The lady that checked us in, was absolutely wonderful. She was very friendly and welcoming even at 11:30 pm. Would definitely stay again.

My son and his siblings enjoyed the pool area of the property. Our room was clean, my son said the sheets smelled like bleach. Which means they were cleaned properly. However we did find old bread crumbs and pieces inside the nightstand drawers. Some of the drawers and cabinets need repair due them not staying closed or not closing properly. Overall our stay was fairly comfortable.

Property wise other than a bit dated, everything was clean. TV took forever to get started, waiting on DirecTV service to boot. Couldn’t figure out why. Breakfast was a little frustrating. No milk, no additional sausage for them to cook and what was in the pan looked shriveled, biscuits hard but gravy was good. Pancakes and cinnamon rolls good.

I called the hotel on our way to see if we could get an early check in., not only were they able to accommodate us, but Christy had also looked up my rewards number for me without even asking and added it on to the stay.

Check-in was quick and easy. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. This was our 2nd stay in recent years. Maintenance appears to be lacking. Our fridge didn't work - luckily the staff put our "to go" boxes in the on-site cooler. The shower faucet handle was not secure and seemed to spin, making it difficult to regulate the water temp. Only 1 of the 2 elevators was working. Not a bad stay, just seemed like a lot of little inconveniences.

This hotel was easy to get to. It had friendly staff who was welcoming. The breakfast was acceptable. However, it seemed to need an update. The bathroom was in need to a remodel. The wallpaper was coming off the wall; it looked dated.

My children and I have stayed there for the last three years during the Mississippi Valley Fair. It is easy to get to from Dixon and convenient to get to the fairgrounds.

Carpet was in need of a serious cleaning. Found a couple of bugs on my luggage that had been sitting on the carpet. Front desk staff was very nice.
