The property is really in a bad condition. Everything is really old and falling apart. Carpet are in very bad condition. Other than that the stuff and the surrounding area are great.

The staff is attentive and nice, and the location is very convenient for the convention center. But the hotel is quite old and poorly maintained. The carpeting is stained, the bathrooms are moldy and the rooms are drab.

No bed bugs, but all other types.
It didn’t have bed bugs but there were other types of bugs. There were bugs in the bedding and bathroom. The bathroom was filthy. The tub was covered in back stains. The carpets were not clean. All the countertops were dirty. There was rotting food in the fridge. The place was a dump. The staff was nice.

Wasnt very clean. Poor flooring. The cieling had a huge water spot where it had leaked. The bed was horrible. You felt every spring and had indentes where pepole had layed there. Had to ask for breakfast. Lady at the counter said i am juat here filling out the seat for the next two days.

This is a place you can stay for a night but not a place you'd ever want to. Run down, dilapidated, leaky, stained bath, worn out hallway carpets, loose screws. But the sheets were clean.

This motel was the worst we've ever stayed at. We thought Travelodge would be a good choice, as they used to have a positive name recognition.The desk person would not give us a ground floor room, saying he had none left, but the motel was half empty. The stairs and hall leading to the room had filthy and worn carpeting, torn down the middle, and places where it was duct taped. The room smelled bad, like stale cigarette smoke. The room carpet was disgustingly filthy. The bathroom ceiling was covered with fungus. The bathtub was black with dirt. One set of towels had reddish brown streaks on them. The coffee pot was dirty, I didn't bother to check the coffee maker at that point. The microwave was dirty inside, and very old, although it did work. There was no smoke detector, just wires hanging from the ceiling where it used to be. We feel completely ripped off. There should be a law protecting people from this kind of thing. We're just hoping there weren't any bedbugs. Wyndham appears to be the slumlord of motels, as we stayed at a Super 6 in Rapid City on this same trip, and it wasn't much better. It seems Wyndham buys up aging, worn out motels, and doesn't do any renovation, just collects the proceeds from people they sucker. So Expedia must share some responsibility for this travesty. We will NEVER stay in a Wyndham property again.

All staff were helpful & courteous. Breakfast was very good & breakfast area was very clean. Room is a bit dated, but it was very neat & clean. It was very quiet so sleep was good. A couple of the lights were out, but had enough working so it was ok. You need to replace the curtain. There are cracks in the lining. I would recommend this facility to friends & relatives. Very good value.

A Cheap basic hotel. You get what you pay for!!! Hotel could use a serious updating. Wifi is very sketchy. If you need a bed, a shower, a fridge, and a microwave at a cheap price this hotel would work for you.

The property pictures are needing to be updated because the carpets were in terrible condition, and the bathroom was moldy and dirty. The great thing is is the beds were comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast that is provided is not sufficient because a large family came in early and took everything and it wasn’t replaced.

Terrible place to stay
One of the worst places we have stayed in years. We are on a trip to Reno, Nevada with family and decided to stop here as a family with 3 different rooms and the stay was terrible from the time we parked.

cheap but would not stay if had any other choices
The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful / trying their best, but the hotel is in a terrible state: We were a group so had 5 rooms: - black mould in 3 of the 5 bathrooms to walls and ceilings so didn't want to use the showers for risk of getting that into the air and our lungs - carpets beyond worn - other worn / damaged items. The hotel feels like it needs major refurbishment, and probably has done for 20 or more years?

This room was ok, reasonably priced for its condition. But the carpet in the hallway was ripped and filthy. (We did hear that "flooring" was being replaced in the adjacent Super 8 so maybe they have plans soon for this the hall carpet?) The room was clean but dated, same with the bathroom. Little things came to our attention (such as no ice bucket, etc.) but we were only there for one night and out of there early in the morning so we weren't that uncomfortable there. We've had better and we've had worse. There are so many hotels in Elko, we think because of its proximity to I80 (and max driving time, 10 hours by car from the SF Bay Area), that in comparison to those, this hotel seems to have fallen on hard times. The staff was friendly and efficient.
