaceful and beautiful
We had the most amazing time. The property is incredible and so relaxing. No reception which allows you to switch off and get away properly. There was a cheese platter and bottle of wine on our arrival and breakfast every morning. It was the perfect getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful rural setting
Set in sunshine coast hinterland beautifull self contained cabins where you can do as much or as little as you wish.6km from Kenilworth. Loved the spa also warmth of the gas heater of an evening. Lovely hot croissant delivered at 8am to go with breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Extending a week away
The owners are so thoughtful. To tranquil music playing when we entered the cabin to bacon for breakfast and fresh crossiants delivered in the morning. To being able to borrow dvds to watch. And the view from the back porch was amazing. Diffently a retreat. Very happy we found it. Hope to be back.

A relaxing getaway!
We loved our stay at Yabbaloumba Retreat. Our hosts and staff we friendly and very accommodating. Welcome treats and daily breakfast were a nice touch. The views were beautiful every minute of our stay. Highly recommend and would return for another relaxing weekend away.

Great Getaway From it All
From the moment you arrive you feel your stress levels subside. The beautiful surroundings of the property are breathtaking. The cabins are perfectly setup for that romantic getaway. From the wine and cheese to the candles and breakfast provisions everything was perfect. Thank you to our hosts.

I was looking for a quiet night away from PEOPLE! Yabbaloumba was perfect. Stunning location and only the bellbirds and cows for company. Beautiful rooms with all the creature comforts, you won't want to move off your deck!

Perfect country getaway
From the time we arrived, and were greeted at the gate, we felt welcome and special. Check in was simple and quick. Our private cottage was impeccably clean, spacious, beautifully decorated with soothing music on arrival. The fridge was laden with chilled wine and cheese platter, complimentary, and breakfast was already delivered as well. We had a picturesque outlook from our verandah, where we could look over the rolling hills and see a family of geese, cows and horses coming back from a day out. The bed was very comfortable and the spa was so relaxing. DVD's were available to borrow with no fuss. The lack of internet coverage meant we could really shut ourselves off from the busyness of our usual lives. We enjoyed a hike around the property to explore a little. As we are usually frequent visitors or the Kenilworth area, we didn't venture past a couple or trips into town, except for supplies. Overall, our stay was most enjoyable and very relaxing. We would definitely love to come visit again soon.

Amazing beautiful retreat
We enjoyed our anniversary at Yabbaloumba and couldn't fault it. Secluded 5 star accomodation at its best . Beautiful cottage with King bed , fantastic spa and amazing views. If you're looking for romance then this is it .
