There is no hot tub. I’m on a 100 mile hike and was taking a rest at the city for a night. Was really looking forward to the hot tub, it’s why I booked this property. I get here and they say it’s been filled with cement.

Comfotable and quiet
It's a little away from the highway which makes it quieter, though it is still easy in and out. Elevators are quiet. Dining room pretty good sized and good complete breakfast--although the pancake maker and oatmeal weren't available on our day. They dud have premade Belgian Waffles you could toast. Our mattress was fiem and comfortable. Would stay here again

When we arrived no hot water but it got fixed. At breakfast cook didn’t show up until later. Overall ok stay

There was no soap in the bathroom. Also the hot water quit working. Lamp on the desk would turn on and off on its own.

The rooms were very spacious, the beds comfortable, and the staff welcoming and efficient. We did have issues with hot water, and in one of our rooms, the heater was not working.

Better than expected!
I have stayed in a LOT of hotels in my life but have never been as impressed as I was with Emily at this Holiday Inn! She greeted me by name when I checked in, found us a better rate than advertised, helped coordinate an additional room for family, and made me feel like I was a VIP! The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was great, we felt safe, and special. Great experience! We will stay here every time we are in Huntsville!

The property was reasonably clean, there are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the front desk. Ingress and egress to the hotel is aweful.

The property had dirt as we entered. The room was a little run down, furniture looked damaged. The bed was absolutely terrible! We hardly slept because it was so uncomfortable. At one point I got up and tried to sleep in the chair that was in the room. Would never stay here again, which is disappointing because we’ve had good experiences at other Holiday Inn locations.

We did not enjoy our stay. The mattresses were uncomfortable, room was dark (no matter how many lights we turned on), lighting in the bathroom was poor, and the shower made an extremely loud noise when we used it. I do not recommend staying here.

Needs attention
I reserved a king bed room but was given a double bed room. The bathroom wasn’t clean, there was hair in the bathtub, tiles loose in the floor, paint chipping and wallpaper peeling off the wall above the bed.

The property was okay for the time being but I would not recommend it to anyone else, It is out of date, has somewhat of an odor, and poorly kept.

Absolute Disappointment
When we arrived at the hotel we were told that they had a leak and did not have a room available for us and couldn’t do anything to help. They stated that they didn’t have my phone number therefore they couldn’t call but they called me Friday to confirm and then I spoke to the hotel the morning of the reservation and was told they would see us this evening. This is unacceptable and I will never stay at an IHG hotel. Thankfully

Didn’t enjoy our stay!
I did not enjoy my stay. The hotel didn’t have a clean smell to us. The room was very dusty. The counters and coffee pot was covered in dust causing my allergies to flare up. The bed was not comfortable and there was zero water pressure coming out is the shower. We came down to be with our daughter for Bearkat Family Weekend and have no plans of staying there again on future stays. Given the conditions of her room we had no interest in the complimentary breakfast.

Okay stay.... price doesn't meer expectation
Okay hotel...low to mid grade. Definitely could use some updating but wasn't a bad stay. Bed waa super hard and a couple staina on bedding. Also som e rraah behind night stand from previous guest. The check in staff (Emily) was great ans helpful.

Room I booked not available.
I book a two bed suite. The first room was not ready. Beds not made. Towels left out on chairs. Used forks left on tables. They didn't have any other rooms suites available, and I had to stay in a regular room. The front desk clerk said they would talk with a manager about giving me money back. The next day. They said they couldn't do anything about my stay, so I payed for a higher priced room, and got stuck with a normal room with nothing done about it.

Desk attendants very polite and friendly. Plumbing in Room 125 a nightmare. Super loud and faucet shook while turned on in shower. Low water pressure and little hot water. Room is noisy due to location. Patches all over bathroom ceiling.

AC unit never did get the room cool despite being set on 60 degrees. Was so warm we only used sheet for cover.

Dissatisfied
We reserved 2 rooms the two queen beds suite was given away before our arrival. Therefore we paid more for a room that was smaller but for our parents it was ok. But since we paid I was disappointed with the fact it was not what I reserved. The other room reserved was a whirlpool suite but the Jets did not work. The bathroom sink was clogged up. The sheets on the bed were clean but had a faint sweaty smell, the bed itself was firmer than what I like. The telephone in the room did not work so we had to go down to front desk to tell them all that was wrong. Also you have to move furnishing out of the way to reach the plug to charge cell phones.
