Our cottage is in a good location with a great sea view. The cottage was well equipped and the only downside was the very saggy mattress on the bed.

Good size and location, but hot and unhygienic
The cottage is very well located and has easy access to everything. However, no room service is provided unless the booking is more than 7 days. the cottage is overloaded with large and small cockroaches. There is no one at the property. The office was shut on departure day (1st of Jan) and had no drop box to leave the key despite handing over the keys being the only option instructed by the property manager. The view from the back outside area is great, but inside the cottage is at least 10 degrees warmer than outside, regardless of leaving all the windows open and fans on.

I liked the location and layout of the cottage. It was like being at home. It was spick and span with an oven and cooktop as well as a microwave. Bed very comfy and lots of hot water.

You can't do better than this
We highly recommend Ocean Breeze Cottages. The cottages are all identical, one-bedroom units with all kitchen amenities included. The bedroom is on the sunset side, so can get a little warm in the afternoon. An overhead fan assists circulation. The high number units have a superior few of the ocean. WiFi is a little patchy and is strongest in the community room. Each unit has a patio facing the ocean side with lovely cooling breezes. The location is close to Burnt Pine but a hire car would be essential. The only negative on this is that checkout is early at 10am and the car had to be back by 10.30 which I found ridiculously old-fashioned as our flight didn't leave until 3pm, yet we paid fo all day hire!

Home in the country
Great spot, not over looked by anyone. Great view of Phillip Island. Quiet, close enough to get your steps in to walk to town and back.

This was a property where we had stayed on a previous occasion. Once again it has lived up to our expectations. Just outside walking distance from Burnt Pine shops, but not a problem as a hire car is required for any visit to the island. It has a great, quiet location, perfect for a most relaxing holiday. Amenities are excellent.

Idyllic Norfolk Island accommodation.
This is an older property but has everything a couple needs for a week long stay. The bed was beautifully comfortable and huge and the shower was excellent with plenty of hot water and roomy. The kitchen is older but very functional. It is quietly located on the outer edge of Burnt Pine township.

Great views, we were in number 10, very clean, everything provided, 20 minutes walk to town so get a hire car. One of the most beautiful islands on earth. Highly recommended this property.

It had everything we needed for a self contained unit . Very separate from the adjoining unit . Would love to see ceiling fans because there is no air conditioning which is okay .A stand alone fan is too noisy

Lovely Property - nice and quiet and excellent (adult) facilities. Communication prior to booking could have been improved - was it because we booked thru Expedia (which then masked our email from the proprietors ? - I don't know)

Wer gerne einsam hat!
Wir waren das erste mal auf Norfolk Island. Die Insel ist sehr abgelegen und dadurch nicht so stark besucht. Es hat sehr schöne Ecken auf der Insel aber nach einer Woche hat man es mehr oder weniger gesehen. Es ist natürlich nicht so viel los.

Next best thing to Endeavour...
Our trip this time was sudden and unexpected so we were having to book accommodation at the airport. My husband is an Islander however our house was not available and we didn't want to impose so suddenly on family. I'd stayed at Endeavour Lodge before, and while we would have loved to have stayed there, finances would not allow this time. We knew the Evans' family had this place as well as Endeavour, and it did not disappoint. Very comfortable and homey, with a nice view to Phillip Island. Avocados on Norfolk are the best, so it was nice to be welcomed with some in the fruit bowl. Quality fittings, well equipped kitchen (although we didn't have time this visit to do some cooking using local produce) and quality linen. The ONLY "negative" I have to post is this. The pillows, while in excellent condition, were just too flat for me. It would've been good if there were a couple of "chumpier" pillows for those who have neck problems. Perhaps something to look at when the next spend occurs? I just couldn't work it with 2 pillows on top of one another. But hey, you can't please everybody's pillow choice I know. :-) All in all, we are glad we stayed here and will likely stay again.

Perfect Place to Stay!
Ocean Breeze Cottages are great for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Lovely modern kitchen, separate laundry, excellent water pressure in the shower, comfortable king size bed in a roomy bedroom and fabulous views from the private patio out over Phillips Island and the ocean. We also got a hire car as part of our accommodation package, along with airport transfers - great value. All up an amazing place to stay on Norfolk Island. We'd definitely go back there.

Nice location with a view. Cleaning Staff were gre
Lovely hotel and great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Amenities more than adequate. I would not hesitate to book into that facility if I was to go back to Norfolk. Top class accommodation.

Great outlook
Good location, close to town looks out to sea. Includes car hire for 20 Dollars a day to cover insurance. This was not clear when we booked on line. The bed is a king rather than the advertised double. Washing machine, beach towels, well equipped kitchen for cooking, DVD player and an efficient well run office in town. Cell phone also available for use during stay. Couldn't have been looked after better.

handy position close to town & beach
The unit was 5mins drive or 15mins walk into the centre of town. We had a great view of Phillip Island & it's a beautiful walk down to Kingston Convict ruins taking 25mins. The cows wander about freely munching on the grasses beside the roadsides with not a care in the world, but the chooks scamper off very quickly at the sight of humans. I assume a few may end up on the dinner table and look upon us humans as the grim reaper. Nevertheless Norfolk oozes warmth & happiness. The locals wave to every passerby, even young children as they walk down the streets will give you a friendly wave
