Overpriced and not clean at all.
Overpriced even it is still consider budget hotel range. Dusty and spiderweb visible everywhere. Front desk check-in slow thou it just us checking in, with unfriendly facial expression. Have been staying a lot of budget hotel much cheaper than this, but never felt as eerie as this.

Highly Disappointed and Disgusted
Our stay at the Golden Roof was terrible. From the start, the check in took a lengthy amount of time even though no one else was waiting to be checked in. When arriving to our first room, there was a huge yellow stain on the bed. Upon complaining for over an hour, the manager finally offered us an upgrade. Unfortunately, the upgrade was actually a downgrade. Wallpaper falling off, dead bugs on the floor, broken window, drainage problems in the bathroom, other people’s hair all over floor and on the bed. I would highly suggest not to book this hotel and waste your money here. The rooms again were terrible, the couches in the lobby even had stains, the hallways smelt like smoke even though it was nonsmoking, and the staff were rude and not willing help correct the issues. Extremely disgusted and disappointed with this establishment!

The customer service was good but the hotel conditions was very poor, there’s a leaking in the washroom and the room wallpaper peeled off.

Bad experience hotel stay
Because of air con spoil......need to shift room for more than x3. Finally gt a room which was like a hut.....veryx3 small. Receptionist very rude. Toilet very dirty.

Needs a lot improvement
toilet and room not cleaned properly ! in fact it is so discomfiting to see remnants of hair, dust and even a bottle of used shampoo in the toilet !

pungent smell from toilet not sure from the sewage or toilet bowl seems abit choke.. call for help, customer services only came to flush and say nothing is wrong even though he could smell it also.. ask to change rm yet was full house. he went to take up some air freshener and spray the toilet.. ask him if he could leave the air freshener in the rm so that we can use it if the smell is still there.. he say cant. can only ask from rm service the next morning.. we dare use the toilet or open the toilet door as the smell was too strong and check out early in the am at 6am.. would never go bavk again

RIDICULOUS SERVICE! WONT BACK TO THAT HOTEL EVER!!
booked for 2 rooms and check in at 12am. 1st room - air conditioner cant function at all and phone not able to use. called for maintenance to repair and took more than one hour to fix it. even fixed, the air was hot air. cant sleep for whole night!!! 2nd room - air conditioner cant function as well some more leaking water. flush in the toilet cant use! asked for exchange room, said fully booked and just ignore us! asked for an explanation from management but all supervisor and manager just ignore us!!! the service of staff were really rude and bad! never stay a hotel experience like this. BAD FACILITIES, DIRTY ENVIRONMENT AND RUDE STAFF SERVICE!!!

Request for a hair dryer since afternoon when check in. Called and asked for few times, no response was given by staffs. Until night went down to counter, they only start looking and told me housekeeper went back. No hair dryer and make us until midnight!!

Will not recommend this hotel to others
Generally,the room was nice but the facilities were terrible. 1. stated b4 booking that there will be free Wifi provided but with great disappointment there wasn't any and when we enquired from the reception, they gave excuses with no solutions. 2. there wasn't any table inside the room to place our luggage bags. Need to place on the floor 3. the room that we stayed,the telephone wasn't functioning. When we complained the reception said will send someone over to check but wasn't done even till we checked out. 4. there wasn't a single pack of beverage provided in the room other than the presence of 2 large cups. 5. the TV series didn't have any international Astro,CNN,Sports,Movies etc.The only Channel that anticipated was CCTV which was in mandarin version with no sound and poor reception. 6. the Toilet bowl water system wasn't strong for flushing which need regular checking. There was no special reservation car parking for occupants. All parkings are along the Hotel roadside but with a night security guard to look after. Had difficulty finding a car park near the hotel at night when we came back from dinner.

We do provide WiFi access however for during your visit we have been encountering some internet issue with TMNET and even the whole area near our hotel. We regretfully sorry about our staff lack knowledge of the hotel facilities however we will get them re-train again. 2. The room you booked could be the Superior Twin, Deluxe Queen & Deluxe Suite which in the description on the website it never stated with desk & chair as it was charge at a budget rate. We do have desk & chair for our higher category such as Premier King, Superior Suite. 3. We are sincerely sorry that the phone wasn't working and we will highlight to the respective department for rectification. 4. The rooms does comes with complimentary bottle water but if you have not we again apologize for the inconvenience and will highlight the respective department. 5. Sorry for the TV channel as it is only on digital channel not satelite. We take note on this as we might be planning to upgrade our service in the future. 6. We will take note on the toilet flow and rectify the respective department to rectify it. Pertaining to parking spaces, yes there is limited space block for the hotel but there are ample of parking space just around the school and it is nearby the hotel. It is safe with the security guard looking after it. Thank you for your fabulous feedback in order for our team to improve.

Front desk inform that i need to pay deposit which i'm not aware. They have logo of accepting master card, which when k ask if i can pay using debit card, she said no. I ask other option as my daughter not feeling well and no atm nearby. She just said no with hard fullstop.

Room TV channels are limited and reception is bad. Toilet was dirty. Bedsheets were also dirty and can see hairs and sand inside the quilt covers. Wifi reeception was lousy and cannot get a connection the whole night..

Worse room status
The room was dirty and still can see yellow stains inside the toilet, after complaint changed to other room but just better a bit than before, I stay at this hotel few times already from the hotel beginning until now, I feel that the room status was became worse and worse, I won't visit again if the status still remain.

Below average room
The wifi was bad. Can only connect to it intermittently. The walls of the room were thin and you can hear people walking and talking in the next room. The toilet floor became flooded after every shower.

Booked 6 room ... Room number 216 the room complain bout the aircond , no one come up n repair . They come up to clean the room but we haven check out left everything Inside the room ... I told them , I complain bout aircond no one come , I haven check out u all come in without permission ... They answer , this room aircond ady cannot be used should change ur room ...means they ady know what's the problem about the room ... 213 toilet door cannot be closed ...

New & Modern Hotel
The Hotel was new&modern style. Actually is quiet clean but i found the cockroach inside the toilet. I was very dissapointed to the staff service of the reception.The staff is not friendly and wasn't have any basic hotel knowledge.During Check in,the receptionist told me that she don't have any booking number in their system.But i have called up to them before 1 day to comfirmed the room,end up is delay my time only get my room. Once get the room card, written there is 3 floor but i try to open is can't open,then i ask back to the receptionist and she told me wrong room number she gave to me.OMG, i feel that really not professional,if the room got others guest, i might be scold by the guest. But i like the security staff, is friendly and polite.He open the door for us everytime and told us where have restaurant to eat. The room ammenities is less even no shampoo and hair dryer inside the room.but overall is ok.
