I waited forever at the front desk to check in. I finally got checked in went to the room and it was a single bed and I reserved a double bed. So went back to the desk got a different room went to that room and the key didn’t work went back to the front desk got a working key. Got back up to the room and there was no towels and there was hair in the shower.

First off key didn't work, went back to get it fixed twice...two Total pillows in the room, no towels, charger wouldn't stay plugged into outlets, says no smoking but people definitely smoke, tv super small, toilet water leak and water pressure was crap. Overall i would expect this at a $55 a night hotel not a $130

Hotel is a dump. Construction workers partying on sidewalk late at night, hooting at people, and urinating in parking lot. Very unclean property. Needs a lot of work. No pool as advertised. Bugs all over. Stains on bed. We refused to stay and were charged $300 for the 2 nights. I would be ashamed to represent this so called business.

For the price will you do it?
Price was the only reason I stayed buying a house and escrow hasn’t closed, but I will never go back here. Ghetto run down, people need to put the drugs down around there. They need to use that energy and vacuum a hallway or stairs

Cheap and you can tell
You get what you paid for. I booked for two adults and only had one set of towels in the room. The one I got was permanently stained and the shower curtain had been melted by something in the middle.

The room was terrible had dead bugs in all the corners of the bathroom , Ihad to kill a few spiders. The bathroom floor was sticky, the toilet was very dirty . If you want to see for yourself the room number was 102.

My room smelled bad. Stayed for never got fresh towels or any type of service. Lesson learned it's frustrating that hotel changed like this do not offer any type of service.

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned. Splash marks on mirror, pink stuff in sink. Had clean towels. Bed fitted sheet was so thin I thought there wasn’t one. Found cigarette hole in it. Lamp shade fire hazard melted shade, no turn knob only screw, unplugged. Carpet wasn’t vacuumed. Dirty chair, cigarettes? Whole place smelled of cigarettes despite non smoking on upper level. Travel-lodge pictures is nothing compared what it really is on the inside. We won’t be back. For the $95 what you pay is what you get.

Manage Expectations
I read the reviews and room description before settling on Travelodge. Ultimately everywhere else was super expensive for a 3 night stay. I think there were multiple events this weekend, so room rates were higher in Holland than the previous two years we've been here. If you stay here, keep in mind that you get what you pay for. I meal prep breakfast and dinner because my kid has to eat healthy meals during swim meets. I brought our cooler and air fryer because there's no mini fridge in the rooms. There's a microwave in the lobby depending on where you are in the hotel, it could be a hike. We were close. There's no elevator. The bedroom/dining table area was clean/vacuumed. The pillows are flat, not pancakes, but I needed both to feel like I was using one at home. I brought pillows from home. Other than that the bed was comfortable. The bathroom sink was clean. The toilet seat had a droplet of I don't know what on it, and there was a ring inside the toilet like what you see if you forget to clean the basement toilet for a couple months. The bathtub was one of those one piece tub/shower deals. I used my Scrubbing Bubbles to clean the toilet seat and tub/shower/soap dish. I didn't clean the inside of the toilet. All the furniture and decor is probably from the 90s except the tv. The television is a flat screen, but it is tiny, maybe a 30".

Absolutely filthy
Every single thing in this hotel was terrible. The room was so filthy i opted to brush my teeth in the parking lot on the morning of checkout and just leave as quickly as possible. The mattress had huge stains and no cover, the pillows were totally flat, there were questionable stains on nearly everything, the sink barely drained, hairs and stains on every towel provided. Horrible experience over all i seriously thought we would get a disease sleeping there.

Online photos are not representative of actual condition of the premises. Most of the claimed amenities were out of order or had been discontinued. There is an obvious lack of maintenance to the building.

Very disappointing
The rooms had a very musty smell. There were no pillow cases on the pillows. There were no top sheets on the beds. We were told that the manager also owned another hotel in Hudsonville, but even though there were rooms available there, we were not allowed to pay the difference in price and switch to the other hotel.

budget is as budget does
This is a low budget hotel . Get your head around that and your expectations will be closer to the mark. We were there for 5 nights. No change of bedding happened during that time, and no fresh towels. There was no coffee maker , fridge or microwave in the rooom. The beds were great and the price was right. So, if you just passing thru, and need a place to sleep only, then this hotel meets that criteria. Coffee was available in the lobby, and the staff were nice.

Don’t waste your time
The lobby was very dirty with cabinet doors hanging off. The halls smelled like pot, the rooms were so loud with the road noise, and the room was not very inviting.
