Very happy with the Trout Motel. Room was very clean and beds we’re comfortable. We were upstairs and while the view was of a parking lot, the sky was incredible at sunset. Really appreciated the very good air conditioning was on when we arrived due too 100 degrees outside.

Overall, the room was clean, but the carpeting could have been vacuumed and the bathroom floor could have used a swipe with a mop. Otherwise, very convenient and accommodating to our needs. Thank you!!

The motel is right by the fly shop so very convenient for traveling anglers. The guy running the fly shop and motel was kind and helpful. Sold me a fishing license even through they had been closed for a while!

This place doesnt fail its a must i stay at the studio but this time it was taken we took a room it was like an apartment literally better than any hotel iv stayed at iv been traveling for over 6 years best hands down

Great Place
After being on the road for 8 weeks, we needed a place to cleanup and get a good night's sleep. This place was perfect. Hot showers and comfy beds. The owner called to let us know where our key would be since we were getting in late. But to our surprise he was there anyways. The place was clean and cozy. Much better than Motel 6 or Super 8. And the towels rate up there with your big chains like Best Western and Holiday Inns. Free coffee in the morning too.

As a fellow small hotel owner, little gems are hard to find in small towns. It reminded me a lot of my own property. Half the cost literally of anything in great falls. I would stay again, and even refer people there when I could.

We had a great time here. I would stay here again. Much more mellow than the surrounding towns. Trout Montana has everything you need to fish the river. I recommend staying here. You sleep, do your laundry, wash your car and get expert advice on the Missouri River.

Great Stay in Cascade
I was moved to the Trout's apartment suite when the regular rooms filled during booking. If I were to return with two or three people with me, I wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment. It was clean, well-appointed, next door to the laundry facility, and couldn't have been improved upon.

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s my go-to in Cascade. Nothing fancy but very clean and spacious rooms. We came in late and owner Mike was easy to contact and arrived within minutes of us calling. Excellent fly shop as well. Highly recommend.

Reservation#1771173127 confirmation#3765414196 Yet, when I got there, I'm informed I didn't have a room! Desk clerk said they've been trying to get ahold of me but couldn't since I inadvertently left off the last digit on my phone number. Which I had, but I also corrected it before I left home on the June 15th. The clerk claimed that when I made my reservation, he had already sold the room in question. They said they emailed me, but the only email I received was on June 24th, the day I'm suppose to check in!! The desk clerk and his assistant did call around Great Falls, Mt. and found me a room for two nights at a Super8, but it was for $189 per night. I was suppose to pay $105 per night at the Trout Montana Motel. I am extremely displeased by this and can't imagine how this happened and I don't find out about it until I'M THERE TRYING TO CHECK IN!!! And after driving 30 miles one way, on a motorcycle, in a driving rain thunderstorm! How does this happen? In a world of computers and instantaneous communication, I make a reservation on May 14th and don't find out it's not available until June 24th when I try to check in!! This total BS and may never use Expedia again if this is not rectified. David Pfister
