Our family with 3 teenagers had a great time! We enjoyed the pool, feeding eels, the jumping pad and the funky little bikes. The best part was walking across the street to the beach each morning to watch the sunrise and then eating breakfast at the cafe down the street. Clean facilities and had everything we needed. Hope to return one day!

The room was very clean. Linens available for all beds with bath towels and swim towels for all guests. Proximity to beach is wonderful. Would love to stay there all summer.

Love the play areas for children. Our unit was well appointed with a full sized fridge-freezer, Sky TV, private balcony and comfy beds. Lovely lady at reception was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back here.

We came for a girls' trip weekend away, and our self-contained unit was perfect. We enjoyed the pool and spa, and the park was so clean and well kept. Check-in at reception was easy and welcoming, and we were given lots of useful information for our stay and where to eat and visit. Short walk to beach and access to local walking tracks. Just beautiful! Will definitely be back.

The right place for me
The Tasman Holiday Park in Waihi Beach is quite densly packed with chalets, but still feels comfortble. My house was cozy and had everything one would expect in an everage place. A big attraction is the heated swimming pool. Staff is friendly and attentative .

Amazing location
Location is amazing. Just a walk across the street to the beach. Surf Life savers present even in February. Enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub as well as coin laundry. 2 bedroom ensuite was near shower/ toilets building so it was easy to have 4 adults to use ensuite showers and clean showers in building just outside our unit 23. Sofabed not as comfortable. Beds were comfortable in bedrooms.

Good enough
Our stay was good. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and well equipped. However the walls are seriously way too thin, if you have someone next to you, you will hear absolutely every little movement. Also, the bathrooms could be cleaned better.

The Beachside Motel 2B was awesome. Beds very comfortable. Got a bit of a view of the ocean from the deck which was great. Pool and spa fantastic. Loved the game room. Great location easy access to the beach, walks and great shop nearby for food, supplies and great takeaways. We had a fantastic 2days even when the weather wasnt great. Thanks.

My Accommodation was a pleasant surprise. The house was spacious and well equipped. The Tasman holiday park has a large pool as well as a gym. The park is clean and green !

We loved our mini family break away. The holiday park had great facilities that we enjoyed and the beach was a very short walk away. The staff were lovely. We would definitely stay again. If I had to comment on something we did not enjoy it would be the glass bin right outside our bedroom window when people used it late at night.

Subpar standard for $200 per night
Was given incorrect room type at check in. Didn't realise this until I got back to the property at night (by then the reception was closed). Had to buzz for the night manager, who insisted I had booked a cabin when I booked the motel room. And wanted me to pay extra price difference to get the motel room ? After an internal review, it turned out to be an issue with their system, and this was resolved later on the night. The motel room was in average condition for a $200 / night property, and had ant infestation. Would highly recommend bringing sealed containers if staying for extended period or preparing food.
