Stuck in elevator
So I got stuck in the elevator. It was the longest 28 minutes of my life. I am very c claustrophobia , and by the time they got the doors open I was on the floor trying to keep calm, but was having a very hard time breathing, I was sick most of the night from the stress and anxiety. Without even so much as I’m sorry from the management and or the staff on duty. Not even an offer for a further stay, on them. I mean absolutely nothing, like it was no big deal to them at all. The next morning at breakfast I could hear them talking about it, but still no apology from them.

The front desk clerk was horrible. She checked us in and out. They were obviously having computer problems or maybe she was just incapable but no apologies or sorry this is taking so long….RUDE

The room was clean. The beds were super comfortable and clean. However, you can hear everything going on in the hallway and the room next door. I kept waking up from people talking in the halls.

My first room smelled heavily of dogs. I switched rooms for my 2nd night. The tub wouldn’t drain properly in that room. Location is great and the staff was very nice. The hotel needed updating.

The property was under construction due to a hurricane in September. They advertised rooms for rent on Expedia. No notice of total closure and absolute remodeling. No employees on site and No refund from Expedia.

I was allowed to make a reservation but upon arriving at the facility I discovered that it has been closed since Hurricane Ida. There should have been notification during the reservation process.

Decent stay. Would stay again
Check in the lady was nice but very overwhelmed and flustered. Check out another lady was on the phone but never acknowledged i was there. I didn't expect her to talk but aleast a glance up. I just threw the keys in the basket and left. I was going to make sure the hotel didn't need anything from me because they didn't get any info at check in. Room only had 2 towels for 3 people and 2 days.

The room was half clean, we had to ask for pillows and for towels and wash clothes our room was never cleaned when we asked we were told that the cleaning crew only came ever 5 days and then they would leave your stuff out side of you room there was no breakfast and pool was not open

Each hotel room's bathroom does not have a vent. Makes no sense. It got very hot after 2 of us showered. Parts of the bathroom were falling apart. Breakfast was good quality but only went until 10am

We stayed at this location to attend the mardi gras parades. The front desk rep was pleasant and the room was clean. The only issue we had was that the room air unit wasn’t working properly. The heater wouldn’t work (wouldn’t turn on) when we first walked in the room the a/c was on 62 and blowing on high, so needless to say the room was freezing. We did inform the front desk, she did ask if we were justing the control on the until and not on the wall (which we informed her that we indeed were using the controls on the unit, plus we even tried the wall controller just to make sure). She apologized for the inconvenience and explained that if she had any available rooms she would have changed our room.

Nice hotel
The hotel was nice and in a great location close to shopping and food. However, when my friends and I got there several of our rooms did not have hot water. The hotel did accommodate us by allowing us to shower in an empty room that did have hot water. Maintenance was able to fix the issue the next day and left us a nice note.

The staff are nice and the property is quiet but the hotel itself is nasty! Looks like the place is falling apart! I spent 100 bucks on a room that had plumbing problems! Internet connection was the worse. That hotel is worse than a motel!

First day we arrived there we had to switch rooms due to one whole side of the room losing power. Plus, the air conditioning unit not working properly. Both rooms we had were disgusting. No air ventilation in the bathroom which of course will cause mold on ceiling. Dirt and grime along the floors in bathroom. Smelled very weird in the room. Pool was full of leaves for the whole duration of our stay, never cleaned out. The continental breakfast was great and that’s the only thing that was nice.

Television not working
I booked online the day before so to me it didn’t matter what time I arrived. I arrived about at the hotel at 10:00 pm and there was only one room left the hotel was full. When I got to my room I tried to turn on the television and it kept giving me a no signal. I called the front desk to let the person know and was told I’m sorry there is nothing I can do. I am sure they had already tried to give this room to someone else so why who you try to sell this room at all. In all the manager the next morning was very apologetic and made compensation for it, but if something in the room doesn’t work don’t try to sell it to a customer thinking that the customer won’t care.

Clean rooms, nice buffet- overall a good value
Clean rooms with fridge and microwave, which is nice. Good options for breakfast buffet and 24 coffee station. The overly loud Fox News in the morning made the breakfast experience less than pleasant. The gym is basic but functioning, although with a bit of a smell. But overall, a good value.
