I stayed for 4 days...price was different than I expected...no clean linens..no cleaning...tick found on my pillow..upon arrival..as well as large ants and spider..I bought bug spray!..tub and bathroom sink...plugs not working..had to pry open to drain..had to ask for extra toilet paper and coffee...all in all..I will NOT GO BACK! EXpedia..you suck as well as this extablishment!

Good price, easy check in, pretty clean in the room although i found a silverfish in my sink after the first night. Also, piled plastic garbage in behind the hotel had a dog get into it and made a mess. I don't know if tgis was ckeaned ip yhe next day. But j was happy with stay.

The rooms are old and need to be remodelled. Old sheets and towels that have holes and spots you can see thru. Have to us one of two taxis to get into town for restaurants.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to with this one. We paid full price for this hotel and didn’t know it was undergoing renovations until arrival. There were 2 bed sheets shoved under the bed, along with dirt, someone’s socks and garbage. There was siding all over the balcony floors and partially in the parking lot, wires hanging from the roof and lying in the middle of the floors outside where you could trip and fall. The mattresses of the rooms being renovated were outside, exposed to rain(it was raining the whole time we were there) and bugs(unsure if they’re reusing these mattresses) - nothing was properly secured for renovations. The room had old furnishings and what appears to be ‘diy’ mirror frames. I can’t speak for the view as it was dark by the time we got there (there was a mattress half way in front of the window anyway) and we left early still in the dark due to the poor quality conditions of the hotel.

Thought we pulled into the wrong hotel. Nothing like the photos. Garbage all over the parking lot. Undergoing renovations, furniture all over balcony’s, exterior is missing siding. Looks very dingey and divey. We immediately had second thoughts on staying. We checked into our room hoping it was nicer on the inside but the room was awful and got increasingly worse the longer we spent in it and the more we noticed things. To list a few: food garbage left, the walls and floors in horrible shape with damage and horrible ‘repairs’ everywhere. Floors are sinking and walls are ripped/torn/dented and in some places have unsanded drywall. The smoke alarm was not up and was found in a drawer. The light was burnt out so we only had a lamp in the room. The bathroom door doesn’t click shut and swings open from the pressure of opening the front door. Dirt and dust. Stained sheets. Main floor to the divey parking window does NOT lock could be slid open. Room was FREEZING already. We had the heat cranked for hours and it did not warm up. One of the beds is broken and if you sit at the foot the whole head of the head lifts up. Two kids were to sleep on it but when we sat down for a book we thought it would break. Didn’t want to look under the bed but dropped something and happened to look and it looks like it’s NEVER been swept or mopped. Poor cleaning, felt unsafe, very disappointed. Can’t believe they’re renting these rooms out in this condition. Would not recommend. Awful.

The place was clean, afforable and loved that it accommodated my dog. That was #1 fo me. Too much bulky furniture which made it difficual to get around in the room. But overall it was a stop over for us and we would stay there again.

Property under total construction/renovation with NO on-site staff…..nobody at the desk so had to call a phone number to speak with someone. First room we got had no security lock on the door and the TV didn’t work. Second room we got had only one little desk lamp for light. Hair in bathtub. Pathetic 3 little cushions masquerading as pillows for a Queen size bed.

First room they gave had stains on sheets. They gave me a new room showing no surprise also stained sheets. Disgusting.

Older hotel in the historic townsite area with theatre, good dining and townsite brewery all in walking distance. Clean, comfortable, nice views and friendly accommodating staff.

Average motel. Sheets had stains so it's a good thing we brought our own. Cleanliness is around a 2.5/5. Indian restaurant next to it is convenient, skip the pakoras, biryani is great.

It's a nice, but older property, in a convenient part of old Powell River. The staff if friendly. The rooms are clean. Some are more renovated than others. The Wifi is good. Few plugs, thin walls, and noisy pipes are the only real downsides.

I stayed at this property, not by choice, but rather because I miss the fairy to Earls Cove by reading the schedule incorrectly. Please don’t make that mistake. I was able to book the very last room available, and was pleasantly surprised by the property. Keep in mind, the previous night I had stayed in the presidential suite at the Delta Victoria, and that was my frame of reference. I do not typically like staying at hotels like this, because I find them to be dirty and gross. However, surprisingly, this hotel had very comfortable beds, very clean and functional bathrooms, and in general, the cleanliness level was good. I felt safe in this hotel, and had all the amenities that I needed for a quick night sleep. The staff was courteous, and even came to my room to help me figure out how to turn on the television (because a certain wall switch needs to be turned on in order for the TV to operate). I will note that there are a lot of extension cords and multi plug sockets in the room, that did not seem so safe. I stayed at this hotel, not only because I needed a room, but also because it was rated far better than the other similar priced motel rooms in town. I can confirm that this hotel is rated properly And I was glad that I stayed. While it is not a glamorous property, I believe that the owners take pride in the hotel, and in creating a comfortable environment that is also economical.

This property is terribly dirty. First room I was given head bugs and a hunk of skin in the bed with nothing wipe down on counters. They gave me another room and it was just as bad there was dog or cat hairs, dog or cat hairs in the bed in the sheets, as well as human hairs, and other black spots everywhere. Fruit flies all over dirty ghost flies all over a dirty old sponge at the sink. This is Third World living it’s awful it was late at night or I wouldn’t of stayed at all the shower didn’t work there was no place to turn the shower on. There was black rings around the tub. I noticed that in black rings around the tub. The towels were in terrible condition , this does not sit well with your name. Sorry about that but it doesn’t and giving people washcloths full of black dye or something lighting was very poor overall, I would not ever stay there again.
