Staff 2-: super friendly and helpful. There was an abundance of coffee and tea in the room as well as in the office. Kitchen was small but clean and had everything we needed (no dishwasher). Rooms heated up really quickly and kept the place warm. Beds and pillows were super comfortable and towels were super fluffy. Great location close to skaha bluffs and right across from the lake, some good restaurants and groceries nearby.

Had the owner contact us to make sure we didn’t need a late check in which was much appreciated. Got to chatting with him and he was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Lakeside Villa as your choice of stay in Penticton right across the street from the beach.

Second time staying and will always stay here when in Penticton. Great location, Claude was extremely hospitable and the rooms are comfortable and updated.

Most enjoyable stay
Lovely spot, loved the private beach and the quiet oasis at the back. Quiet room although next to the highway, Staff are very helpful and very kind . We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year This is a real gem

New owners have made this a comfortable place to stay. Bed & pillows were good. Staff were excellent. Good bathroom reno. Liked the screen on the window to keep out the bugs. Missing a full length mirror and the AC unit tried hard but wasn’t that successful. Great private beach.

Short Get-Away
Unit was very clean, but a bit cramped. Could use a full length mirror, somewhere in unit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again. Very convenient for beach access.👍👍😎

Picnic seating area in the back. The room we had was newly updated with full kitchen. Very comfortable bed, nice and clean . Noise of traffic from highway.

2023 Penticon Stay
We had a good stay. We had two queen beds. It would have helped if there was a bit more room for stuff. The only dresser was loaded with stuff. Good stuff, like coffee maker, plenty of wine and coffee mugs. Julie was awesome, very pleasant and friendly. We are big coffee drinkers and she gave us as many Keurig cups as we wanted. Room was very clean and nice fluffy towels. The shower had all the typical stuff mounted on the wall with pumps so easy to use.. Windows open which is what we like however there is a good amount of road noise but better than AC for us. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Great stay!
We stayed 2 nights for the Peach Festival. Great, reasonably priced hotel. Total revamped retro vibe! The owner was super friendly, clean rooms (with Nespresso in each room!), shockingly quiet even though it's right off 97, and the grassy area behind the hotel has ping pong, clean chairs, tables...exactly what we needed. Cheaper than most of the Airbnb's. Highly recommend.

Hi Ryan,I think there may have been an error in what room type you were looking at and what was reserved. All our pictures are 100% accurate and we have never heard otherwise from our guests. Perhaps you may have been looking at our Deluxe Family Suite, however reserved a Family Suite. The difference between the two is that our Deluxe Family Suite has been recently renovated and the pictures reflect this.

Staff were nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Private beach was so nice but they could add shower or foot wash area after beach and maybe some flat beds to lay down for sun bath would be great :)

Great suggestion! We are looking into an outdoor shower / wash area for next summer. We currently have a water hose in our Oasis garden area to use. Be sure to check out our website for all the continued improvements to the Lakeside Villa!

Lakeside Villa is located across the street from Skaha Lake. The new owners have done a great job renovating the units. We stayed in the Family Suite. It had a full kitchen with a large stove, fridge, and microwave. The little kitchen was well appointed with everything a cook would need. It also provides grills for BBQs in their lovely green space. Julie, the manager is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We enjoyed several delicious apricots right from the tree. You're just a 5 minute drive to main street, and lots of shopping and restaurant choices. We will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are nicely renovated and clean and well equipped. Both of the owners that I spoke to were welcoming and very helpful. It's nice to see a small locally owned motel that cares about its guests. There is a nice yard/patio area with seating and BBQs, and it really is a short walk to a very nice private beach area. There's even a small pub (Beach Cider) and a local ice cream place a very short walk away. Lakeside will be my new go to place to stay when I visit my family in Penticton.

Newly renovated rooms. Good quality linens, pillows, and mattress. The room is equpped with good amenities, like a fridge,.microwave, coffee machine with good coffee.Staff are very friendly. The motel also has a nice backyard and guests can have an access code for the private beach across from the hotel. .

Suited my needs.
Stayed 2 nights at the Lakeside Villa as I was in town for a trade show. The staff were very good, the room was very clean and surprisingly quiet (as it is right on the highway). The free parking was a bit challenging only because they were full up so it was grab a spot wherever you could. I didn't get a chance to enjoy their BBQ area but it looks like it would be fun. No pool but beach access so you can still cool off on hot days. Overall I would recommend the Lakeside Villa especially if you want a reasonably priced location with full kitchen a right near the beach. It's not a Hilton but is good value for money for sure.

Great Location
I really liked this motel. Updated rooms, private beach across the road. Owners/staff very friendly and helpful. There was some road noise during the day due to my room location, but I really didn’t mind. Amenities are all within a 5-10 minute drive and you’re right off the main highway.

Super clean! Lovely newly renovated rooms... a bit far from restaurants and right on the highway... but that is also as much a positive as a negative when you're passing through... the private beach was a huge plus and there are fire pits and bathrooms available... big big plus!!!

The new owners are renovating this hotel and they are doing a great job! I stayed in a newly renovated room and it was comfortable, modern decor, linens are high quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will stay again.
