We arrived in very hot weather and were so grateful for the air conditioning, pool, and amazing rooftop spa. The complex has beautifully kept gardens, and the service was excellent. .

Beware. You may not get the room you paid for.
I've never wrote a bad review before but this was a terrible experience. Booked a 1 bedroom superior apartment with a rooftop spa in advance. On arrival, I was assigned a completely different room with no rooftop access. No communication about this from management. Note, the only reason I chose this hotel was for the private spa and rooftop BBQ area. They answered my phone call straight away when enquiring about key access (there's no reception) and again about parking (parking allocation was incorrect). Then failed to answer after entering the room to discover it wasn't the room I booked. Followed up with an email to give them a chance to rectify the issue. No response. Poor management not taking responsibility. When booking accomodation, I expect it to be what it says it is. Never had this problem until now. Disappointing stay.

Great price. Easy to check in and check out! Location was perfect - easy to walk to the shops, beach, and dining precincts. Room had everything you could need for your stay and more. Ocean views were a bonus!

Stayed here to participate in the Sunshine Coast Marathon. Booked a room that had a rooftop spa which was great following the race for aches and pains! Private rooftop area with great views. The room was spacious and quiet. Surrounding residences and streets were also quiet and safe. Very easy to walk into Alex Heads or Mooloolaba as well.

The Unit we stayed in was quite comfortable for 2 people. It was showing its age and could do with a freshen up with paint and new flywire. Property Manager Kevin was very easy to communicate with. The only unfortunate matter is the renovations being conducted next to Ocean Vista on Alex hence, early wake ups from jack hammers etc…..I feel very sad for all complexes around this area as it’s going to be quite some time before they’re completed.

I found this property to be not what was advertised, the property is filthy marks on doors grime on floors, just disgusting, also we took our 80 year old aunt there for a holiday and she fell coming down the stairs leading to reception as there was no lighting when we told them we were politely told that you have to push the black buttons on the wall, this was at 5.30 at night the lighting should of been on, no incident report done nothing, would never stay here again or recommend anyone too

The apartment and property were great except for the cockroaches that came out at night and ants in one of the bathrooms. With some pest control the place would have been rated excellent. The timing of our stay just happened to coincide an issue with construction happening at a site next door. The workers were waking us up around 6.30/6.45am each day making sleep-ins impossible. Minus these 2 things I'd stay again.

The place is big, clean, quiet and beautiful. Chloe to the beach. The jacuzzi is soooo nice! The owners are amazing, so gentle and kind! Definitely coming back!

Primo location - super close to Mooloolaba beach and restaurants as well as Maroochydore. On the downside… the apartment is dated, tired and could do with a good clean (the dust!). There was mould on the ceiling of the second bedroom (because the dryer in the bathroom right next door vents into the apartment and there isn’t an extraction fan). There was a chest fridge in the dining area because the main fridge was faulty. The spa and terrace we paid extra for is EXTERNAL to the apartment - not attached or adjacent. This means we didn’t use it nearly as much as we thought we would. The spa has seen better days - it has rotted wood on the exterior and the controls are worn down… it simply doesn’t get that hot and doesn’t have a proper cover to retain heat. The BBQ takes an hour to heat up and doesn’t retain heat well so you need to take that into account (we used it once). The pool looked dirty - we finally saw it being cleaned towards the end of our stay and it was amazing the difference it made. The manager is pleasant but didn’t seem to take our concerns seriously. Beware - he closes early - actually catching him at his office or getting him to answer the phone is a fluke! He tried to make us feel that we were being petty or demanding - our concerns were not small (I’ve just listed the big ones here) and shouldn’t have been brushed off or negated. We decided not to let this ruin our holiday for the sake of our kids, but it definitely wasn’t what we promised them.

Thank you for your review.Yes, there is a some lingering dusts caused by the building development next to us.The extra chest fridge is there for your convenience, being a family unit, it is appreciated by many to store all those extra cold drinks, beer and wine when needed.The bathroom vents are silently working well, no mould in either bathrooms. The discolouration on the ceiling in the second bedroom was a treated patch caused by a rooftop leak, now fixed.All the websites clearly state the rooftop Spa area IS EXTERNAL.The BQQ is slow, it is electric, it takes a while to heat and yes, will need replacing. Thank you for that input as we have had no other complaints about it.The pool creepy cleaner was waiting for a part, it arrived! The dust from the building works did affect its clarity for a few days, all good now.

Very clean, great facilities. A/C worked beautifully!!! We needed the heater!! Hot tub was a godsend after competitions! Very relaxing. Well appointed kitchen, all utensils you would need were there, even sharp knives!!! We would stay here again!

The private rooftop spa area had beautiful views, and handy BBQ facilities. Great location, easy walking distance to restaurants. Staff were all lovely. Apartment was very clean, nicely furnished and kitchen was well equipped. Would absolutely stay here again.

The property was clean but dated with kitchen cabinets and stove fan falling down. The fridge was not cold and the air con was too small for the unit making the bedrooms unbearably hot during the night. The washing machine didn’t work on spin cycle. The views from the roof were nice and the pool was well maintained.

Everything you need - Highly recommended
Lovely stay. Close walking distances to beautiful restaurants and amenities. Room was clean and tidy. Pool and BBQ area was very well maintained. Would be great for families. The unit itself was 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and one of the best equipt units we have been to. Plenty of washing up needs, pans, cups, cutlery, glasses etc etc, everything you could possibly need.

If management were made aware of this problem we could have appealed to the other guests to smoke elsewhere
