Communication from Agent was poor. Waited 1 hour outside before we could get in on check in day. Very noisy location with traffic, i couldn’t sleep.

A few unique and fine detail touches that made our stay so delightful. The wind protected patio, complete with fairy lights and heater. Comfortable bed, plenty of pillows and quality linen. Tastey local bubbles in the fridge and push bikes provided to make it easier to access local area. Super friendly owner on sight. We had a great stay. Thank you so much

Situated right over the water, property gave spectacular views over the river. Spotless interior and everything looked nice and fresh. Nice outside area for relaxing with a coffee and taking in the river. Probably one of the most unique and best places we have stayed.

hese studios are a hidden gem in a beautiful town of Goolwa. We stayed in Studio No 2, which is located right over water in an incredibly romantic setting. With peaceful river views and lovely sunsets we had little desire to leave the studio. And there was no need to go out in the evening because everything was there, a well-equipped kitchenette and a bottle of champagne thoughtfully left for us by our kind hosts. The room was tastefully decorated and our bed was comfortable. It was like sleeping on a luxury boat without the motion sickness. The bathroom was spacious and modern with a great shower. In Boat Heaven studio we felt as on a mini honeymoon. We hope to return to this magic place someday.

It was fantastic to be right on the river with amazing views and water lapping around you. Studio 1 was private, immaculately presented and had everything you need. Rebecca was very friendly and helpful.

Loved how close to the water it is and very peaceful at night. Can lie in bed and look at the boats, birds and water. Very comfortable amenities, well equipped. On the downside the toilet door needs a shove with your hip to open it and one bedside lamp didn’t work. I also noticed the windows don’t have screens on them, so hot weather might mean mosquitoes.

Everything about the property was great starting with the interaction with the owners who were so obliging and very pleasant to the actual accommodation which had everything you could want to the undercover alfresco which had lovely views of the river. Everything was presented in a very tasteful manner. Thoroughly recommend it!!

Fabulous place to stay
We couldn't have been happier with our stay. We were in studio 2, which had an incredible view across the little marina and river. So quiet at night, just the sound of water lapping gently beneath the studio. Like being in a boathouse, albeit a luxuriously equipped one. Loved the high ceilings, the airy feel and the little treats thoughtfully provided by the hosts. Looking forward to staying again some day.

Excellent location on the river. If you love the sound of water lapping on the sides of a boat then Studio 1 is definitely for you. What a pleasant way to be lulled to sleep. Good kitchen amenities are provided, including a BBQ, as well as names of local restaurants. A couple of points to note are that the studio and bathroom are both small, so not a lot of room for storing bags; and some of the usual bathroom amenities weren't provided, e.g. shower gel/soap or tissues.

Hi AndrewI'm sorry if our cleaner didn't the stock but check but we do supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash (all organic) as well as tissues.

Wonderful stay on the river
Our 2 night stay at Boat Haven Studios was fabulous. We stayed in unit 2 and the views of the river were wonderful, we felt as though we were on the river. The unit itself was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower and also good heating. We were greeted by the owner who was very informative and friendly. Another very nice touch was a bottle of sparkling wine which we enjoyed. Overall it was a great stay in a very peaceful environment

Fantastic place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Boat Haven Studios. We were in apartment one and it was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was great having the BBQ on the deck to cook dinner on and close enough to town to walk to cafes/restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Good communication with the hosts so check-in was easy and Rebecca was great with helping to sort out how to return an item that we left behind. Loved being right on the water and would definitely stay there again!

We loved everything about our stay. The studio is sensationally located on the water in the heart of a marina. It was so well appointed, clean, & has everything you need. It's a lovely 15 minute stroll to the great dining & shopping area of Goolwa, with Victor Harbor and wine districts just a short drive. The hosts, Bec & Peter were sensational. They were so friendly & accommodating, so was their resident mascot Carl the Carp. We love staying in Goolwa, & this will now be the only place at which we'll consider staying.

This place is truly one of the best places we have stayed in. The owner was very pleasant and helpful and had prepared the room beautifully. I would have no problem recommending Goolwa boat haven as among the best in South Australia

A great place to stay.
We had an amazing time and we loved it. Would highly recommend staying here, it is right on the river and there are three studio's to stay in. The owners were very nice and accommodating and we're eager to do anything to make your stay better. We stayed in studio one and I actually fished from our veranda (successfully I might add). Lots of places to visit in the local area. Will be back....
