Hi Robert,Thank you for your review. We do provide budget accommodation for short/over night stays. Our rooms have recently been upgraded with new furniture, also including the addition of tea/coffee supplies in each room. Our shared kitchen provides you with the use of a toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge for during your stay.We do understand the stairs to access the male bathrooms is not ideal and this is being thought about and discussed.

Thank you for your review Jarrod, we do wish we could change the layout, but unfortunately due to the age/structure of the building, it proves difficult to make major alterations, such as moving bathrooms. We do advertise that we offer budget accommodation and a full description of the rooms is readily available.

Good afternoon,I apologise for the mis-judgement in relation to the music volume in relation to your room.All staff are aware that it is under there control while on duty and up to them to take control of the surroundings/situations as they arise.

We have checked the ladies showers and have found that for some reason 1 out of the 2 showers is not getting hot water. This will be looked at asap. Good morning Sue, The hotel was open until Midnight last night (as it is every night) and staff working until between 1 - 1.30am. I myself was onsite until 12.30am. We are definitely not closed for the next few days. Should you have called the hotel to advise of a very late arrival we would have made sure you had access to your room, with a duty manager who lives on site.

Thank you for your review Glenn. Yes, we do offer a budget accommodation for those just passing through and wanting to experience a pub stay. I will definitely look into some improved provisions for the bathrooms/showers.

Good morning Karen, Thank you for your review, I wish to apologise for the inconsistancy you have experienced during your stays with us. The room you stayed in does not get used very often, so can be up to a month without it being full attended to. I will advise the cleaners to check this particular room on a minimum weekly basis to freshen up the room for the next stay. The night duty manager did actually contact me that night in regards to takeaway meals on plates etc, I did advise him that it was fine. His concern was the restrictions placed on our business around the vaccination rules for customers and what is acceptable and what is not. As it is all very open to individual interpretation, his judgement/decision was towards the stricter end of the scale. I do hope that you will choose to stay with us again in the furture Tracy Venue Manager
