Dear Magne, Thank you for your review of Monte Paraiso Apartments. First of all, we would like to offer our apologies for the inconvenience you had with some cockroaches in the Apartment, but as you surely noticed, Monte Paraiso Apartments are surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers, gardens and as we do not like to use strong polluting poisons against the nature, yes sometimes they manage to get into an Apartment. Though we can understand that for any visitor from a colder country, cockroaches can be rare and exotic creatures, it would be well-nigh impossible for any accommodation in the Canary Islands to guarantee the absence of them as they are endemic of this subtropical area. However, any Hotel that scores well in the reviews will be bound to have a good spraying programme and the only time you'd be likely to experience problems is if the spraying is about to be redone. Our Sprays and programmes have improved vastly over the last 10 years and there are fewer problems nowadays within our premises, although there are as many cockroaches on the island. Please note that though evidence of cockroaches is a sign that the spray is no longer keeping them at bay; it says absolutely nothing about whether a Hotel is clean or dirty.
