Sheets were stained so it kinda freaked me out that they weren’t clean. Then I noticed the bath rug was stained and I relaxed. They were very clean. You should get rid of the stained linens.

Only place to stay when in the area!
I’ve been staying here for many years when I visit family in the area. Very close to town but very quiet also. Since the new owners took over in 2020 they have been updating and it’s coming along nicely! I choose this place over the hotels in Camden because of the friendly owners, close to town for your needs but quiet, and the beds always give a good nights sleep. Very clean and comfortable for the family or just when it’s the wife and I. Would highly recommend!!

Only good for a place to sleep
The room itself was clean. The people running the place wasn't very friendly. There wasn't any breakfast served and also the pool was closed and they didn't mention that. Half the TV channels didn't even pick up.

Room and bath clean. Both cleaned after 1st day of stay as well. A/c worked well, room stayed cool. Light between beds too bright. Outlets for plugging in necessary accessories were limited. Good TV reception. Missed having king-size bed as requested due to renovations but 2 queens were fine. But beds are almost too high for short people!

They have upgraded the rooms,but the beds are not comfortable at all. The new floors and painted walls were nice since it hasn't been changed in like forty years.

I was in one of the updated rooms and absolutely loved my stay. This was the comfiest bed I have ever slept on in a hotel! I'll definitely be staying here again next time i head out that way.

This is a nice little motel for the price. It had amenities like hair dryer, ironing board/iron, usb charging port, etc that some more expensive hotels don't even offer. We were there on a Saturday night and didn't see or hear any other guests, which was great since it was very quiet, but a little bit sad also. I hope they do more business other times of the year.

The only motel in town…would not stay again. Stayed here twice before and it was very adequate but this time there is no lobby where we previously sat to enjoy coffee, and the walls in our room were not clean. Check in was slow and the tiny foyer was very warm. There was a pungent food odor coming from behind the window. The attendant was pleasant.

Room had horrible smell. Had to go out and buy air freshener. Floor was disgusting and turned feet black after showering. Cobwebs hanging from corners of the room. Walls had patch marks from repairs and were visibly dirty. Pool was empty. Breakfast not offered and sign in window stated COVID was the reason.

ok. clean with friendly staff
They advertise as having breakfast both on their site AND on their sign out front but don't have. Not even coffee or a lobby you can sit in and not have to wake up your spouse. They also advertise a pool but it is drained. The room (109) was clean. The king bed is on the firm side and so any movement causes your partner to bounce.

The property was clean and quiet. Due to covid and staff shortges - there was no breakfast service, and the pool was not operational. It was a good central place to stay, staff was friendly and wifi and TV worked. Would stay there again.

The pool has no water in it and they had a sign on the lobby saying no continental breakfast. This was the main two reasons we picked this hotel. We were disappointed.

Sadly the sweet southern charm doesn’t exist here anymore. It was like we were interrupting them when we checked in. The door to our room wouldn’t close all the way. A big gap was about 25 percent of the door from the floor up. I have never seen such a posted list of rules and extra charges anywhere we have ever stayed. The room was fairly clean but room had a stale smell.

First time in 1.5 years that a hotel actually has housekeeping service. Time for others to either update their websites (i.e. that they do not have any housekeeping or amenities) or accept that AirBnB will take their business for good.

Very clean and comfortable
No frills but I rather have clean and the room was very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Frig, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Will stay here again.
