Lovely quiet unit located near the beach. The owners were super helpful in checking in and providing advice on visiting nearby sites. The room was a good size and does have a private bathroom but it is located outside of the unit.

excellent location to see the kangaroos
The place is beautiful! It has everything you need, a short wal from the beach (you cant swim unless it is in the enclosure and only with high tide) and super clean!. The owner was super kind, and explained everything to get to see the kangaroos. The bathroom is detached, which was a little odd, but it was private and super clean.

Great lokation, the place to stay in if you are going to Seaforth. Near the beach. We rented the fully supplied appartment on the upper floor with big terass.

Es ist eine kleine Unterkunft mit 4 oder 5 Einheiten. Nach der Ankunft müssten wir nur kurz klingeln und die Besitzerin stand bereit. Sie hat uns alles toll erklärt und und Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Die Wohnungen sind einfach eingerichtet, aber alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man hatte das Gefühl das die Besitzer ihren Job gerne und mit viel Liebe machen. Gerne wieder.

The lady at the reception was very kind. She advised us on activities around the place and was exceptionally welcoming. It felt more like visiting someone's home than a hotel. Small take back: toilets are not ensuite but located outside.

Gute Ausgangslage für Cape Hillsborough
Wir übernachteten im Seaforth Holiday Units, um am nächsten Morgen die Kängurus am Cape Hillsborough zu sehen. Dafür war die Unterkunft bestens geeignet. Die Anfahrt zum Cape beträgt ca. 15min. Die Zimmer waren einfach aber sauber. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass sich das Badezimmer nicht im selben Zimmer befindet. Dies befindet sich ausserhalb in einem anderen Raum. Jedes Zimmer hat aber ein eigenes Badezimmer welches nicht durch andere Personen benutzt wird. Sehr freundliche Betreiberin, welche zahlreiche Tipps für Ausflüge gibt. Wifi vorhanden und gut.

Great spot if you are coming to Cape Hillsboro to see the kangaroos in the morning. The motel is exactly as advertised and I would definitely stay here again if visiting the location for the kangaroos.

Comfortable and friendly; great service
The property managers are very efficient and went out of their way to make our stay stress-free. Jason repaired our flat tyre using a professional tubeless tyre repair kit, which he magically pulled from his vehicle. That saved us days of angst on New Years Eve. Thank you so much 😊😊 Loved the BBQ area out the back with all the utensils hot plate, wok burner and even a gas-fired pizza oven! We had everything we needed, especially being next door to one of the two convenience stores in town, they had all the basic grocery items, a great selection of good quality vacuum-packed meats and frozen meals as well as takeaway food, beer and wine. Room was comfortable and had kitchen amenities with a good-sized fridge/freezer; not a bar fridge. Kids slept well on the double bunks.

Not too many choices to stay in the near area, but this one is a winner! Clean rooms and grounds, ridiculously friendly owners and excellent outside space. We enjoyed some down-time in their backyard patio with tables, chairs, and tons of cooking/grilling options. Our boys even enjoyed a little cricket from a set the owner pulled out for them. We were offered the use of kayaks too, but alas, did not have enough time. Hopefully we'll be able to revisit as this spot is a gem.

Overnight stay
Wanted to stay close to Cape Hillsborough to watch the kangaroos on the beach at dawn. The outdoor kitchen facilities were amazing so really pleased we had planned to cook in that night and kids and hubby were happy with all the films available in the room. Had a very pleasant stay and very friendly owners. Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable friendly place. Had everything we needed (wifi, AC, kitchen). Had to insert a few coins to use laundry, and dryer only available during office hours. Seaforth is a pretty sleepy little town with easy access to Cape Hillsborough beaches, wallabies, and kangaroos.

Nice stay. Comfortable big double bed. Beautiful little garden place at the back where we could eat a snack for dinner (which we got next door) and where we could relax in the evening. Nice surprise! Nice lady at arrival who explained everything and told at what time best to wake up to see the wallabies and kangaroos in CapeHillsborough.

It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable with great pillows. My only downer was the fact the the ensuit was not part of the room and I was not aware of this. As a single female traveller this was a little concerning but the area appeared to be quite safe

Thanks for your review Ray.! We have a few different room styles one of which is our small studio with a separate bathroom but it is private to your room, so sorry you missed this in the listing. I did offer our one bedroom with en-suite on arrival at a discounted price but you chose to stick to the original booking price wise, I had hoped this didn't make your stay too uncomfortable if you where not completely happy with the set up, so our apologies.

holiday units close to beach
Upon arrival I immediately had a wonderful vibe from our host as she was very friendly and helpful about the local attractions. Room was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Bathroom not located in our room but only few steps away and for our own convenience not shared and i was pleasantly surprised how clean it was. Only stayed 1 night but would love to return and most certainly recommend staying here.

Perfect hosts!
Stayed here a couple of nights to go and see the Cape Hillsborough kangaroos but wish we’d stayed longer. The owners, Tracey & Jason, are the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The en suite apartment was perfect for our family of 4, spotlessly clean and great facilities. Lovely garden area too. Loved using their kayaks at gorgeous Seaforth Beach and wish we’d had time to use the bikes to explore the area more. Loved this place!

We loved this place!
As a family of 4 we stayed in the one bedroom en suite apartment with its own outdoor deck and bbq and use of a pretty communal garden area. The owners, Tracy & Jason, could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful, offering us free use of their bicycles and kayaks, the latter of which we had great fun using at the beautiful Seaforth beach - only a couple of minutes walk from the units. They also spent a lot of time giving us tips about the local area and for the next stop on our road trip at Airlie Beach. There is a small shop next door where you can pick up a few groceries, but knowing there were no large supermarkets nearby, we took most of our supplies with us. We, personally, found that to be part of the magic of Seaforth, it is fairly small, quiet and totally unspoilt and has such a lovely feel about it. It was the perfect base from which to visit the Cape Hillsborough Beach kangaroos at sunrise, another magical experience which we'll never forget. We only booked for 2 nights in order to see the roos however we all really wished we could have stayed for longer. Thank you Tracy & Jason for a really wonderful stay. P.S. we booked Ocean Rafting for our day trip to Whitehaven Beach and they were just as fabulous as you said!

Fantastic getaway
Amazing experience! We were only there 1 night but the Owner Tracey was so accommodating and lovely! The room had everything you needed and the location was a great small town hidden away from the chaos!

We have different room styles some with separate bathrooms private to each room, unfortunately its hard for us to explain this to guests who book on line but l do offer guests the option on arrival as to which room style if available.

Great location for a beach or fishing holiday
Was a great experience even though did not meet the staff all arrangements were made and fixed up to make transactions run smoothly. The rooms are just great being fully self contained with everything a person could need. Beds are comfortable as well.

Lovely place away from Mackay hussle
Really nice place to stay. Quiet area by The beach. There is a garage next door that sells all basics if needed. The rooms themselves are large and clean. With all the facilities you need. Although the bathroom is separate it is still personal to your room. The owners are both very friendly and accomadating. Happy to help and can't do enough for you. I actually stayed here 3 nights as the cyclone made it difficult to get accommodation in Airlie. So I was quick to book same place again...here. Also close to Cape Hillsborough for kangaroo beach if u don't mind rising b4 the sun does. Overall a pleasant stay with my only complaint being slightly noisy air con. Otherwise I'd happily return. Thankyou

Super comfortable suite at a very affordable price
Just about the only accommodation option outside of the local caravan park, this little gem of a place offers fantastic rooms and amenities, including an outdoor BBQ area that has its own little pizza oven. The owners are very helpful and you can hire kayaks and bikes on-site.

Great mini family getaway
Perfect location and super comfy room with everything we needed. We especially liked the extras they provided like the outdoor BBQs (including oil, paper towel and utensils), bike hire, DVDs, sporting equipment, outdoor shower, and covered parking.
